TREM Devotional – Accept Your Acceptance

Bishop Mike Okonkwo

Wisdom For The Day Devotional 16 April 2024 By Bishop Mike Okonkwo – Accept Your Acceptance

TOPIC: Accept Your Acceptance (TREM Devotional 16 April 2024)

“Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will, To the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved.” Ephesians 1:5-6 (KJV)

MESSAGE:

You can never ever do enough to qualify yourself before God. It is God that qualifies you. And once He has qualified you, accept it as the truth. Any other thing is not acceptable. The day you received Christ into your life, you became accepted. You cannot function in a space or atmosphere you have not accepted belongs to you.

You must believe it without any shadow of doubt. You are not your mistake. You are not your weakness. You are not your failure. You are who God says you are. You must accept your acceptance. It is time for you not to play games with what God has called you, how He sees you, and how He regards you. Never doubt your acceptance because you will not have boldness if you do. If you doubt your acceptance, you will always see weaknesses and inadequacies.

You have been accepted in the beloved. Many people find it tough to accept who God says they are because their behaviour appears contradictory to God’s position when they look at themselves. It is either you accept and agree to your behaviour, or you accept your true self.

That is the same lie the devil sold to mankind at the fall. When man fell, the first thing God said when He opened His mouth to speak to man was, who told you that you are naked. Beloved, who told you that you are sick? Who told you that you are stranded? Who told you that you are a failure? Who told you that you cannot achieve anything? Someone has sold that lie to you, and you accepted it. You must refuse what God has not said concerning you and accept what He said concerning you.

I encourage you to accept your acceptance and watch your life turn around for good.

Seeds Of Destiny Devotional – As In The Days Of Noah…

Pastor Paul Enenche

Dunamis Seeds Of Destiny 16 April 2024 Devotional By Dr. Paul Enenche: As In The Days Of Noah…

TOPIC: As In The Days Of Noah…(Seeds Of Destiny 16 April 2024)

SCRIPTURE: But as the days of Noah were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered into the ark. Matthew 24:37-38.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: Just as the flood took many people unawares in the days of Noah, the Second coming of Jesus Christ will take many unawares.

MESSAGE:

It has been confirmed that to live wisely on earth, you must think deeply. Nobody can live wisely who has a shallow thought.

Psalm 90:12 says,
So teach us to number our days, that we may apply our hearts unto wisdom.
This means, those who live wisely are those who have the capacity to understand that their days on earth are numbered.

And one way to live wisely on earth is to think about the end of time.
Matthew 24:37-38 says,
But as the days of Noah were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered into the ark.

You see, the Coming of Jesus Christ shall be like it was in the days of Noah.
In the days of Noah, people were eating, drinking, marrying and being given in marriages; they were doing these things as though the flood would not come.

Noah warned them about the impending flood but, they refused to listen or adhere to him. They turned deaf ears until the flood came upon them, and they all perished.

In the same way, in our world today, many people live as if this world would continue for ever. When you tell them about the Second Coming of Jesus Christ, they are not concerned; they can even mock you and give you all sorts of name. They live their lives anyhow, wallowing in sin and all forms of ungodly lifestyles.
But the caution is, just as the flood took many people unawares in the days of Noah, the Second coming of Jesus Christ will take many unawares.

Beloved, are you ready for the second coming of the Lord Jesus Christ? Is your garment pure and white? You must always be conscious of this so you can adjust your life. Live with eternity in view. Disengage from any lifestyle that will make you miss heaven.
Remember this: Just as the flood took many people unawares in the days of Noah, the Second coming of Jesus Christ will take many unawares.

ASSIGNMENT:

  1. Don’t live on earth as if you will live forever. Always live each day with eternity in view.
  2. Be always prepared for the second coming of Jesus Christ.

PRAYER: Lord, I receive the grace to be always prepared for the second coming of Jesus Christ. Cut me away from careless, reckless, thoughtless and sinful living, Lord, in Jesus’ Name.

