DCLM Daily Manna – Conditional Security

Pastor W. F. Kumuyi

DCLM Daily Manna 1 September 2022 Devotional By Pastor W. F. Kumuyi — Conditional Security

TOPIC: Conditional Security (DCLM Daily Manna 1 September 2022)

TEXT: Genesis 35:1-5 (KJV)

1 And God said unto Jacob, Arise, go up to Bethel, and dwell there: and make there an altar unto God, that appeared unto thee when thou fleddest from the face of Esau thy brother.

2 Then Jacob said unto his household, and to all that were with him, Put away the strange gods that are among you, and be clean, and change your garments:

3 And let us arise, and go up to Bethel; and I will make there an altar unto God, who answered me in the day of my distress, and was with me in the way which I went.

4 And they gave unto Jacob all the strange gods which were in their hand, and all their earrings which were in their ears; and Jacob hid them under the oak which was by Shechem.

5 And they journeyed: and the terror of God was upon the cities that were round about them, and they did not pursue after the sons of Jacob.

KEY VERSE: “Then Jacob said unto his household, and to all that were with him, Put away the strange gods that are among you, and be clean, and change your garments” (GENESIS 35:2).

MESSAGE:

There are countless events recorded in the Holy Bible to disprove the so-called doctrine of unconditional eternal security. The theory holds that once you are saved from sin, you remain justified forever, regardless of your unguarded post-salvation lifestyle. It advocates that you may live a carefree life after salvation.

From the text, the Lord had restrained the children of Shechem from wreaking vengeful fury on Jacob and his household. Though He had delivered them once, He now asked him to head for Bethel, “and make there an altar unto God.” But Jacob was not ignorant of the ways of the God of his fathers. For him and his family to continue to enjoy divine protection, they must be in a constant state of holiness. As they heeded Jacob’s directive to “Put away the strange gods… and be clean”, the Lord also retained His presence with them.

Unless we discard the “strange gods” in our lives, we would not be able to enjoy the full security Christ brought through His death and resurrection. We must do away with anything that drives away God’s presence in our lives.

Strange gods give man a false sense of joy and destroys our relationship with God. To continue to enjoy His presence, we must remain with Him every moment after being born again. Jesus makes it clear that only those who endure to the end will be saved (Matthew 24:13).

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY:
Believers’ security is conditional.

TREM Devotional – God Does Not Leave You Blank

Dr. Mike Okonkwo TREM

Wisdom For The Day Devotional 30 August 2022 By Bishop Mike Okonkwo – God Does Not Leave You Blank

TOPIC: God Does Not Leave You Blank (TREM Devotional 30 August 2022)

“They looked unto him, and were lightened: And their faces were not ashamed.” Psalm 34:5 (KJV)

 MESSAGE:

God always has answers to every question of your heart. To Esther and Mordecai; He answered: I allowed Haman to get to that utmost height he wanted to so that when I bring him down, he will never rise again. I knew I was going to bring him down. I want you to know that whatever is assailing your life and whatever the enemy has packaged will never stand.

He answered Joseph, I am preparing you. You are going to be a Prime Minister. So, I am preparing you ahead of time so that when you get there you will operate in mercy. You will show your enemies mercy. I know what I’m doing. I am working behind the scene. He told Daniel, I want to show you that I am your God and that there are people whom the lion cannot devour. I want you to know that you are one in the company of those that the enemy cannot destroy.

Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, I want to show you that I am the God that dwells amid the fire. When you walk through the fire, it shall not burn you. When you walk through the floods, it shall not overflow you. I don’t jump ships! When I say a thing, I stand by it. I am always behind my words.

To the Disciples of Jesus, as they experienced the storm, God’s response to the questions of their hearts must have been: Fear not! I am Lord over storms! I am Lord over waves! I walk upon waves! I walk upon trouble! I walk upon situations! I walk upon challenge!

You need to spend time to meditate on this God we serve. I want to assure you that whatever God has spoken concerning you will be accomplished. That promise will be fulfilled. The devil cannot stop it! I declare that sickness will not finish you. Your case is different! Diseases will not finish you! You will not be stranded! You will not be frustrated. The enemy will not eat your lunch. You will sing your song. You will yet be celebrated. And you will recover all. By the authority of heaven, I declare that you are going to have a massive testimony.

