Seeds Of Destiny Devotional – Do Not Be Married To Your Mistakes

Seeds Of Destiny Devotional

Dunamis Seeds Of Destiny 7 July 2022 Devotional By Dr. Paul Enenche: Do Not Be Married To Your Mistakes

TOPIC: Do Not Be Married To Your Mistakes (Seeds Of Destiny 7 July 2022)

SCRIPTURE: Thus saith the Lord, Stand ye in the ways, and see, and ask for the old paths, where is the good way, and walk therein, and ye shall find rest for your souls. But they said, We will not walk therein. Jeremiah 6:16.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: Every time there is a “mis-take” where possible, there can be a “re-take”.

MESSAGE:

In life, when people are married to mistakes, they continue to deliver regrets. There are people who want to remain married to their mistakes. They said to themselves: “I have already made the mistake. I must remain in it. What would people say if I made a U-turn? Will they not say that I am confused?”

And so, they remain in what is wrong and continue to deliver regrets for life. That will never be your portion, in Jesus’ Name.

Beloved, refuse to be married to your mistakes. Always be sensitive to the leading of the Spirit.

For example, you are to go on a journey, and at the motor park, you already paid the bus fare, but suddenly you have a leading in your spirit that you are not meant to go on that journey. So you ask the driver to give you back your money, but he refuses to refund your money because, according to him, you have taken another person’s space. In that case, you don’t say, “I can’t return home like that. Let me just go on the journey since I have paid the fare”. That is disaster!

What to do is, make a U-turn. This is because you don’t know what is ahead of you that God is trying to shield you from. It is better to lose the bus fare than to lose your life before time. That will not be your portion, in Jesus’ Name. So, it takes meekness to make a U-turn.

Beloved, every time there is a “mis-take” where possible, there can be a “re-take”. If you “mis-take” it, you can “re-take” it. If you missed the “take”, you can repeat the “take”. Don’t be sentimentally attached to any wrong or mistaken course of action simply because you have gone far in it; make a U-turn when necessary.

REMEMBER THIS: Every time there is a “mis-take” where possible, there can be a “re-take”.

ASSIGNMENTS:

  1. Retrace your steps when you take wrong steps in life.
  2. Always be sensitive in the Spirit to avoid taking wrong steps.

PRAYER: Lord, I ask for the grace to correct my past mistakes. Help me to be sensitive to Your leading, Lord, in Jesus’ Name.

FOR FURTHER UNDERSTANDING, GET THIS MESSAGE: POSTURE (POSITIONING) FOR DIVINE DIRECTION (PART 1)

QUOTE: A proud person is arrogant, unable to learn, never accepts mistakes. Culled from “WHO ARE YOU?” by Dr Paul Enenche.

DAILY BIBLE READING: Proverbs 28-30.

AMAZING FACT: Foxes have excellent hearing. Red foxes can reportedly hear a watch ticking 40 yards away!

PROPHETIC WORD/DECLARATION: The grace for a U-turn is released in Jesus’ Name.

DCLM Daily Manna – Conquering Curses

Pastor W. F. Kumuyi

DCLM Daily Manna 7 July 2022 Devotional By Pastor W. F. Kumuyi — Conquering Curses

TOPIC: Conquering Curses (DCLM Daily Manna 7 July 2022)

TEXT: Joshua 19:1-9 (KJV)

1 And the second lot came forth to Simeon, even for the tribe of the children of Simeon according to their families: and their inheritance was within the inheritance of the children of Judah.

2 And they had in their inheritance Beersheba, and Sheba, and Moladah,

3 And Hazarshual, and Balah, and Azem,

4 And Eltolad, and Bethul, and Hormah,

5 And Ziklag, and Bethmarcaboth, and Hazarsusah,

6 And Bethlebaoth, and Sharuhen; thirteen cities and their villages:

7 Ain, Remmon, and Ether, and Ashan; four cities and their villages:

8 And all the villages that were round about these cities to Baalathbeer, Ramath of the south. This is the inheritance of the tribe of the children of Simeon according to their families.

9 Out of the portion of the children of Judah was the inheritance of the children of Simeon: for the part of the children of Judah was too much for them: therefore the children of Simeon had their inheritance within the inheritance of them.

KEY VERSE: “Out of the portion of the children of Judah was the inheritance of the children of Simeon: for the part of the children of Judah was too much for them: therefore the children of Simeon had their inheritance within the inheritance of them” (Joshua 19:9).

MESSAGE:

It has been claimed that the last words of a dying old man often attract attention and carry the weight of credibility. His children and other relatives would gather around to hear him speak words of wisdom and hope needed to face a future without him. So, Jacob, at the point of death at an old age of 147 years, summoned his children and gave them parting words. Of concern in our text is the tribe of Simeon, which fell under Jacob’s curse.

The tribe would be scattered among the tribes of Israel, according to the curse. This was fulfilled in the days of Joshua who gave Simeon an inheritance within Judah’s. As it was the task of each tribe to conquer the inhabitants of its allotted tract of land, Judah sought the help of Simeon to accomplish the work. That was how the children of Simeon were included in the tribe of Judah. Bible scholars say after the Simeonites were absorbed by Judah, they began to live in several towns and surrounding pasturelands.

