Faith Expresses Itself By An Act ~ Pastor Ayo Oritsejafor

Topic: Faith Expresses Itself By An Act [January 10, 2017]

“Be not deceived: God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.” (Gal. 6:7)

You must remember that faith is something you do to give expression to what you believe. When Isaac sowed in a land of famine, he was simply demonstrating his faith in and giving expression to what he believed. He believed that when God instructed that he should stay in a land of famine, it implied that there was something good for him in the land. He showed his belief in God’s Word by demonstrating the Word of God.

Did you know that God created this world by the law of His Word? The Bible says,“Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.” (Heb. 11:3)

God sustains what He made by the law of His word. He made it by His Word and keeps it by His Word.

“But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are now, by the same word are kept in store.” (2 Peters 3:7)

If God has said it, go and have it. Likewise, if you got it by the Word, keep it by the Word. You don’t have to be afraid of going for it. And when you have it, you don’t have to be afraid of losing it. You will not lose your child. You will not lose your business. And you will not lose your job. The Word of God that gave them to you will keep them for you.