Seeds Of Destiny Devotional – Products Of Prayer

Seeds Of Destiny Devotional

Dunamis Seeds Of Destiny 30 August 2022 Devotional By Dr. Paul Enenche — Products Of Prayer

TOPIC: Products Of Prayer (Seeds Of Destiny 30 August 2022)

SCRIPTURE: Separate me Barnabas and Saul for the work whereunto I have called them. Acts 13:2

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: The altar of prayer is the altar of separation and consecration.

MESSAGE:

Prayer has been considered to be the backbone of every committed Christian. That is why a prayerless Christian lives a life of struggle.

Prayer is a spiritual process with tangible products both physically and spiritually.

Now, let me give you two products of prayer.
i. The altar of prayer is the altar of consecration.
Prayer separates a person from bad habits, friends, connections and associations. The place of prayer is the place of consecration. It is at the place of prayer that one’s stained garment can be cleansed to become white. The place of prayer is the place of consecration and sanctification.

When the disciples gathered together at the place of prayer, the Holy Ghost said, Separate me Barnabas and Saul for the work whereunto I have called them (Acts 13:2). So, Prayer brings separation from sin. The altar of prayer is the altar of separation and consecration.

iii. The altar of prayer is the altar of empowerment
It is not possible for a person to be prayerful and be powerless. The altar of prayer is the altar of empowerment for manifestation.

Luke 3:21-22 says, Now when all the people were baptized, it came to pass, that Jesus also being baptized, and praying, the heaven was opened, And the Holy Ghost descended in a bodily shape like a dove upon him, and a voice came from heaven, which said, Thou art my beloved Son; in thee I am well pleased.

When Jesus Christ was being baptised and was praying at the same time, the heavens opened and the Holy Ghost descended on Him. The altar of prayer is the altar of impartation. It is the altar of empowerment. You cannot be prayerful and be powerless.

Remember this: The altar of prayer is the altar of separation and consecration.

ASSIGNMENTS:

  1. Allow the ministry of prayer to cleanse and empower you for a successful living.
  2. Be intentional and consistent in prayer.

PRAYER: Lord, I ask that You separate me from every filthiness of life as I pray. I receive empowerment at the place of prayer, Lord, in Jesus’ Name.

QUOTE: Anytime activity exceeds spirituality then adversity is inevitable. Culled from “THOU ART MY BATTLE AXE” by Dr Paul Enenche.

DAILY BIBLE READING: Ezekiel 16-18.

AMAZING FACT: Dolphins have names for one another.

PROPHETIC WORD/DECLARATION: As you step up in prayer, every trace of weakness and powerlessness in your life gives way in Jesus’ Name.

DCLM Daily Manna – The Only True Gospel

Pastor W. F. Kumuyi

DCLM Daily Manna 30 August 2022 Devotional By Pastor W. F. Kumuyi — The Only True Gospel

TOPIC: The Only True Gospel (DCLM Daily Manna 30 August 2022)

TEXT: Galatians 1:1-9 (KJV)

1 Paul, an apostle, (not of men, neither by man, but by Jesus Christ, and God the Father, who raised him from the dead;)

2 And all the brethren which are with me, unto the churches of Galatia:

3 Grace be to you and peace from God the Father, and from our Lord Jesus Christ,

4 Who gave himself for our sins, that he might deliver us from this present evil world, according to the will of God and our Father:

5 To whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen.

6 I marvel that ye are so soon removed from him that called you into the grace of Christ unto another gospel:

7 Which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ.

8 But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed.

9 As we said before, so say I now again, if any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed.

KEY VERSE: “But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed” (Galatians 1:8).

MESSAGE:

Charles Spurgeon once said, “the spotless purity of truth must always be at war with the blackness of heresy and lies”. Another minister of God also said, “the most dangerous gospel is the one that looks like the real thing but is not”. The “gospel” which has “a form of godliness but [denies] the power thereof”, the “gospel” that cannot produce a real transformation of character wherein “old things are passed away (and) all things are become new” is not the gospel of Christ. That kind of “gospel” is fake.