God was gracious to Simeon that He moved Joshua to include his descendants among those to benefit from the territories of the Promised Land despite Jacob’s curse and omission in Moses’ farewell blessings on the children of Israel in Deuteronomy 33. The kindness of God showed up for Simeon when Moses blessed the people and mentioned him as one of the tribes to cross Jordan.

Purchased through the shed blood of Jesus Christ, believers are free from the curse of sin. They are free from the cultic utterances of evil personalities. When sinners embrace Christ and remain with Him all their lives without compromising, they become “free from the law of sin and death” (Romans 8:2).

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY:
Christ is the cure for curses.

THE BIBLE IN ONE YEAR:
GENESIS 21-23

Prayer Points:

  1. Give praises to God that Jesus has delivered you from all curses by His blood.
  2. Yield and surrender your life to God and ask Him to take over and rule your life.
  3. Ask Him to uproot and neutralise any resemblance of curses in your life and family and ask for your blessings to start manifesting.
  4. Pray that God will use the coming crusade to deal and delete all forms of appearance of curses in the lives of all participants.

HYMN: Turn your eyes upon Jesus. (GHS 7)

TREM Devotional – Your Victory Is Guaranteed

Dr. Mike Okonkwo TREM

Wisdom For The Day Devotional 6 July 2022 By Bishop Mike Okonkwo – Your Victory Is Guaranteed

TOPIC: Your Victory Is Guaranteed (TREM Devotional 6 July 2022)

“And he stood and cried unto the armies of Israel, and said unto them, Why are ye come out to set your battle in array? am not I a Philistine, and ye servants to Saul? choose you a man for you, and let him come down to me. If he be able to fight with me and to kill me, then will we be your servants: but if I prevail against him, and kill him, then shall ye be our servants, and serve us.” 1 Samuel 17:8-9 (KJV)

MESSAGE:

In the story of David and Goliath, you will notice that Goliath was careful to tell Saul and his army, I don’t need all of you to fight. He said the way we fight this battle: we don’t need everyone in the field. He said give me your champion and let him come and face me. I am the champion for the Philistines. If your champion defeats me, we will surrender to all of you. But if I defeat your champion, all of you will surrender to us. That is the rule of engagement. That has always been God’s modus operandi. The devil pulled that one when he made Adam fall.

And so the scripture tells us very clearly that: “…by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:” (Romans 5:12). And by the same token, it has to take another man to bring redemption, deliverance, and victory to man. And that man is Jesus.

So, Goliath requested saying, let your champion come. Give me a man! And the children of Israel were all hiding because there was no man. He was so confident in himself. He was so arrogant believing that the children of Israel were finished. But David, a type of Jesus, showed up, confronted Goliath, and won a great victory for Israel. No power can stop you. Jesus, our representative has won the victory on our behalf. He has defeated the devil. Our part is to take the spoils, just like the Israelites did after David defeated Goliath.

The devil is a defeated foe. No matter what the devil has packaged against you, your victory is guaranteed in Christ. You cannot be stranded. As hell could not stop Jesus nothing can stop you.

Seeds Of Destiny Devotional – The Tragedy Of The Bankruptcy Of Meekness

Seeds Of Destiny Devotional

Dunamis Seeds Of Destiny 6 July 2022 Devotional By Dr. Paul Enenche: The Tragedy Of The Bankruptcy Of Meekness

TOPIC: The Tragedy Of The Bankruptcy Of Meekness (Seeds Of Destiny 6 July 2022)

SCRIPTURE: The meek will he guide in judgment: and the meek will he teach his way. Psalms 25:9.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: It is bankruptcy of meekness when people refuse to make a U-turn when they realised they have made a wrong move.

MESSAGE:

It has been established that one quality of meekness is the ability to make a U-turn when a wrong move has been made.

On the other hand, it is bankruptcy of meekness when people refuse to make a U-turn when they realised they have made a wrong move.

For example, there are people who started a marital relationship, and after one week of interacting with the person, it became clear to them that they were with the wrong person.

God seemed to be telling them, “This young lady cannot be your wife. This young man cannot be your husband”, but they would not listen. They decide to go on in the relationship like the ox going to be slaughtered. They would continue in the relationship to the detriment of their life and destiny.

Every single day of their lives reminded them that they were with the wrong person, yet they said, “I have wasted too much time. I have been single for a long time. Let me just marry this person. And even if the marriage doesn’t work, at least, let people know that I had once been married”. Now, that is a highway to bitter regret!

Very pathetic! They went on to marry the person despite the signs and signals God gave them.

Beloved, are you in such a situation right now? The wedding card may be out, but what is wedding card compared to your destiny?

Please refuse to be bankrupt of meekness. Make a U-turn whenever you discover you have made a wrong move.

Remember this: It is bankruptcy of meekness when people refuse to make a U-turn when they realised they have made a wrong move.

