Seeds Of Destiny Devotional – Service – A Key To The Blessing

Seeds Of Destiny Devotional

Dunamis Seeds Of Destiny 4 January 2022 Devotional By Dr. Paul Enenche: Service – A Key To The Blessing

TOPIC: Service – A Key To The Blessing

SCRIPTURE: And ye shall serve the Lord your God, and he shall bless thy bread, and thy water; and I will take sickness away from the midst of thee. Exodus 23:25.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: Service is key to accessing the Blessing of the Lord.

Service to God is a major activator of the Blessing Covenant. Service is key to accessing the Blessing of the Lord.

This is confirmed in Exodus 23:25:
And ye shall serve the Lord your God, and he shall bless thy bread, and thy water; and I will take sickness away from the midst of thee.

Serving God with all your heart this year is key to experiencing the Blessing of the LORD.

Ecclesiastes 9:10 says:
Whatsoever thy hand findeth to do, do it with thy might; for there is no work, nor device, nor knowledge, nor wisdom, in the grave, whither thou goest.

Beloved, if your hand finds God’s work to do, do it with your energy. If you find yourself in the sanctuary to work for God, do the work with all your energy. Do the service of soul-winning with urgency.

Now, how are you expected to serve God? What is the kind of service that is acceptable to God?

  1. Service must be done in sincerity (Joshua 24:14).
Serve in truth. Do not be fake; be real. Be genuine. Be authentic. Be sincere.
  2. Service must be done in humility (Acts 20:18-19).
Service must be done without arrogance or pomposity. People who are not humble cannot serve God.
  3. Service must be done in uprightness and godly fear.

You cannot be cheating at your place of work, lying stealing, smoking, drinking, womanizing or ‘manising’ and then claim to serve God.

Service must be done in uprightness for it to be acceptable to God and profitable to man.

Hebrews 12:28 says:
Wherefore we receiving a kingdom which cannot be moved, let us have grace, whereby we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear:
Make up your mind to serve God with all your heart to access the Blessing of God.

REMEMBER THIS: Service is key to accessing the Blessing of the Lord.

ASSIGNMENTS:

  1. Make the service of God your priority this year.
  2. Make up your mind to serve God acceptably.

PRAYER: Thank You Lord for Your Word to me today. I receive the grace to serve You acceptably, Lord, in Jesus’ Name.

FOR FURTHER UNDERSTANDING, GET THIS MESSAGE: THE COVENANT OF SERVICE (PART 1).

QUOTE: Let service to God and His kingdom be the reason why you live. Culled from “15 KINGDOM STRATEGIES FOR SURVIVAL” by Dr Paul Enenche.

DAILY BIBLE READING: Genesis 16-20.

REFLECTION:
“For me to live is Christ, and to die is gain” Phil. 1:21. The meaning is, if it is not Christ, there is no use living. Life is worthless and meaningless without Christ.

PROPHETIC WORD/DECLARATION:
May service to God distinguish you this year in Jesus’ Name.

DCLM Daily Manna – Omniscient God

Pastor W. F. Kumuyi

DCLM Daily Manna 4 January 2022 Devotional By Pastor W. F. Kumuyi — Omniscient God

TOPIC: Omniscient God

TEXT: Psalm 10:1-11 (KJV)

10 Why standest thou afar off, O Lord? why hidest thou thyself in times of trouble?

2 The wicked in his pride doth persecute the poor: let them be taken in the devices that they have imagined.

3 For the wicked boasteth of his heart’s desire, and blesseth the covetous, whom the Lord abhorreth.

4 The wicked, through the pride of his countenance, will not seek after God: God is not in all his thoughts.

5 His ways are always grievous; thy judgments are far above out of his sight: as for all his enemies, he puffeth at them.

6 He hath said in his heart, I shall not be moved: for I shall never be in adversity.

7 His mouth is full of cursing and deceit and fraud: under his tongue is mischief and vanity.

8 He sitteth in the lurking places of the villages: in the secret places doth he murder the innocent: his eyes are privily set against the poor.

9 He lieth in wait secretly as a lion in his den: he lieth in wait to catch the poor: he doth catch the poor, when he draweth him into his net.

10 He croucheth, and humbleth himself, that the poor may fall by his strong ones.

11 He hath said in his heart, God hath forgotten: he hideth his face; he will never see it.

KEY VERSE: “Why standest thou afar off, O LORD? why hidest thou thyself in times of trouble?” (Psalm 10:1).