Apostle Paul establishes the truth of his divine calling. He said he was an apostle, “not of men, neither by man, but by Jesus Christ, and God the Father”. He wondered that the Galatian believers were being seduced from Christ soon after their conversion “into another gospel”. He went on to place a great curse on anyone [including himself or an angel from heaven], that will preach any other gospel to them, except the true gospel of Christ that he had preached already to them. It was a sobering declaration.

The gospel of Christ is simple and straightforward. It is “that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures” (1 Corinthians 15:3, 4).

The life-changing gospel leads to true godliness and right relationship with God and eternal life. We must, therefore, take heed “lest any man spoil [us] through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men… and not after Christ. For in him dwelleth… the fulness of the Godhead bodily. And [we] are complete in him” (Colossians 2:8-10).

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY:
Only the gospel of Christ truly changes life and character.

TREM Devotional – Now What God?!

Dr. Mike Okonkwo TREM

Wisdom For The Day Devotional 29 August 2022 By Bishop Mike Okonkwo – Now What God?!

TOPIC: Now What God?! (TREM Devotional 29 August 2022)

“Many are the afflictions of the righteous: But the LORD delivereth him out of them all.” – Psalm 34:19 (KJV)

MESSAGE:

In life situations, there is every tendency to want to exclaim and ask God such questions as; Now What?! Remember the story of Esther and Mordecai in the book of Esther. I am sure Mordecai must have wondered and asked a question such as; Lord why should Haman be enabled to wipe out your people?

You know Haman hated your people and yet you enabled him, you armed him, and you watched him receive the mandate to wipe out your people.

Now what God?! It is the answer we all demanded from God at one point or the other. It is an exclamation of God we want you to explain this. When we are in your will, we praise, we dance, we rejoice, we celebrate, we give and then the enemy turns around and begins to bombard our lives, Now What God?!

Joseph simply mentioned the dream that God gave him to his brothers and he found himself sold naked into Egypt. And right there while still in the will of God, he ended up being in jail for obeying God. Joseph must have exclaimed: Now What God?! Did I ask you for a dream?

Daniel refused to obey the decree that prohibited prayers and he was thrown into the lion’s den. Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego refused to bow to the King’s idol and God was sitting down on the throne and watching them thrown into the fiery furnace, Now What God?!

In the book of Mark chapter 4, Jesus said to His Disciples, let’s pass through the water to the other side, I want you to go to the other side so that you can have a rest. And as they were going the big storm and waves began to rise about to destroy the entire ministry and they were bailing out water. Some or probably all of them must have exclaimed, Now what God?! You did not tell us that we are going to sink halfway.

Beloved, you can go ahead and ask your questions with exclamation Now What God?! But I want you to know that God is always in all encounters. He is never confused! He will never leave you in the storm. He will deliver you and perfect everything that concerns you.

Seeds Of Destiny Devotional – Refuse Societal Influences

Seeds Of Destiny Devotional

Dunamis Seeds Of Destiny 29 August 2022 Devotional By Dr. Paul Enenche — Refuse Societal Influences

TOPIC: Refuse Societal Influences (Seeds Of Destiny 29 August 2022)

SCRIPTURE: Do not follow the crowd in doing wrong. Exodus 23:2 (NIV).

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: To follow the dictates of society is to be lost with society.

MESSAGE:

Sometime ago, I heard that in a state in the United States of America, prisoners were not allowed to go into the prison with their belt because they might use it to hang themselves. So, the prison wardens made them remove their belt the moment they got into the prison. As a result of this, whenever they are released from the prison, their trousers would be left sagging as they make their way home.

When other persons, probably young people, saw them on the road in their saggy trousers, they began to emulate them as a dressing style and they called it “sagging”. Thus, these young people are inviting captivity and imprisonment to their lives even though they are neither criminals nor prisoners.

You see, this is the tragedy of our generation. Many people do not have the mind of their own. They always follow the dictates of society. And to follow the dictates of society is to be lost with society.

Beloved, the lady whose dressing you want to emulate may be a mermaid spirit carrier. There are satanic fashion designers who have been given an assignment to destroy the people of the world with indecent dressing and you are dressing like them to fulfil the ministry of the devil. We live in a world where everyone wants to be like everyone.

You know that God created you to be unique, and you must decide to be unique. Let the Word of God become your principal guide in life. Refuse to allow societal influence dictate your lifestyle.

Remember this: To follow the dictates of society is to be lost with society.