ASSIGNMENTS:

  1. Refuse to be bankrupt of meekness.
  2. Make up your mind to make a U-turn whenever you make a wrong move.

PRAYER: Lord, deliver me from making wrong turns in life. If there is any wrong move I have already made, I receive the grace to make a U-turn, Lord, in Jesus’ Name.

FOR FURTHER UNDERSTANDING, GET THIS MESSAGE: POSTURE (OR POSITIONING) FOR DIVINE DIRECTION (PART 1).

QUOTE: You could also be defiled by pride and arrogance. Some people are as ostentatious as a peacock. And you know pride reminds God about Satan. It is a defilement of the spirit. Culled from “WHO ARE YOU?” by Dr Paul Enenche.

DAILY BIBLE READING: Proverbs 25-27.

AMAZING FACT: An adult Hippo needs to resurface every 3 – 5mins to breathe. The process of surfacing and breathing is automatic, and even a hippo sleeping underwater will rise and breathe without waking.

PROPHETIC WORD/DECLARATION: Receive the grace to be sensitive in the Spirit in Jesus’ Name.

DCLM Daily Manna – Mastering Your Circumstances

Pastor W. F. Kumuyi

DCLM Daily Manna 6 July 2022 Devotional By Pastor W. F. Kumuyi — Mastering Your Circumstances

TOPIC: Mastering Your Circumstances (DCLM Daily Manna 6 July 2022)

TEXT: Proverbs 20:1-15 (KJV)

1 Wine is a mocker, strong drink is raging: and whosoever is deceived thereby is not wise.

2 The fear of a king is as the roaring of a lion: whoso provoketh him to anger sinneth against his own soul.

3 It is an honour for a man to cease from strife: but every fool will be meddling.

4 The sluggard will not plow by reason of the cold; therefore shall he beg in harvest, and have nothing.

5 Counsel in the heart of man is like deep water; but a man of understanding will draw it out.

6 Most men will proclaim every one his own goodness: but a faithful man who can find?

7 The just man walketh in his integrity: his children are blessed after him.

8 A king that sitteth in the throne of judgment scattereth away all evil with his eyes.

9 Who can say, I have made my heart clean, I am pure from my sin?

10 Divers weights, and divers measures, both of them are alike abomination to the Lord.

11 Even a child is known by his doings, whether his work be pure, and whether it be right.

12 The hearing ear, and the seeing eye, the Lord hath made even both of them.

13 Love not sleep, lest thou come to poverty; open thine eyes, and thou shalt be satisfied with bread.

14 It is naught, it is naught, saith the buyer: but when he is gone his way, then he boasteth.

15 There is gold, and a multitude of rubies: but the lips of knowledge are a precious jewel.

KEY VERSE: “The sluggard will not plow by reason of the cold; therefore shall he beg in harvest, and have nothing. Love not sleep, lest thou come to poverty; open thine eyes, and thou shalt be satisfied with bread” (Proverbs 20:4, 13).

MESSAGE:

There is a two-way relationship between God and man reflecting the quintessential love of the Creator towards human beings. The deal sees Him put in place, an environment fit for habitation. Around man, there are rich and limitless resources to exploit for his good. The Lord has also kitted man with vast intelligence to apply in benefiting from this abundance. God requires that as He has played His part in providing these essentials, man must complete the equation by “dressing the garden and keeping it”.

King Solomon’s take suggests that it is dangerous and disastrous to be complacent about God’s endowments. Man must not use his God-given wealth to engage in drunkenness. This calls for temperance that should also apply to how he honours constituted authority, family and neighbours. In the perfect environment provided by his Creator, man is not expected to give himself to undue control by the weather that may lead to too much sleep and poverty.

In God’s order, it is abomination to do fraudulent business, because it is not compatible with the lifestyle of the Lord’s saints. Solomon says the Lord is also seeking parents who will pass on the virtue of integrity to their offspring. There is need, likewise, for judges who will deliver the just from the oppression of the wicked.

While the Lord has given man all he requires to succeed, He expects him to take maximum advantage of the grace at his disposal to be disciplined in the use of his wealth, time, skills, liberty, education, etc. Those who surrender to Jesus as Lord and Saviour must, in turn, surrender all these for God’s use and the advancement of His Kingdom.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY:
Partnership with heaven is sacrificial stewardship.

THE BIBLE IN ONE YEAR:
Genesis 17-20

Prayer Points:

  1. Lord, write all these words of wisdom in my heart.
  2. Give me more love for wisdom and make me to be increasing in wisdom.
  3. Lord, knock off every forms of foolishness hidden in my being.
  4. Lord, let your word we are hearing be ejecting every form of folly from our mindset.

HYMN: Lord speak to me.