MESSAGE:

The wicked, steeped in his ignorance, sin and pride, is unaware that the Lord is not in hiding, but rather sitting atop the affairs of man and his environment. Just as earthlings do not perceive the great movement of their planet, so are the wicked unconscious that God is fully in charge of the world and its activities.

In His wisdom, God allows life and nature to continue their normal course. He sees the cruelty of evil people against the innocent. He also hears the complaints of the latter, who wonders whether the Lord is hiding Himself “in times of trouble”. Be assured that God still cares. He will intervene in your situation.

Increasingly, the world is given to the idolatry of technological advances, wealth and lust, and becoming more and more atheistic. People reason that it does not add up to crave for an “abundant life” hereafter when you already have a pleasurable and high life here on earth. They are governed by materialism, which will not last because there is an appointed time for the Lord to step in to redress things. He will defend His people and fulfil His plan.

As it is characteristic with the Lord, He will always laugh last in His ways with man. He will judge the unrepentant who shun His salvation plan. He will make good His promise to “punish the world for their evil, and the wicked for their iniquity…” (Isaiah 13:11). Only those who repent genuinely before the judgment day will escape His wrath. The moment to do so is now – time is running out.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: No hiding place for the wicked.

CAC Living Water Daily Devotional – The Omnipotence Of God

CAC Living Water Daily Devotional

CAC Living Water Daily Devotional |  Monday, January 3, 2022 | The Omnipotence Of God

Topic: The Omnipotence Of God

Date: Monday, January 3, 2022

Reading: John 11:38-44

MEMORISE: I know that you can do everything, and  that no purpose of Yours can be withheld from You (Job 42:2).

EXPOSITION

The word, ‘Omnipotence’ refers to the fact that God is all-powerful, infinite and sovereign. His almightiness is defined in the fact that no one can query whatever He chooses to do, at any point in time (Psa. 115:3). Omnipotence is the quality of having unlimited, or very great power. God’s power is limitless. He has supreme power, given to Him by no one. He owes His power to no one. His power source is from Him. He is absolute, second to none. He is maximally great. He can, and will do what He wants, and He is not subject to physical limitations like man. He has power over everything in heaven and on earth-angelic beings and heavenly structures, man, nature, forces,… everything. He is capable of being everywhere, every time, at the same time. By His omnipotent power, He commanded all things to be (Gen. 1:3,6,9), and sustains them all. What a mighty God!

The Omnipotence of God shows that He cannot act contrary to His Holy character, revealed in His Word (Num. 23:19). So, He alone can be trusted without reservation (Lk. 1:37). At the tomb of Lazarus, He showed forth His limitless power over death. Jesus could have avoided the death of His friend, Lazarus, but He wanted to show His omnipotent power. He responded to the lament of Mary, If you had been here by demonstrating (not defining) that He is the resurrection and the life, showing His power over death. If Christ could raise the buried and stinking Lazarus after being 4 days dead, what would be too much for Him to do? (Lk. 1:37).

Remember, He is still the same (Heb. 13:8), believe that He can do all things and He will show forth His omnipotent power in your life and situation. God is capable of doing all things. He will do all He says. He never fails, believe Him and His Word and you will experience His mighty move upon your life and home.

PRAYER POINTS

1. Omnipotent-Father, show forth Your mightiness in my life and home; prove Yourself, O Lord. one

2. Pray that God will visit as many as are suffering from ailment or the other, whether in the hospital or in their

homes, and heal them.

3. Pray for all medical practitioners and health workers that God will work with and through them to restore health and life to ailing people.

TREM Devotional – Activate Your Angels

Dr. Mike Okonkwo TREM

TREM Devotional 3 January 2022 Daily Devotional By Bishop Mike Okonkwo – Activate Your Angels

TOPIC: Activate Your Angels

“Bless the Lord, ye his angels, that excel in strength, that do his commandments, Hearkening unto the voice of his word”. Psalm 103:20 (KJV)

In today’s world of violence, war, bloodshed, natural disasters, and uncertainties, we must deploy all the spiritual weapons at our disposal. God has not abandoned us to be minced meat for the devil.

Part of God’s provisions for our protection and survival are angels. In Ps. 34:7 the Psalmist declares that the angels of the Lord encamp around us to bring deliverance to us. Also in Psalm 91:11, he declares that the Lord gives His angels charge over us to keep us in all our ways. It will shock you to know that despite all these angelic provisions for us, a lot of God’s children are going about without any protection. The reason is that they have not known how to activate and deploy their angels.