ASSIGNMENTS:

  1. Refuse to follow the crowd to do the wrong thing.
  2. Let the Word of God be your guide in life.

PRAYER: Lord, I refuse to follow the bandwagon of societal influences. I bring myself under the control of Your Word. I receive the grace to follow Your Word as my principal guide, Lord, in Jesus’ Name.

DCLM Daily Manna – The Neglected Prayer

Pastor W. F. Kumuyi

DCLM Daily Manna 29 August 2022 Devotional By Pastor W. F. Kumuyi — The Neglected Prayer

TOPIC: The Neglected Prayer (DCLM Daily Manna 29 August 2022)

TEXT: Matthew 9:35-38 (KJV)

35 And Jesus went about all the cities and villages, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing every sickness and every disease among the people.

36 But when he saw the multitudes, he was moved with compassion on them, because they fainted, and were scattered abroad, as sheep having no shepherd.

37 Then saith he unto his disciples, The harvest truly is plenteous, but the labourers are few;

38 Pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he will send forth labourers into his harvest.

KEY VERSE: “Then said he unto his disciples, The harvest truly is plenteous, but the labourers are few; Pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he will send forth labourers unto his harvest.” – (Matthew 9:37,38).

MESSAGE:

Prayer is perhaps the greatest privilege God gave to man. It is the only means by which fallen man can be reconnected with the holy God to make true fellowship and union possible once again. It is man’s opportunity to talk to God his Maker, bring his challenges to Him and receive solutions to them. Bible saints like Moses, David, Samuel, Daniel, Esther as well as contemporary saints like Jonathan Edwards, William Grimshaw, George Muller and John Hyde among others were great instruments in God’s hands through their prayer lives.

In our passage, the Lord Jesus Christ, in His usual manner, went everywhere preaching, teaching and healing the people. But when He saw the multitude, as “fainting and scattered” people, as sheep having no shepherd, He turned to His disciples, instructing them to pray to God to send more labourers to His harvest, because the work was much but the labourers few.

Christians are enjoined to pray “always with all prayer and supplication”, which includes prayers and intercession for all men (1 Timothy 2:1); prayer for “the peace of Jerusalem (our nation)” (Psalm 122:6); prayer for the leadership of the church (Romans 15:30), among others. But perhaps the most neglected prayer is the one to send more labourers to the harvest field.

The Church must pray and be fully involved in soul-winning. God needs more labourers in the field of souls. Let us pray and labour now, for the coming of the Lord is near; “the night cometh when no man can work” (John 9:4).

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY:
We must back our prayer up with preaching to balance the equation.

TREM Devotional – Pursue God’s Purpose For Your Life

Dr. Mike Okonkwo TREM

Wisdom For The Day Devotional 28 August 2022 By Bishop Mike Okonkwo – Pursue God’s Purpose For Your Life

TOPIC: Pursue God’s Purpose For Your Life (TREM Devotional 28 August 2022)

“By faith Moses, when he was come to years, refused to be called the son of Pharaoh’s daughter; choosing rather to suffer affliction with the people of God, than to enjoy the pleasures of sin for a season;” Hebrews 11:24-25 (KJV)

MESSAGE:

Beloved, you cannot be comfortable with your comfort zone any longer when you discover God’s purpose for your life. Moses, with all the comfort of Egypt still felt something was missing. When Moses discovered his purpose, he was not willing again to stay in Egypt and he exiled himself to the backside of the desert.

He was not willing any longer to continue doing anything in Egypt. Then he ran to the backside of the desert tending the father-in-law’s sheep.

He was satisfied with the tending of Jethro’s sheep and cattle but that was not God’s purpose for his life. And so, one day God came and revealed Himself to him, and Moses was literally drafted.

Moses never asked God to be called. He never asked to be the one to deliver God’s people. In fact, he gave all manner of excuses to God so that He can look somewhere else but God said, you are the one that will go to Pharaoh to bring deliverance to my people.

Pharaoh became a terrible taskmaster to God’s people after Moses delivered God’s mandate to him.

The children of Israel themselves told Moses when they were entangled between the Red sea and the chariots of Pharaoh that: you came to us and said God sent you to deliver us. You told us that God showed you diverse signs and wonders to give you assurance. You convinced us and we followed you, now look at what you have done. But God showed up supernaturally for Moses and the children of Israel because His plan and purpose can never be frustrated.