TREM Devotional – You Have God On Your Side

Dr. Mike Okonkwo TREM

Wisdom For The Day Devotional 5 July 2022 By Bishop Mike Okonkwo – You Have God On Your Side

TOPIC: You Have God On Your Side (TREM Devotional 5 July 2022)

“And David spake to the men that stood by him, saying, What shall be done to the man that killeth this Philistine, and taketh away the reproach from Israel? for who is this uncircumcised Philistine, that he should defy the armies of the living God?” 1 Samuel 17:26 (KJV)

MESSAGE:

In the book of 1 Peter5:8, the scripture says: “Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion…” He is not the Lion of the tribe of Judah. He is as a roaring lion. So, when he is roaring, pay no attention to him. Just focus on the word of God.

Goliath roared continuously against the armies of Israel for forty days and they went into hiding. Forty is the number of judgement. And here comes a young man, David, who knows his covenant with God. He understood that once you have a covenant with God, nothing can defeat you.

He stepped on the scene, heard Goliath boasting, and said: who is this? Who is this uncircumcised Philistine, that he should defy the armies of the living God? Everyone was shocked because he was only 17 years old. You see, it is not about how old you are, it is about the relationship you have with God and how connected you are with Him. At the backside of the desert, David had developed a powerful and robust relationship with God. He understood that God will always fight his battle. He challenged Goliath to a duel, though king Saul, his brothers, and many others said he had no chance of defeating Goliath.

Beloved, if God be for you, no one can prevail against you? All you need is God on your side. It’s not about what people say. It is about God being on your side. You have God on your side. He will never leave you and He will never forsake you. He will stand by you. He will jump into the boat with you, anywhere you go. He will be with you morning, afternoon, and night. He will be with you in your challenges. He will be with you in your difficulties. He will never leave you nor forsake you. His presence will make a difference even in every situation.

Seeds Of Destiny Devotional – Christ’s Sacrifice And Death On The Cross – A Basis For Divine Health

Seeds Of Destiny Devotional

Dunamis Seeds Of Destiny 5 July 2022 Devotional By Dr. Paul Enenche: Christ’s Sacrifice And Death On The Cross – A Basis For Divine Health

TOPIC: Christ’s Sacrifice And Death On The Cross – A Basis For Divine Health (Seeds Of Destiny 5 July 2022)

SCRIPTURE: Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted. But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed. Isaiah 53:4-5.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: The Cross of Calvary was a junction of exchange where Christ took what we had and gave us what He had.

MESSAGE:

In a world of multiple afflictions of sicknesses and diseases where the devil is doing a lot of overtime to put people in the bondage of sin and sickness, it is very important to know that it is possible to stay healthy.

One way to escape the escalating calamity of sickness and disease of this present age is to know the Scriptural basis for Divine Health. This is very important because your revelation determines your health and vitality (Prov. 4:20-22). What you know determines how you live in health and vitality. There must be a depth of the knowledge of the Scriptural Basis for Divine Health to stay healthy.

Now, one basis for living and walking in Divine health is:
The Sacrifice and Death of Jesus Christ at the Cross of Calvary
I would like you to understand that the Cross of Calvary was a junction of exchange where Christ took what we had and gave us what He had.

Beloved, there are many people who carry the Cross or look at the Cross but do not know what the Cross stands for or symbolizes. It is very important to know that the Cross of Calvary was a junction of exchange where Christ took all our infirmity and gave us His Divine Health. All the negative things in us which were inherited through the Adamic blood and nature were exchanged with all the positive things Christ has at the Cross of Calvary.

Remember this: The Cross of Calvary was a junction of exchange where Christ took what we had and gave us what He had.

ASSIGNMENTS:

  1. Go through today’s message once again.
  2. Make demands on the Power of the Cross for the healing of your body.

PRAYER: Thank You Lord for Your Word to me today. I make demands on the Power of the Cross of Calvary for the healing of every infirmity and weakness in my life, Lord, in Jesus’ Name.

DCLM Daily Manna – God Cares For All

Pastor W. F. Kumuyi

DCLM Daily Manna 5 July 2022 Devotional by Pastor W. F. Kumuyi — God Cares For All

TOPIC: God Cares For All (DCLM Daily Manna 5 July 2022)

TEXT: Joshua 18:11-20 (KJV)

11 And the lot of the tribe of the children of Benjamin came up according to their families: and the coast of their lot came forth between the children of Judah and the children of Joseph.

12 And their border on the north side was from Jordan; and the border went up to the side of Jericho on the north side, and went up through the mountains westward; and the goings out thereof were at the wilderness of Bethaven.

13 And the border went over from thence toward Luz, to the side of Luz, which is Bethel, southward; and the border descended to Atarothadar, near the hill that lieth on the south side of the nether Bethhoron.

14 And the border was drawn thence, and compassed the corner of the sea southward, from the hill that lieth before Bethhoron southward; and the goings out thereof were at Kirjathbaal, which is Kirjathjearim, a city of the children of Judah: this was the west quarter.

15 And the south quarter was from the end of Kirjathjearim, and the border went out on the west, and went out to the well of waters of Nephtoah:

16 And the border came down to the end of the mountain that lieth before the valley of the son of Hinnom, and which is in the valley of the giants on the north, and descended to the valley of Hinnom, to the side of Jebusi on the south, and descended to Enrogel,

17 And was drawn from the north, and went forth to Enshemesh, and went forth toward Geliloth, which is over against the going up of Adummim, and descended to the stone of Bohan the son of Reuben,

18 And passed along toward the side over against Arabah northward, and went down unto Arabah:

19 And the border passed along to the side of Bethhoglah northward: and the outgoings of the border were at the north bay of the salt sea at the south end of Jordan: this was the south coast.

