Topic: Your Confidence Is In God [Wednesday January 18, 2017]
“And this is the confidence that we have in Him, that, if we ask any thing according to His will, he heareth us. And if we know that he hear us, Whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of him.” (1 John 5:14-15)
Whenever you ask anything according to His will, He hears you. Your confidence is that since you are confident that He hears you, you already have whatever you asked of Him. The devil is in trouble.
The Church prayed without ceasing for Peter. Then, one night, an angel appeared in the prison. Why did an angel not appear when they took James away? There was no corporate prayer.
In spite of the bolts, nuts, keys, and locks in the prison, the angel still appeared inside. The angel woke Peter up and said to him: ‘Put on your clothes and shoes.” Together, they set off. As they went every gate on their way opened by itself. Even a gate made of iron opened by itself and the angel led Peter out into the street. Peter was freed, not by judicial pronouncement or presidential pardon but by spiritual orchestration.
Peter then went to the house where Christians were still praying for him and knocked on the door. In the prayer meeting was Rhoda, a very restless young girl. She heard the knock, went to the door, opened it, and saw Peter but couldn’t believe her eyes. So she slammed the door against him. She thought Peter was a spirit.
When your miracle happens, you will think you are in a dream. Even your enemies will not believe their eyes. Today, receive unbelievable miracles. Become that, for which you have been written off.
Word of Wisdom: Even a gate made of iron opened by itself.

Prayer/Confession: Father, let my angel appear at the darkest hour of my life. When all hope seems to have been lost, Jehovah, surprise everyone, in Jesus’ name.