Sometimes when you don’t understand God’s purpose for your life, the tendency to ask questions and want to give up at the crossroads of life appears to be the only option. I encourage you never to give up. Keep standing until God’s purpose for your life is accomplished.

DCLM Daily Manna – You Are The Watchman

Pastor W. F. Kumuyi

DCLM Daily Manna 28 August 2022 Devotional By Pastor W. F. Kumuyi — You Are The Watchman

TOPIC: You Are The Watchman (DCLM Daily Manna 28 August 2022)

TEXT: Ezekiel 3:16-23 (KJV)

16 And it came to pass at the end of seven days, that the word of the Lord came unto me, saying,

17 Son of man, I have made thee a watchman unto the house of Israel: therefore hear the word at my mouth, and give them warning from me.

18 When I say unto the wicked, Thou shalt surely die; and thou givest him not warning, nor speakest to warn the wicked from his wicked way, to save his life; the same wicked man shall die in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at thine hand.

19 Yet if thou warn the wicked, and he turn not from his wickedness, nor from his wicked way, he shall die in his iniquity; but thou hast delivered thy soul.

20 Again, When a righteous man doth turn from his righteousness, and commit iniquity, and I lay a stumbling-block before him, he shall die: because thou hast not given him warning, he shall die in his sin, and his righteousness which he hath done shall not be remembered; but his blood will I require at thine hand.

21 Nevertheless if thou warn the righteous man, that the righteous sin not, and he doth not sin, he shall surely live, because he is warned; also thou hast delivered thy soul.

22 And the hand of the Lord was there upon me; and he said unto me, Arise, go forth into the plain, and I will there talk with thee.

23 Then I arose, and went forth into the plain: and, behold, the glory of the Lord stood there, as the glory which I saw by the river of Chebar: and I fell on my face.

KEY VERSE: “Son of man, I have made thee a watchman unto the house of Israel: therefore hear the word at my mouth, and give them warning from me” (Ezekiel 3:17)

MESSAGE:

The role of the watchman in ancient times is to warn the people of impending danger. While the watchman who warns of the physical danger is important, that of the spiritual is even more important. The spiritual watchman, the Christian, has the duty of warning men of the danger of not obeying the word of God and the damnation that follows it.

God called Ezekiel as a prophet-watchman over the house of Israel. He was to warn the wicked to turn away from his wickedness and the righteous to maintain his righteousness to avert God’s judgment. Failure to do so will leave the people without the necessary warnings and eventually bring God’s judgment upon them. And because they were not warned, God would require their blood, in his hands.

Today, every born again Christian is called, like Ezekiel to be a watchman to bring God’s message of love and judgment to all men through the gospel. Except this gospel message is preached, men will not hear; and if they do not hear, they cannot be saved. The Lord Himself had set the example as He “went about all Galilee, teaching…and preaching…and healing all manner of sickness” (Matthew 4:23). Apostle Paul said, “woe is unto me if I preach not the gospel” (1 Corinthians 9:16). John Knox prayed, “Lord, give me Scotland or else I die”. One prayer that was common during the days of William Seymour was, “Lord, this is another day that hell must lose men and women.” What is your prayer?

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: Be a dependable watchman by taking the gospel to the dying world.

THE BIBLE IN ONE YEAR:
Titus 1-3

Prayer Points:

  1. Confess to God areas you have failed in this respect and ask for forgiveness.
  2. Promise God that you will not disobey again the ministration of the Holy Spirit to minister to any of these groups.
  3. Ask God for spiritual sensitivity to be knowing those you should ministering to.
  4. Pray for restoration of all backsliders in the Church.

HYMN: Go and tell the story. (GHS 113)

Seeds Of Destiny Devotional – Friends And Family Outreach: A Modality For Soul Winning

Seeds Of Destiny Devotional

Dunamis Seeds Of Destiny 28 August 2022 Devotional By Dr. Paul Enenche — Friends And Family Outreach: A Modality For Soul Winning

TOPIC – Friends And Family Outreach: A Modality For Soul Winning (Seeds Of Destiny 28 August 2022)

SCRIPTURE: One of the two which heard John speak, and followed him, was Andrew, Simon Peter’s brother. He first findeth his own brother Simon, and saith unto him, We have found the Messias, which is, being interpreted, the Christ. And he brought him to Jesus. John 1:40-42.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: When God saves a person, He has the salvation of that person’s family members in mind.