Our text for today says that the angels hearken to the voice of His word. Notice that it did not say that they hearken to God’s word. Rather it says they hearken to the VOICE OF HIS WORD. The question is “Who will give voice to the word of God?” Remember, all that God will do, He has done, and He has left us in charge here on earth. We are God’s authorized agent, we are the extension of His mouth, hands, and feet. If God must declare anything today, it will be through us. That explains why I say “Open your mouth or die” because a closed mouth is a closed destiny.

Decide this year not to let any day slip by without your declaration of all that God has said concerning you. If the world hears Him, they will hear Him through you. If your challenges must hear Him, they will hear Him through you. You cannot afford to close your mouth; creation is waiting eagerly for you to act and the time to act is now.

You must therefore open your mouth and give voice to God’s word today so that your angels can be active.

Seeds Of Destiny Devotional – Hunger – A Key To Insight

Seeds Of Destiny Devotional

Dunamis Seeds Of Destiny 3 January 2022 Devotional By Dr. Paul Enenche: Hunger – A Key To Insight

TOPIC: Hunger – A Key To Insight

SCRIPTURE: Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled. Matthew 5:6

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: Spiritual hunger is key to spiritual treasures.

It has been confirmed that it is the knowledge of the truth that guarantees the insight that changes life. There are many people who claim to have known the truth but they have not yet interacted with it. If you have not known the truth like the way a man knows his wife, there may be products you may not bring forth.

The question is, what is it that causes a man to know the truth? How do you get to know the truth? How do you access the truth or the Word of God?

Hunger brings insight (Matthew 5:6).

Hunger gives you access to insight. This is not the hunger for physical food but for the Word of God. Hunger for God and His Word is the secret of insight.

Please take note of this: Spiritual hunger is key to the spiritual treasure. Every time treasure must be accessed in the spirit, there must be spiritual hunger that gives you access to that treasure.
One reason why we do not have the same realm of access to the Word is because we do not have the same level of hunger. What people are hungry for differs. That is why we do not have the same level of access to spiritual virtues.

Psalm 81:10 says:
I am the Lord thy God, which brought thee out of the land of Egypt: open thy mouth wide, and I will fill it.
So, your degree of hunger determines your degree of filling – filling with spiritual virtues, etc.
My counsel is, make up your mind to develop a deep hunger for God and His Word to access His treasures.
REMEMBER THIS: Spiritual hunger is key to spiritual treasures.

ASSIGNMENTS:

  1. Desire a fresh baptism of hunger and passion for God and His Word.
  2. Make hunger for God your first priority in life.

PRAYER: Thank You Lord for Your Word to me today. I receive a fresh baptism of hunger for You, Lord, in Jesus’ Name.

FOR FURTHER UNDERSTANDING, GET THIS MESSAGE: ACCESSING AND PROFITING FROM THE WORD (PART 2).

QUOTE: When God sets your spirit on fire, you will see yourself ministering with passion, evangelizing with passion, and living your Christian life with passion. Culled from “THOU ART MY BATTLE AXE” by Dr Paul Enenche.

DAILY BIBLE READING: Genesis 11-15.

REFLECTION: When a person has no desire for food, it is either a sign of fullness or a sign of sickness. When people are full of other things but God or are scripturally sick, they lack desire for the Word.

PROPHETIC WORD/DECLARATION: The Lord give you the baptism of Spiritual Hunger in this new year in Jesus’ Name.

DCLM Daily Manna – The Mirage Experience

Pastor W. F. Kumuyi

DCLM Daily Manna 3 January 2022 Devotional By Pastor W. F. Kumuyi — The Mirage Experience

TOPIC: The Mirage Experience

TEXT: 1 Samuel 18:22-30 (KJV)

22 And Saul commanded his servants, saying, Commune with David secretly, and say, Behold, the king hath delight in thee, and all his servants love thee: now therefore be the king’s son in law.

23 And Saul’s servants spake those words in the ears of David. And David said, Seemeth it to you a light thing to be a king’s son in law, seeing that I am a poor man, and lightly esteemed?

24 And the servants of Saul told him, saying, On this manner spake David.

25 And Saul said, Thus shall ye say to David, The king desireth not any dowry, but an hundred foreskins of the Philistines, to be avenged of the king’s enemies. But Saul thought to make David fall by the hand of the Philistines.

26 And when his servants told David these words, it pleased David well to be the king’s son in law: and the days were not expired.

27 Wherefore David arose and went, he and his men, and slew of the Philistines two hundred men; and David brought their foreskins, and they gave them in full tale to the king, that he might be the king’s son in law. And Saul gave him Michal his daughter to wife.