20 And Jordan was the border of it on the east side. This was the inheritance of the children of Benjamin, by the coasts thereof round about, according to their families.

KEY VERSE: “And the lot of the tribe of the children of Benjamin came up according to their families: and the coast of their lot came forth between the children of Judah and the children of Joseph.” – (Joshua 18:11)

MESSAGE:

A little group of missionaries sailed the oceans from the Western Hemisphere to preach the gospel of Christ in Africa, and in a couple of decades, thriving assemblies of believers cropped up all over the continent. World history is replete with little beginnings becoming great when left under the uninterrupted watch of the Almighty.

The tribe of Benjamin, known as “the smallest of the tribes of Israel”, was divinely gifted with rich resources as land was allotted to the Israelites when they took up occupancy of the Promised Land. The Benjamites got a territory that lay between the tribes of Judah and Joseph, two powerful neighbours they could depend on for spiritual and economic relationships. Within the land of Benjamin were the famous cities of Jerusalem, Jericho, Bethel and Ramah among others. There has always been mention of these renowned territories in relation to noteworthy events and the eminent personalities behind them. We remember the exploits of Jacob at Bethel. There is also Samuel the seer whose home was in Ramah, from where he judged Israel and built an altar to the Lord.

The New Testament also has revealing records of our Lord Jesus Christ performing monumental miracles in Jerusalem and Jericho.

God specialises in transforming what is despised into what is dignifying, when left in His care. He changes the penitent sinner into a conquering saint. These last days, the Lord is also waiting to deliver a humanity made little by the curse of sin.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY:
In God’s service, the little metamorphoses into the mighty.

THE BIBLE IN ONE YEAR:
Genesis 14-16

Prayer Points:

  1. Praise God for the purchased inheritance God already has for you on earth and in heaven with your name attached to them.
  2. Ask God to help you to discover and act on those blessings and promises with your name attached.
  3. Pray that God will help you to rise to the challenge of building on those blessings for your good and for the world.
  4. Ask God to help all the brethren never to waste or bury what God has already provided for them.

Seeds Of Destiny Devotional – The Quality Of Meekness: A Posture For Divine Direction

Seeds Of Destiny Devotional

Dunamis Seeds Of Destiny 4 July 2022 Devotional By Dr. Paul Enenche – The Quality Of Meekness: A Posture For Divine Direction

TOPIC – The Quality Of Meekness: A Posture For Divine Direction (Seeds Of Destiny 4 July 2022)

SCRIPTURE: The meek will he guide in judgment: and the meek will he teach his way. Psalms 25:9.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: To be meek is to hear God.

MESSAGE:

The Scripture makes it clear that the quality of meekness is a posture for accessing Divine Direction.

Psalms 25:9 says,
The meek will he guide in judgment: and the meek will he teach his way.

The meek is the only one qualified for God’s guidance, not the proud and arrogant. The meek is the only one qualified to be taught the ways of God.

Now, what does meekness refer to?
a. Meekness refers to the ability to be taught.
Meekness is teachability. To be meek is to be teachable.

b. Meekness refers to the ability to be corrected.
The willingness to be corrected is a proof of meekness. The arrogant would not like to be corrected.

c. Meekness refers to the ability to make a U-turn when you realise you have made a wrong turn.
Meek people possess the ability to make a U-turn when they realise they have made a wrong turn.

Please take note of this: the reason there is so much frustration in the world today is because meek people are scarce.

In the days of Moses, no one saw God like him. No one heard God like Moses in his days. God spoke to him mouth to mouth as a person would speak to his friend (Numbers 12:6-8).

Now, what qualified Moses for that level of hearing God?
Numbers 12:3 gives us the answer:
Now the man Moses was very meek, above all the men which were upon the face of the earth.

Moses was very meek above all the men on the face of the earth in his generation, and he heard God more than everyone else in his generation. So, to be meek is to hear God.

Remember this: To be meek is to hear God.

ASSIGNMENTS:

  1. Reject and fight every spirit of pride and arrogance.
  2. Make the decision to be meek so you can access the Ears of God.

PRAYER: Lord, I ask that You clothe me with the garment of meekness. I reject every trace of pride and arrogance in my life, Lord, in Jesus’ Name.

DCLM Daily Manna – Between Law And Love

Pastor W. F. Kumuyi

DCLM Daily Manna 4 July 2022 Devotional By Pastor W. F. Kumuyi — Between Law And Love

TOPIC: Between Law And Love (DCLM Daily Manna 4 July 2022)

TEXT: Luke 13:11-22 (KJV)

11 And, behold, there was a woman which had a spirit of infirmity eighteen years, and was bowed together, and could in no wise lift up herself.