MESSAGE:

God commanded us to win souls for the Kingdom. But there are methods and modalities to engage in winning souls.

Friends and Family Outreach is one method or modality for soul winning. This is reaching out and sharing the Good News of God with family members and friends. It is also called “Operation Andrew.”

You know, it was Andrew that brought Peter, his brother to Jesus. And Peter became the pillar of the early church. So, there are people you ignore now who are meant to be pillars in the Kingdom. This includes your siblings, friends, or relations. Andrew brought Peter to Jesus, and Peter was instrumental to the expansion of the Kingdom of God.

So, don’t ignore your family members. Don’t ignore your primary schoolmates, secondary schoolmates, university mates, or people who are close to you.

In Acts 11:13-14, Paul told the jailer, “…Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house.” Acts 16:31.

It is important to know that the man’s household was not there with him at the point Paul spoke to him. But Paul said to him, “…and thou shall be saved and your family members.” (Paraphrased)

This means, God saves one person in order to save a household. When God saves a person, He has the salvation of the person’s family members in mind. He saves a person in order to save his friends. He saves a person in order to save those who are connected to him.

Beloved, other people’s salvation are tied to your salvation. I have many colleagues and family members that God helped me to influence directly or indirectly. Friends and family outreach is a method of soul winning targeted at bringing loved ones to the saving knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Remember this: When God saves a person, He has the salvation of the person’s family members in mind.

ASSIGNMENTS:

  1. Reach out to your friends and family members and win them for God.
  2. You can even organise a birthday celebration solely to reach out to your friends and family members with the motive of preaching to them and winning them for Christ.

PRAYER: Lord, I receive Your grace to win my friends and family members for You. Help me not to neglect people who are close to me, Lord, in Jesus’ Name.

TREM Devotional – God Is A Revelation

Dr. Mike Okonkwo TREM

Wisdom For The Day Devotional 26 August 2022 By Bishop Mike Okonkwo – God Is A Revelation

TOPIC: God Is A Revelation (TREM Devotional 26 August 2022)

“Know that the Lord Himself is God; It is He who has made us, and not we ourselves; We are His people and the sheep of His pasture.” Psalms 100:3 (KJV)

MESSAGE:

God is not a subject! He is not a History or Geography that you learn in school. God is a revelation and we know Him when we follow on to know Him. God is God. He does what He wants, when He wants, with whom He wants it, and where He wants it. He cannot be hired! He cannot be fired. Ever before we came on the scene, He was already there. And so, you must learn to trust this God. Never come to a point where you think you have known everything about Him.

He is intentional and strategic. He is a God of purpose, plan, design, and objectivity. Everything He does is with precision. He is not confused! He is never distressed! He is not in any way stressed or worried.

As a matter of fact, the last time I checked, He is sitting down and laughing at the devil.

So, there is really nothing that the devil will pull that will stand against God’s plan for you. I can guarantee you that if God has spoken anything to you lately, be assured that it will come to pass. That’s why you are alive at such a time like this. Never quit, never cave in and never give up God’s word concerning you will surely come to pass.

When apostle Paul had an encounter on the road to Damascus, he found out that he really never knew Him when he was practicing his religion. His desire after that encounter was that he may know Him. Apostle Paul was a man who has been to the third heaven and seen mysteries that God never allowed Him to share until a particular time. This was a man who had encountered God in diverse ways and yet He was not satisfied.

He says: “that I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death;” (Philippians 3:10 KJV).

May the Lord give you a fresh revelation of Himself.

Seeds Of Destiny Devotional – Rescuing People From Hell

Seeds Of Destiny Devotional

Dunamis Seeds Of Destiny 26 August 2022 Devotional By Dr. Paul Enenche — Rescuing People From Hell

TOPIC: Rescuing People From Hell (Seeds Of Destiny 26 August 2022)

SCRIPTURE: The wicked shall be turned into hell, and all the nations that forget God. Psalm 9:17.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: You can pull people from hell to Heaven through soul winning.