28 And Saul saw and knew that the Lord was with David, and that Michal Saul’s daughter loved him.

29 And Saul was yet the more afraid of David; and Saul became David’s enemy continually.

30 Then the princes of the Philistines went forth: and it came to pass, after they went forth, that David behaved himself more wisely than all the servants of Saul; so that his name was much set by.

KEY VERSE: And Saul commanded his servants, saying, Commune with David secretly and say, Behold, the king hath delight in thee, and all his servants love thee: now therefore be the king’s son in law” (1 Samuel 18:22).

MESSAGE:

A mirage is optical illusion in the desert, sea or plane surface during sunny day. It occurs under certain atmospheric conditions, in which objects appear to be real from a distance. An observer Viewing it would hope it is a lake in the distance if he is travelling across the desert. As the thirsty traveller moves on in expectation of a stream to quench his thirst, he discovers the water he appeared to have seen has moved or disappeared. It is unreal.

David was ensnared in that illusory hope when the murderous King Saul presented a marriage proposal to make him his in-law. The devilish conspiracy to eliminate the young son of Jesse had been with splendid prospects. Who would not readily grab a lifetime chance to be a member of royal family through marriage to a king’s daughter?

Yet, not all that glitters is gold. Many hell-inspired counsel and propositions come our way wrapped with good intentions. But their contents are deadly. The only way to avoid their enticement is to seek the Lord. He can guide {he avoid their believer who reaches out to Him for help. David did not go to God for approval before plunging into the deal with Saul. It was unusual of him; still, the Lord was with him. He leapt over the first hurdle schemed to have him killed by the Philistines through Saul’s demand.

Believers ought to be wary about agreements they enter because there are false brethren who are seeking to trap us in temptations of all sorts and distract us from being ready for the rapture. We need to turn over every detail of our secular and ministerial life to God in prayer to avoid falling into the false hope of a mirage.

Focus on the Messiah, not the mirage.

TREM Devotional – Your Case Is Different

Dr. Mike Okonkwo TREM

TREM Devotional 2 January 2022 Daily Devotional By Bishop Mike Okonkwo – Your Case Is Different

TOPIC: Your Case Is Different

“Who hath heard such a thing? who hath seen such things? Shall the earth be made to bring forth in one day? Or shall a nation be born at once? For as soon as Zion travailed, she brought forth her children.” Isaiah 66:8 (KJV)

One thing you must settle in your spirit this year is that your case is different. The fact that it has never happened before does not mean it cannot happen to you. God is set to break records. He is set to do incredible things in quick succession in your life.

In our text today, the question was asked: “who hath heard such a thing?” Hmmm… yes no one may have heard or experienced it before, but that does not mean it is impossible because you have God who specializes in breaking records on your side.

As I write this, I remember the story of Mary, the mother of Jesus. Imagine if she had told the Angel, “Forget it this will never happen” would Jesus have still been born? Yes, because no one can stop the plan of salvation, but Mary would have lost the opportunity of being the vessel through whom the Messiah will come.

This year, I challenge you like Mary to learn to say to the Lord “Be it unto me, according to your word”. You do not have to understand it to experience it. The world does not have to have recorded precedence for it to happen. If God has said it, your only assignment is to believe and to obey. This calls for sensitivity. Learn to live by the proceeding word of God. Take instructions daily, indeed minute by minute from Him. Let the Holy Spirit be your partner in this journey. Walk every step with Him and you will see the impossible become possible in your life.

I am a firm believer that this year is pregnant with testimonies for you. You will not miss it In Jesus’ name. I will hear your testimonies. Don’t forget to send it to testimonies@trem.org and it will bless somebody.

DCLM Daily Manna – Limits Of Our Liberty

Pastor W. F. Kumuyi

DCLM Daily Manna 2 January 2022 Devotional By Pastor W. F. Kumuyi — Limits Of Our Liberty

TOPIC: Limits Of Our Liberty

TEXT: 1 Corinthians 10:14-33 (KJV)

14 Wherefore, my dearly beloved, flee from idolatry.

15 I speak as to wise men; judge ye what I say.

16 The cup of blessing which we bless, is it not the communion of the blood of Christ? The bread which we break, is it not the communion of the body of Christ?

17 For we being many are one bread, and one body: for we are all partakers of that one bread.

18 Behold Israel after the flesh: are not they which eat of the sacrifices partakers of the altar?

19 What say I then? that the idol is any thing, or that which is offered in sacrifice to idols is any thing?

20 But I say, that the things which the Gentiles sacrifice, they sacrifice to devils, and not to God: and I would not that ye should have fellowship with devils.