12 And when Jesus saw her, he called her to him, and said unto her, Woman, thou art loosed from thine infirmity.

13 And he laid his hands on her: and immediately she was made straight, and glorified God.

14 And the ruler of the synagogue answered with indignation, because that Jesus had healed on the sabbath day, and said unto the people, There are six days in which men ought to work: in them therefore come and be healed, and not on the sabbath day.

15 The Lord then answered him, and said, Thou hypocrite, doth not each one of you on the sabbath loose his ox or his ass from the stall, and lead him away to watering?

16 And ought not this woman, being a daughter of Abraham, whom Satan hath bound, lo, these eighteen years, be loosed from this bond on the sabbath day?

17 And when he had said these things, all his adversaries were ashamed: and all the people rejoiced for all the glorious things that were done by him.

18 Then said he, Unto what is the kingdom of God like? and whereunto shall I resemble it?

19 It is like a grain of mustard seed, which a man took, and cast into his garden; and it grew, and waxed a great tree; and the fowls of the air lodged in the branches of it.

20 And again he said, Whereunto shall I liken the kingdom of God?

21 It is like leaven, which a woman took and hid in three measures of meal, till the whole was leavened.

22 And he went through the cities and villages, teaching, and journeying toward Jerusalem.

KEY VERSE: “And the ruler of the synagogue answered with indignation, because that Jesus had healed on the sabbath day, and said unto the people, There are six days in which men ought to work: in them therefore come and be healed, and not on the sabbath day” (LUKE 13:14).

 MESSAGE:

It is amazing how people have allowed the strict observance of the law to make them miss connection with God and people. Blinded by the legalistic demands of the law, many fail to see the true needs of others and reach out to them in love.

The Pharisees and the Jewish leaders allowed themselves to become so blinded by the law that they lost human sympathy. Jesus, in our text, was present in their synagogue on a Sabbath day. In His love for humanity, He reached out to heal a poor woman who suffered affliction for thirty-eight years. The ruler of the synagogue was infuriated by this. He preferred that she remained in her bondage than get healed on a Sabbath day. Jesus, however, saw into his hypocrisy and envy and rebuked him for it.

How many seekers have we turned away from our churches because they failed to conform to our perceived understanding of what constitutes proper Christian dressing? How about those we condemned and failed to help just because they do not conform to our denominational practices? Blinded by religious zeal, we fail to see human needs.

We cannot be more righteous and law abiding than Jesus. Yet, He never failed to help those who truly needed it. Matthew the publican, Zacchaeus and the woman caught in adultery all received mercy and forgiveness from Him. He reached out to everyone. How we need to be like Jesus by reaching out to and connecting with people who are really in need instead of remaining restricted and tied by the dead letters of the law.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY:
Only by love can we fulfil the law.

THE BIBLE IN ONE YEAR:
Genesis 11-13

Prayer Points:

  1. Lord, I hereby open up my heart to more understanding of the spirit of your word.
  2. Let the principle of the law of love be written boldly in my heart.
  3. Lord, give me perfected love for you and for others.
  4. Lord, let the love of God and man be deepened in the hearts of your children.

HYMN: Let others see Jesus in you

Seeds Of Destiny Devotional – The Power Of The Blessing

Seeds Of Destiny Devotional

Dunamis Seeds Of Destiny 3 July 2022 Devotional By Dr. Paul Enenche: The Power Of The Blessing

TOPIC: The Power Of The Blessing (Seeds Of Destiny 3 July 2022)

SCRIPTURE: And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth. Genesis 1:28.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: When the Blessing of God is upon you, scarcity is a stranger to your life.

MESSAGE:

Genesis Chapter One, and in verse Twenty-Eight makes it clear that one primary thing God gave to man (Adam) for the fulfilment of destiny was the Blessing. It was not money God gave to Adam at the beginning but the Blessing. This means, the Blessing is a powerful tool for the processing of man unto greatness in life.

What then is the power of the Blessing?

  1. The Blessing positions the blessed in realms of abundance and greatness (Gen. 12:1-3)
When the Blessing of God is upon you, scarcity is a stranger to your life; when the Blessing of God is upon you, littleness is an abomination.
  2. The Blessing positions the blessed in realms of authority and dominion (Gen. 1:28)
The endpoint of the blessing is dominion. Genesis 1:28 says,
And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion…
When you start with the Blessing, you end with dominion.
  3. The Blessing establishes a leadership mandate on the life of the blessed (Gen. 1:28).
The Blessing makes leaders out of ordinary people. This means, the Blessing puts the blessed in command. In a family or in an office, the Blessed is always in command in all areas. As long as you are blessed, you must take the lead. Whatever makes you to be blessed puts you in front.

Today, by the apostolic mantle of fire on my life, I delete every ancestral, generational curse working against your life. I set on fire every altar powering any curse on your life. I release the Blessing of God on you in Jesus Name.

Remember this: When the Blessing of God is upon you, scarcity is a stranger to your life.

ASSIGNMENTS:

  1. Go through today’s message again.
  2. Make demands on God for the establishment of the Blessing in your life.
  3. Determine to be diligent in your covenant practice.