DCLM Daily Manna – Test Of Christian Love

Pastor W. F. Kumuyi

DCLM Daily Manna 16 April 2024 Devotional By Pastor W. F. Kumuyi — Test Of Christian Love

TOPIC: Test Of Christian Love (DCLM Daily Manna 16 April 2024)

KEY VERSE: “Hereby perceive we the love of God, because he laid down his life for us: and we ought to lay down our lives for the brethren” (1 John 3:16).

TEXT: 1 John 3:13-24 (KJV)

13 Marvel not, my brethren, if the world hate you.

14 We know that we have passed from death unto life, because we love the brethren. He that loveth not his brother abideth in death.

15 Whosoever hateth his brother is a murderer: and ye know that no murderer hath eternal life abiding in him.

16 Hereby perceive we the love of God, because he laid down his life for us: and we ought to lay down our lives for the brethren.

17 But whoso hath this world’s good, and seeth his brother have need, and shutteth up his bowels of compassion from him, how dwelleth the love of God in him?

18 My little children, let us not love in word, neither in tongue; but in deed and in truth.

19 And hereby we know that we are of the truth, and shall assure our hearts before him.

20 For if our heart condemn us, God is greater than our heart, and knoweth all things.

21 Beloved, if our heart condemn us not, then have we confidence toward God.

22 And whatsoever we ask, we receive of him, because we keep his commandments, and do those things that are pleasing in his sight.

23 And this is his commandment, That we should believe on the name of his Son Jesus Christ, and love one another, as he gave us commandment.

24 And he that keepeth his commandments dwelleth in him, and he in him. And hereby we know that he abideth in us, by the Spirit which he hath given us.

MESSAGE:

During the 17th century, Oliver Cromwell, Lord Protector of England, sentenced a soldier to be shot for his crimes. The execution was to take place at the ringing of the evening curfew bell. However, the bell did not sound. The soldier’s fiancée had climbed into the belfry and clung to the great clapper of the bell to prevent it from striking. When she was summoned by Cromwell to account for her actions, she wept as she showed him her bruised and bleeding hands. Cromwell’s heart was touched and he said, “Your lover shall live because of your sacrifice. Curfew shall not ring tonight!” This is an example of what love can do.

The passage before us reveals love for one another as one of the strongest proofs of being saved. It outlines Christian love as being extensive, expensive and expressive. Genuine brotherly love knows no boundary and sets no limit. Brotherly love is also costly. The example of Christ says it all. “Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends” (John 15:13). Genuine love will cost us talents, treasure and time to be spent for others. Love is also expressed by sincerely helping persons in need; that is, by sharing our earthly possessions (food, clothing, money, etc.) with them. Real love is an action, not a feeling. It produces selfless, sacrificial giving.

Christian love is different from the way the world loves. Naturally, people may display genuine love and concern for their fellow humans, but most of the time, such gestures are factually wrapped up in self. The world puts self first before others. This genuine Christian love, devoid of self, begins with an encounter with Christ.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY
Real love is an action, not a feeling.

TREM Devotional – The End Is Near

Bishop Mike Okonkwo

Wisdom For The Day Devotional 15 April 2024 By Bishop Mike Okonkwo – The End Is Near

TOPIC: The End Is Near (TREM Devotional 15 April 2024)

“And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold. But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.” Matthew 24:12-13 (KJV)

MESSAGE:

The world we live in is in a cup of trembling, and it is spiraling downwards. Evil is intensifying, and it is one of the things that Jesus said will be part of the signs of His coming. He said that when you begin to see these things, know that your redemption is at hand. Not that we have not been seeing evil before, but we are talking about the intensity of its perpetuation today. It is so much unprecedented! However, that is not to suggest that God and his children are in trouble. No! It is just to make us understand that we are living witnesses of the fulfillment of prophecy.

We may not know the day or the hour when the Son of Man will come, but we can know through the signs that the time is near. For instance, we can’t know where the wind is coming from, but we can see the effects of the wind when it is blowing. So, there are effects. Things are showing us that we are climaxing the age. And what is important is that we should be prepared for it.