MESSAGE:

The Scripture makes it clear that soul winning is an obligation of every child of God (1 Cor. 9:16).

Now, one reason why we must win souls is that the Salvation of souls is the rescue of multitudes from the torment of hellfire. When you are committed to the assignment of soul winning, you are on a rescue mission of liberating men from Hell to Heaven. You can pull people from Hell to Heaven through soul winning.

Psalm 9:17 says,
The wicked shall be turned into hell, and all the nations that forget God.

Hell is real! Heaven is also real! Hell is a place of unimaginable torment. Hell was not originally prepared for man but for satan.

Matthew 25:41 says,
Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels:

God’s servant Morris Cerullo of blessed memory once shared a vision he had. He said that he saw multitudes of people, who were living carelessly and aimlessly, walking on a straight line, and then they came to the brink of a deep gulf and before they realized what was happening, they had entered hellfire. He said he saw people trooping to hell en masse.

Can you imagine the tragic scenario above? This is the reason we need to win souls. The devil is doing a lot of overtime in our generation. There are people who are working for satan. There are many people preaching for satan right now. They convince people never to go to church. They gather people and disciple them to hellfire.

Beloved, we must wake up. We need to go out for souls in evangelism to rescue multitudes from the damnation of hell. You can start with your loved ones.

Remember this: You can pull people from Hell to Heaven through soul winning.

ASSIGNMENTS:

  1. Do not watch sinners go to hell without doing anything about their situation.
  2. Snatch souls from hell by preaching to them.

PRAYER: Lord, I ask that You give me the grace to snatch souls from hellfire by soul winning. I receive fresh zeal, passion, grace and discipline to win souls, Lord, in Jesus’ Name.

QUOTE: To make full proof of Ministry is to justify the reason why you left your profession to preach the Gospel. Culled from, “MAKING FULL PROOF OF MINISTRY” by Dr Paul Enenche.

DAILY BIBLE READING: Ezekiel 4-6.

AMAZING FACT: Women use both sides of the brain to respond to emotional experiences while men use just one

PROPHETIC WORD/DECLARATION: The Lord place a little portion of His Love and concern for mankind in your heart in this season in Jesus’ Name.

DCLM Daily Manna – Hiding From God?

Pastor W. F. Kumuyi

DCLM Daily Manna 26 August 2022 Devotional By Pastor W. F. Kumuyi — Hiding From God?

TOPIC: Hiding From God? (DCLM Daily Manna 26 August 2022)

TEXT: Jonah 1:1-17 (KJV)

1 Now the word of the Lord came unto Jonah the son of Amittai, saying,

2 Arise, go to Nineveh, that great city, and cry against it; for their wickedness is come up before me.

3 But Jonah rose up to flee unto Tarshish from the presence of the Lord, and went down to Joppa; and he found a ship going to Tarshish: so he paid the fare thereof, and went down into it, to go with them unto Tarshish from the presence of the Lord.

4 But the Lord sent out a great wind into the sea, and there was a mighty tempest in the sea, so that the ship was like to be broken.

5 Then the mariners were afraid, and cried every man unto his god, and cast forth the wares that were in the ship into the sea, to lighten it of them. But Jonah was gone down into the sides of the ship; and he lay, and was fast asleep.

6 So the shipmaster came to him, and said unto him, What meanest thou, O sleeper? arise, call upon thy God, if so be that God will think upon us, that we perish not.

7 And they said every one to his fellow, Come, and let us cast lots, that we may know for whose cause this evil is upon us. So they cast lots, and the lot fell upon Jonah.

8 Then said they unto him, Tell us, we pray thee, for whose cause this evil is upon us; What is thine occupation? and whence comest thou? what is thy country? and of what people art thou?

9 And he said unto them, I am an Hebrew; and I fear the Lord, the God of heaven, which hath made the sea and the dry land.

10 Then were the men exceedingly afraid, and said unto him. Why hast thou done this? For the men knew that he fled from the presence of the Lord, because he had told them.

11 Then said they unto him, What shall we do unto thee, that the sea may be calm unto us? for the sea wrought, and was tempestuous.

12 And he said unto them, Take me up, and cast me forth into the sea; so shall the sea be calm unto you: for I know that for my sake this great tempest is upon you.

13 Nevertheless the men rowed hard to bring it to the land; but they could not: for the sea wrought, and was tempestuous against them.