PRAYER: Lord, I receive the grace to be consistent in my covenant practices for the opening of the heavens over my life, Lord in Jesus’ Name.

DCLM Daily Manna – Repent Or Perish

Pastor W. F. Kumuyi

DCLM Daily Manna 3 July 2022 Devotional By Pastor W. F. Kumuyi — Repent Or Perish

TOPIC: Repent Or Perish (DCLM Daily Manna 3 July 2022)

TEXT: Luke 13:1-10 (KJV)

1 There were present at that season some that told him of the Galilaeans, whose blood Pilate had mingled with their sacrifices.

2 And Jesus answering said unto them, Suppose ye that these Galilaeans were sinners above all the Galilaeans, because they suffered such things?

3 I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish.

4 Or those eighteen, upon whom the tower in Siloam fell, and slew them, think ye that they were sinners above all men that dwelt in Jerusalem?

5 I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish.

6 He spake also this parable; A certain man had a fig tree planted in his vineyard; and he came and sought fruit thereon, and found none.

7 Then said he unto the dresser of his vineyard, Behold, these three years I come seeking fruit on this fig tree, and find none: cut it down; why cumbereth it the ground?

8 And he answering said unto him, Lord, let it alone this year also, till I shall dig about it, and dung it:

9 And if it bear fruit, well: and if not, then after that thou shalt cut it down.

10 And he was teaching in one of the synagogues on the sabbath.

KEY VERSE: “I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish” (Luke 13:3).

MESSAGE:

Tragedy struck in a particular family. A man who happens to be the only child of his parents got married; the marriage also produced one child – a girl. While they were returning from their daughter’s convocation, there was a fatal accident which claimed the lives of the lady and her parents. Some people began to question why God allowed such calamity. They failed to understand that not all tragedies should be equated with divine punishment. Certain things happen to remind us of the brevity and unpredictability of life and the need to amend our ways before death calls.

In our text, some people had gone to Jesus to complain of the evil deeds of Governor Pilate who had killed some worshippers. Christ’s response was both surprising and revealing. They might not have been the worst sinners in Galilee to have suffered such things. Also, the eighteen upon whom the tower of Siloam fell and killed might not necessarily have been the worst sinners in Jerusalem. He also gave a parable of the unfruitful fig tree which must be cut down for failing to bear fruits.

One needs not be the worst sinner to fall a victim of circumstances. The only place of security therefore is in Christ, entered through repentance from sin and faith in His finished work. Believers who are not bearing fruits only “cumbereth… the ground”, and risk condemnation by the Lord. Such are admonished to “Bring forth therefore fruits meet for repentance… every tree which bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire” (Matthew 3:8-10).

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY:
Bear fruit unto God and avoid being cut down.

THE BIBLE IN ONE YEAR:
Genesis 7-10

Prayer Points:

  1. Pray that you will never be distracted from the central message of the gospel.
  2. Pray for the Spirit of repentance to come down on your community and country.
  3. Pray for restoration of those ministers that have been distracted from this central message.
  4. Ask that God will bring back the message of repentance to the pulpit and the lips of all His ministers.

HYMN: The way of the cross leads home.

TREM Devotional – Receiving The Manifestation Of God’s Word

Dr. Mike Okonkwo TREM

Wisdom For The Day Devotional 2 July 2022 By Bishop Mike Okonkwo – Receiving The Manifestation Of God’s Word

TOPIC: Receiving The Manifestation Of God’s Word (TREM Devotional 2 July 2022)

“…but the word preached did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in them that heard it”. – Hebrews 4:12 (KJV)

MESSAGE:

God is a good God and wants his children blessed. That has always been His desire! And He made it very clear right from creation. In the book of Genesis, right after man was made in God’s image, the first statement that came from God’s lips was blessing. “And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth”.(Genesis 1:28)

In other words, God wants you to be successful in every area of life. He wants you to fulfill destiny. He wants you to be happy while living here on earth. And He wants you to fulfill the divine purpose for which He has raised you. So, it’s always God’s desire that you’ll be blessed; he is a good God and does only good.

However, what I have observed over the years is that many times, the promises of God to a lot of people do not find manifestation or expression because they do not know what to do. Beloved, God cannot lie. His promises are yea and amen in Christ. If we don’t see the manifestation, there is something we are not doing right.

To receive manifestation, the promises of God must be received by faith. The Word we have received must be mixed with faith in our hearts. That is how to see the manifestation. You may receive a prophetic declaration but if you don’t mix it with faith, you may end up not receiving the manifestation. And you will be frustrated.

According to our text, everyone received the word. But some did not mix the Word with faith. Others mixed it with faith. They accepted it as true. And because they did, they received manifestation.

Seeds Of Destiny Devotional – Understanding-A Necessity For An Outstanding Life

Paul Enenche

Dunamis Seeds Of Destiny 2 July 2022 Devotional By Dr. Paul Enenche: Understanding – A Necessity For An Outstanding Life

TOPIC: Understanding – A Necessity For An Outstanding Life (Seeds Of Destiny 2 July 2022)

SCRIPTURE: The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints, Ephesians 1:18.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: Every undertaking in life becomes outstanding with understanding.