Apostle Paul, in his epistle to his protégé and son in ministry, Timothy, declares: “This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.” 2 Timothy 3:1 (KJV). Some believers today are growing weary. But God says we should not grow weary.

Many do not know which way to turn. As a result, they are burnt out and tired. They are spiritually drained. Like Gideon, they are asking: If God be for us, why are these things happening? Why are my prayers not answered? Why does it look like the world is doing better than those who are serving God? Why are we faced with these challenges?

Child of God, in the midst of all the challenges, you must understand that God is for you. He will never, never leave you nor forsake you. Settle this in your spirit; God is for you and with you.

Seeds Of Destiny Devotional – Your Mind – Your Gateway To Your Future

Seeds Of Destiny Devotional

Dunamis Seeds Of Destiny 15 April 2024 Devotional By Dr. Paul Enenche: Your Mind – Your Gateway To Your Future

TOPIC: Your Mind – Your Gateway To Your Future (Seeds Of Destiny 15 April 2024)

SCRIPTURE: Now therefore let Pharaoh look out a man discreet and wise, and set him over the land of Egypt. Let Pharaoh do this, and let him appoint officers over the land, and take up the fifth part of the land of Egypt in the seven plenteous years. – Genesis 41:33-34.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: Your gift may make you see some measure of result, but it takes your mind to arrive at your future.

MESSAGE:

While Joseph was in Prison, he was interpreting other people’s dreams. Then, Pharaoh, the king of Egypt had a troubling dream. The chief butler, whose dream he once interpreted, told Pharaoh about Joseph, and Pharaoh sent for him.

Joseph came before Pharaoh, and Pharaoh asked him a question, “I have dreamt a dream, can you interpret it for me?”
Joseph told him that he could interpret his dream.
Thus, Joseph interpreted Pharaoh’s dream and also gave the solution to the dream.
Now, if Joseph had stopped at interpreting the dream, Pharaoh would have probably appreciated him and said, “Thank you, Joseph. Please take this gift and go back to the prison”

But Joseph did not only interpret the dream; he gave the solution to the dream. Thus by his gift, he gave interpretation, but by his mind, he gave the solution. His gift brought him out of prison, but the gift could not keep him out of prison.

After interpreting Pharaoh’s dream, he went the extra mile and told Pharoah, “Pharaoh, I want you to appoint a wise man and set him over the land of Egypt to gather food in the first seven years of abundance against the seven years of famine.” (Genesis 41:33-37, paraphrased).
Joseph was describing himself to Pharoah.
And Pharaoh said to Joseph, “Why are you prescribing another person to me? You are the person.” That was how Joseph was appointed by Pharoah to do the job.

The truth is, your gift may make you see some measure of result, but it takes your mind to arrive at your future.

You need a correct mentality to be ushered into your correct destiny.
If you must fulfil your destiny, you must use your mind positively, productively and creatively.

REMEMBER THIS: Your gift may make you see some measure of result, but it takes your mind to arrive at your future.

ASSIGNMENTS:

  1. By all means, refuse to live with a blank mind.
  2. Develop your mind and make it a centre of solutions for your generation and your world.

PRAYER: Lord, I ask that You pour Your Anointing of supernatural wisdom upon my mind. Make my mind a centre of solutions for my generation, Lord, in Jesus’ Name.

DCLM Daily Manna – Christ’s Teaching On Humility

Pastor W. F. Kumuyi

DCLM Daily Manna 15 April 2024 Devotional By Pastor W. F. Kumuyi — Christ’s Teaching On Humility

TOPIC: Christ’s Teaching On Humility (DCLM Daily Manna 15 April 2024)

KEY VERSE: “Whosoever therefore shall humble himself as this little child, the same is greatest in the kingdom of heaven” (Matthew 18:4).

TEXT: Matthew 18:1-4 (KJV)

1 At the same time came the disciples unto Jesus, saying, Who is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven?

