Be Thou Perfect ~ Pastor Ayo Oritsejafor

Topic: Be Thou Perfect [Saturday 7, January 2017]

“The Lord our God spake unto us in Horeb, saying, ye have dwelt long enough in this moment.” (Deuteronomy 1:6)

I assure you, on the strength of all biblical assurances that you will live the new life. However, when you start experiencing this new life, do not relent in your service to God. Some Christians relax the moment they receive a little breakthrough. And before they know it, they start experiencing setbacks. Apostle Paul says: “Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, I press toward the mark for the prize of high calling of God in Christ Jesus.” (Philippians 3:13-14)

As successful as Apostle Paul was in ministry, he didn’t see himself as having achieved anything. He kept on pressing toward the prize of the high calling in Christ Jesus. See yourself as a governor and achieve that new life.

The bible records that the children of Israel eventually got to the Promised Land.

“And they took of the fruit of the land in their hands, and brought it down unto us, and said, it is a good land which the Lord our God doth giveth us” (Deut. 1:25)

I prophesy over your life: You will build that house of your dream. You will buy that car of your choice. You will go to the school of your dream. You will get the job after your heart. You will fulfill your destiny in Jesus name!