14 Wherefore they cried unto the Lord, and said, We beseech thee, O Lord, we beseech thee, let us not perish for this man’s life, and lay not upon us innocent blood: for thou, O Lord, hast done as it pleased thee.

15 So they took up Jonah, and cast him forth into the sea: and the sea ceased from her raging.

16 Then the men feared the Lord exceedingly, and offered a sacrifice unto the Lord, and made vows.

17 Now the Lord had prepared a great fish to swallow up Jonah. And Jonah was in the belly of the fish three days and three nights.

KEY VERSE: “But Jonah rose up to flee unto Tarshish from the presence of the LORD, and went down to Joppa; and he found a ship going to Tarshish: so he paid the fare thereof, and went down into it, to go with them unto Tarshish from the presence of the LORD” (Jonah 1:3).

MESSAGE:

In their fallen state, Adam and Eve thought the best thing they could do was to hide “themselves from the presence of the LORD God amongst the trees of the garden” (Genesis 3:8). Hundreds of years or perhaps thousands later, a prophet of God thought that the best way to avoid God and the task He gave him to do was “to flee unto Tarshish from the presence of the LORD”. Both parties were to later discover that no one could flee from God.

Jonah’s reluctance to go to Nineveh at God’s command might not be unconnected with the fact that Nineveh was the capital of an “enemy nation”. He paid the fare and was on his way to Tarshish, but God sent a tempest into the sea that shook the mariners to their wit’s end. They did all they could but the storm persisted until Jonah was thrown into the sea. That action ended the tempest and the mariners feared greatly and gave glory to God. Meanwhile, God had prepared a great fish to swallow Jonah who had to be in the whale’s belly for three days.

Jonah’s unwillingness and subsequent fleeing to Tarshish is condemnable. Today, many Christians have abandoned Christ’s mandate to “go… and preach the gospel to every creature” (Mark 16:15), and have fled to “Tarshish” of business, education or even idleness. The Lord is concerned about the salvation of all men. He wants us to “Occupy till [He] comes”. Abdicating the duty of preaching is sin.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY:
Soul-winning is a wise spiritual enterprise.

THE BIBLE IN ONE YEAR:
Habakkuk 1-3

Prayer Points:

  1. Let your word flush out all foolishness of selfwill from my life.
  2. Lord, break my heart and make me submissive to your will at all times.
  3. Let all hardness of heart be broken in my life.
  4. Lord, give all of us broken hearts as children.

HYMN: Unto Jesus I surrender. (GHS 92)

TREM Devotional – God Will Show Up For You

Dr. Mike Okonkwo TREM

Wisdom For The Day Devotional 25 August 2022 By Bishop Mike Okonkwo – God Will Show Up For You

TOPIC: God Will Show Up For You (TREM Devotional 25 August 2022)

“The wicked is snared by the transgression of his lips: But the just shall come out of trouble.” Proverbs 12:13 (KJV)

MESSAGE:

As long as you are in the will of God; serving God diligently and you are doing all you know to do, you are a prime target of the devil. The scripture says in Psalm 34:19 “Many are the afflictions of the righteous: but the LORD delivereth him out of them all.” I don’t care about how many afflictions you are encountering, one assurance I can give to you is that you will be delivered. You will not die in that affliction. You are going to stand tall. And you are coming out bigger, stronger, and better.

The book of Job chapter 14:1 declares: “Man that is born of a woman, is of few days, and full of trouble.” The Bible did not say that the trouble of man is few or little but full. The book of 2 Timothy 3:12 says: “Yea, all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution.” The Bible didn’t say all who are God-haters but it establishes the fact that those who will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution.

There are things they will suffer! There are challenges they will go through! There are bridges they will cross! There are floods that they will go through! And there is fire they will go through. So we must be very careful never to put God in a box. We must leave God in His exclusive class because He is God and you are not. He moves even amid chaos. He knows how to show up in crisis. So, don’t be afraid! God will show up for you in times of crisis.

He showed up right from creation. “In the beginning, God created heaven and the earth. And the earth was without form and void, and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters. And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.” (Genesis 1:1-3 KJV).

In times of challenges, when you cannot trace God, put your trust in Him. He will come through for you.

He will never leave you nor forsake you.