MESSAGE:

Understanding, otherwise known as revelation, is a vital necessity in the journey of life and destiny. It is important to understand the reason why we do the things we do. For example, it is necessary to know why we must pray, give and reach out to souls for God.

Now, why is it necessary to understand the reasons behind the things we do?

  1. Every undertaking is outstanding with understanding.
Every undertaking in life becomes outstanding with understanding. The more we understand the things we do, the more outstanding we become in those things.

This also means that ignorance is the reason for lack of action. Where there is lack of understanding, there is inaction or lack of motion.

  1. Nothing produces or generates impact like insight.
Impact in life or in anything we do is a product of insight or understanding. For example, the difference between a road-side mechanic and a trained industrial mechanical engineer is insight. Also, the difference between a theatre attendant and a consultant plastic surgeon is insight.

In the same way, the difference between those who produce maximum results in the Kingdom of God and those who produce minimal results is insight or understanding.

Lack of understanding is the reason for living an “impactless” life.

Beloved, today, I pray that the eyes of your understanding be opened unto mysteries that make for impactful and outstanding existence in Jesus’ Name.

Remember this: Every undertaking in life becomes outstanding with understanding.

ASSIGNMENTS:

  1. Ask God to give you understanding before embarking on any course of action or endeavour.
  2. Do not embark on any venture without proper understanding or revelation.

PRAYER: Lord, I ask that You open my eyes to see what I need to see, open my ears to hear what I need to hear, and open my mind and spirit to know what I need to know, Lord, in Jesus’ Name.

DCLM Daily Manna – Punishment For Disobedience

Pastor W. F. Kumuyi

DCLM Daily Manna 2 July 2022 Devotional By Pastor W. F. Kumuyi — Punishment For Disobedience

TOPIC: Punishment For Disobedience (DCLM Daily Manna 2 July 2022)

TEXT: 2 Kings 10:28-36 (KJV)

28 Thus Jehu destroyed Baal out of Israel.

29 Howbeit from the sins of Jeroboam the son of Nebat, who made Israel to sin, Jehu departed not from after them, to wit, the golden calves that were in Bethel, and that were in Dan.

30 And the Lord said unto Jehu, Because thou hast done well in executing that which is right in mine eyes, and hast done unto the house of Ahab according to all that was in mine heart, thy children of the fourth generation shall sit on the throne of Israel.

31 But Jehu took no heed to walk in the law of the Lord God of Israel with all his heart: for he departed not from the sins of Jeroboam, which made Israel to sin.

32 In those days the Lord began to cut Israel short: and Hazael smote them in all the coasts of Israel;

33 From Jordan eastward, all the land of Gilead, the Gadites, and the Reubenites, and the Manassites, from Aroer, which is by the river Arnon, even Gilead and Bashan.

34 Now the rest of the acts of Jehu, and all that he did, and all his might, are they not written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Israel?

35 And Jehu slept with his fathers: and they buried him in Samaria. And Jehoahaz his son reigned in his stead.

36 And the time that Jehu reigned over Israel in Samaria was twenty and eight years.

KEY VERSE: “In those days the LORD began to cut Israel short: and Hazael smote them in all the coasts of Israel” (2 Kings 10:32).

MESSAGE:

Jehu was among the kings of Israel. He was wonderfully helped by God to emerge as a leader to rule over Israel as a nation, and to wipe out the ruinous effect of idolatry that King Ahab and his family introduced in the land. In what looked like national military campaign, Jehu mobilised people of like minds who helped him to accomplish this feat by killing all the males in the lineage of Ahab.

These spiritual and national exploits attracted divine blessings for Jehu and God promised to uphold his family to rule Israel for the next four generations (2 Kings 10:30). However, Jehu’s heart was not perfect towards God. The Lord abandoned him and appointed his enemy, King Hazael, to pummel Israel in all quarters until most Israeli lands were lost to the Syrians.

God rejects and punishes His rebellious and disobedient children each time they flagrantly flout His commandments. He is no respecter of any man and does not have a favourite. You remain in favour with God as long as you continue to obey Him and live a life that pleases Him.

However, divine displeasure and punishment await those who disobey Him. But the good news is that God has also provided opportunity and avenue of reconciliation for penitent and humble followers who return to Him. Christ shed His precious blood to wash penitent sinners and restore them to fellowship with God.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY:
Rebellion is like the sin of witchcraft. Shun it!

THE BIBLE IN ONE YEAR:
Genesis 4-6

Prayer Points:

  1. Lord, search me out if there is any area I am not pleasing You.
  2. Father, touch my heart and make me willing to be obedient to all Your will.
  3. Holy Spirit, cancel the principle of selective obedience from my life and use me in bringing many to righteousness.
  4. God, visit all the brethren and turn their lives around to perfect obedience of Your will.

HYMN: Search me O God.