2 And Jesus called a little child unto him, and set him in the midst of them,

3 And said, Verily I say unto you, Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven.

4 Whosoever therefore shall humble himself as this little child, the same is greatest in the kingdom of heaven.

MESSAGE:

Shortly after he took over as the President of Tuskegee Institute in Alabama, Booker T. Washington, was walking in an exclusive section of town when he was stopped by a wealthy white woman. Not knowing the famous Professor Washington by sight, she asked if he would like to earn a few dollars by chopping wood for her. Because he had no pressing business at the moment, Professor Washington smiled, rolled up his sleeves and proceeded to do the humble chore she had requested. When he finished, he carried the logs into the house and stacked them by the fireplace. A little girl recognised him and later revealed his identity to the lady.

The next morning the embarrassed woman went to see Professor Washington in his office at the Institute and apologised profusely. “It’s perfectly all right, Madam,” he replied. “Occasionally I enjoy a little manual labour. Besides, it’s always a delight to do something for a friend.” She shook his hand warmly and assured him that his meek and gracious attitude had endeared him and his work to her heart. Not long afterward she showed her admiration by persuading some wealthy acquaintances to join her in donating thousands of dollars to the Tuskegee Institute.

In the text, we are introduced to a recurring debate among the disciples: “Who is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven?” Thinking that their Master’s messianic claim implied a temporal sovereignty and secular power, the disciples were looking forward to becoming dignitaries in this new Kingdom. In His response, Christ used a child to drive home the lesson. Children are teachable, unpretentious, submissive, willingly dependent on their parents and free from malice. Hence, their use as proper emblems of true Christianity.

True greatness is not in position, office, leadership, power, influence, fame, ability, great accomplishments or success. It is a matter of the inner life, involving a humble spirit and a pure heart.

As Christians, we should imbibe this meek and quiet spirit, which is of great price in the sight of God.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY
Are you humble enough to serve others?

According to Pastor Iren, Agallio” means “Rejoice, It refers to an exuberant and passionate type of rejoicing that will involve some spinning, jumping and shouting.

This was Jesus’ response in Luke 10:21. The bible says, “In that hour, Jesus rejoiced in the Spirit.” In our culture, people only rejoice in response to music, but Jesus was responding to revelation knowledge.

Seeds Of Destiny Devotional – Love Fuels Faith

Paul Enenche

Dunamis Seeds Of Destiny 14 April 2024 Devotional By Dr. Paul Enenche: Love Fuels Faith

TOPIC: Love Fuels Faith (Seeds Of Destiny 14 April 2024)

SCRIPTURE: There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love. – 1 John 4:18.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: Love fuels faith. To live in love is to live in faith.

MESSAGE:

The Scripture makes it clear that faith worketh by love (Galatians).
The walk of faith is enhanced by love. That is why a major consequence of lovelessness is impotent faith. The potency of one’s faith is guaranteed by love.

This means, love fuels faith. To live in love is to live in faith, and to be loveless is to be faithless and fearful.

1 John 4:8 says:
He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love.
Anywhere you can find love, you can find God.
The question is: Can God be plagued with fear? Is there anything that makes God afraid?
Nothing! Absolutely nothing!

This is the reason why whenever I stand and preach brutally against witches, wizards, occultic powers, oppressive people, negative situations, and atrocious personalities in our nation and in our world, I do them with zero fear.

I am not afraid because there is a passion, a fire and a compassion for the deliverance of people in me. God planted in me the passion to set people free. I have an undying passion for people for people to be saved and helped. This passion overwhelms every negative emotion of fear.

1 John 4:18 says:
There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love.

So, when you walk in love, that is, real love for God and mankind, you walk in a fearless realm. You walk in a realm that is free of fear, doubt and unbelief, and that is faith.
REMEMBER THIS: Love fuels faith. To live in love is to live in faith.

ASSIGNMENTS:

  1. Allow God to plant genuine love in you so you can live in the realm of faith.
  2. As you walk in love, refuse to fear; live in faith.

PRAYER: Lord, I receive the nature of love that casts out fear and establishes faith. Help me to live in genuine love and vibrant faith, Lord, in Jesus’ Name.

FOR FURTHER UNDERSTANDING, GET THIS MESSAGE: THE PLAGUE OF LOVELESSNESS (PART ONE).

QUOTE: If therefore, forgiveness, love, and compassion is such an important issue to God, it means that His very nature is the nature of forgiveness and the nature of satan, the devil, is opposite to the nature of God, which is the nature of unforgiveness and bitterness.

TREM Devotional – You Are Not Ordinary

Bishop Mike Okonkwo

Wisdom For The Day Devotional 14 April 2024 By Bishop Mike Okonkwo – You Are Not Ordinary

TOPIC: You Are Not Ordinary (TREM Devotional 14 April 2024)

“He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life.” 1 John 5:12 (KJV)

MESSAGE:

Beloved, as a child of God, you have eternal life. Eternal life is God’s class and quality of life. This life is in His Son. And now that you have received Christ, you are in His Son. He that hath the Son hath life, and he that hath not the Son of God, hath not life. So, anyone without Christ has no life. He is simply a moving dead waiting to collapse.

In verse 13 of the Book of 1 John Chapter 5, the scripture says, “These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.” (KJV).

Beloved, you ought to know and understand that you already have eternal life. The same type of life that God has is what you have. You are not ordinary. You are special! You are His son! That is why He is for you and can never be against you. You don’t have any reason to fear any longer.

David knew that God was for him. That’s why he went after Goliath without fear. You can take on any giant with knowledge. They asked David: What do you think you are doing? He responded that while caring for his father’s sheep, a lion came, and he tore it. A bear also came, and he tore it. This man will be like them. God is for me. And to prove he was not scared of Goliath, he ran towards him. Before Goliath could raise his head, he was down. So shall your enemy go down!

Go with this understanding! Square up your shoulders, knowing that your life in Christ is indestructible and unquenchable. The body can be destroyed, but its life cannot because it is eternal. Whatsoever is molesting and harassing, your life is terminated today in Jesus’ name.

DCLM Daily Manna – Love As A Proof

Pastor W. F. Kumuyi

DCLM Daily Manna 14 April 2024 Devotional By Pastor W. F. Kumuyi — Love As A Proof

TOPIC: Love As A Proof (DCLM Daily Manna 14 April 2024)

KEY VERSE: “By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another” (John 13:35).

TEXT: John 13:34-38 (KJV)

34 A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another.

35 By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another.

36 Simon Peter said unto him, Lord, whither goest thou? Jesus answered him, Whither I go, thou canst not follow me now; but thou shalt follow me afterwards.

37 Peter said unto him, Lord, why cannot I follow thee now? I will lay down my life for thy sake.

38 Jesus answered him, Wilt thou lay down thy life for my sake? Verily, verily, I say unto thee, The cock shall not crow, till thou hast denied me thrice.

MESSAGE:

By experience, wherever there are genuine products, there are bound to be counterfeits. These counterfeits tend to appear genuine to the eyes of the undiscerning. This is because they take so much resemblance to the original and genuine. The major difference, however, is that they are of low quality and standard and may not function effectively as the original. Counterfeit products cause a lot of damage. They cause heavy financial loss to manufacturers of original products and a lot of harm and loss to end-users.

As Jesus addressed His disciples in the Bible passage for today preparatory to His departure from them, He commands them to love one another genuinely. Love, according to Him is the proof that will identify them as His disciples and attract others to their fold. It is what will mark them out as being genuine and not fake.

It is becoming increasingly difficult to find true Christians whose lifestyles match their claims. Expectedly, the world is getting more confused about what Christianity is all about because of the apparent contradictions they observe in the lives of so many professing believers because the true proof of the Christian faith is absent.

This does not take away from the fact that there are so many genuine Christians around. One piece of evidence that marks them out that Christ spoke about in the text is pure, fervent, selfless and enduring love. Where this is operational, there will be an absence of envy, vainglory, slandering, backbiting, backstabbing, immorality, cheating, hatred, etc. This kind of love will authenticate the gospel and fuel the spread of God’s word.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY
Love is one Christian dialect that the world wants to understand.