21 Ye cannot drink the cup of the Lord, and the cup of devils: ye cannot be partakers of the Lord’s table, and of the table of devils.

22 Do we provoke the Lord to jealousy? are we stronger than he?

23 All things are lawful for me, but all things are not expedient: all things are lawful for me, but all things edify not.

24 Let no man seek his own, but every man another’s wealth.

25 Whatsoever is sold in the shambles, that eat, asking no question for conscience sake:

26 For the earth is the Lord’s, and the fulness thereof.

27 If any of them that believe not bid you to a feast, and ye be disposed to go; whatsoever is set before you, eat, asking no question for conscience sake.

28 But if any man say unto you, this is offered in sacrifice unto idols, eat not for his sake that shewed it, and for conscience sake: for the earth is the Lord’s, and the fulness thereof:

29 Conscience, I say, not thine own, but of the other: for why is my liberty judged of another man’s conscience?

30 For if I by grace be a partaker, why am I evil spoken of for that for which I give thanks?

31 Whether therefore ye eat, or drink, or whatsoever ye do, do all to the glory of God.

32 Give none offence, neither to the Jews, nor to the Gentiles, nor to the church of God:

33 Even as I please all men in all things, not seeking mine own profit, but the profit of many, that they may be saved.

KEY VERSE: “Let no man seek his own, but every man another’s wealth” (1 Corinthians 10:24).

MESSAGE:

When the imperial powers were carving out Africa into colonies during the Scramble for Africa at the Berlin Conference in the late 18th Century, it hardly mattered to the Europeans to take into consideration the liberty of the people whose lands they were fighting for. Their interests and how to entrench them were uppermost to them, regardless of who was hurt.

Selfishness is a vice that is condemned by the word of God. As the Holy Spirit inspired Apostle Paul to write to the Corinthian brethren on grave spiritual matters, he observed disturbing traits that had to do with the Lord’s Supper, idolatry, division, etc. His definitive instruction, based on the foundational teaching that we are all one, is that we should strive to “please all men in all things, not seeking [our] own profit, but the profit of many, that they may be saved”.

If believers abide by this exhortation, knowledgeable and experienced Christians would not mislead others into sin and error. Our freedom is a weapon for the liberation of others, not to drag them into spiritual slavery characterised by fellowship with idolaters, division in the church and selfishness.

The challenge from today’s teaching to the Christians of our age is that we should remain the salt and light of the world. We should utilise these potent and indispensable weapons to free the world from the choking stranglehold of erroneous doctrines, greed and selfishness. True liberty is exercised within the boundaries of Scripture to impact others positively for God’s glory.

Our liberty in Christ empowers us to deliver the world

Lyrics: Great God By TheKing’z

Chorus:
Great God, You’re the Great God (Yeah)
Great God, You’re the Great God.
That’s who You are!

Verse 1:
When I stumble and fall,
You will be with me.
Even when I am down,
It is You that will pick me up!
So I know I can’t fail,
Since You’re always beside me.
Lord You’re my God,
And whenever you need me I’m down.

Hook:
Even If the world turn its back on You,
There will be to stand up for You.
The demons may huff and puff, even try,
But they will never blow me down.
I’m here for you dear Lord,
Your news I will carry,
I know You are faithful,
To You I am grateful,
I’ll always be thankful,
Unto you Jehovah
Cos You are the…

Chorus:
Great God, You’re the Great God (Yeah)
Great God, You’re the Great God.
That’s who You are!

Verse 2:
As I stare deep in thoughts,
The truth’s dawning on me.
You know who I am,
It don’t matter what’s said by men
So I pick my head up,
This is no time to give up.
And now I stand tall,
Lord I’m ready to give my all.

Hook:
Even If the world turn its back on You,
There will be to stand up for You.
The demons may huff and puff, even try,
But they will never blow me down.
I’m here for you dear Lord,

Ese – Titilayo Ojo

Ese - Titilayo Ojo

The versatile gospel music minister, Titilayo Ojo, the “Gba Ope” crooner is out with another single “Ese” with lyrics in both Yoruba and English.

The song is birthed out of a very deep and personal reflection on the greatness and faithfulness of God amidst the challenges of life.

According to the gospel songstress, “out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh.” As a recipient of His life, this song is a reflection of my heart as well as my response to the giver and keeper of my life.”

“As a people of God to cultivate the altitude of thanksgiving regardless of our circumstances because He commands it. Psalms 136:1 states “O give thanks unto the Lord; for he is good: for his mercy endureth forever.” – she adds

Continuing on her assertions, She says “a song of gratitude is never far from an understanding heart. As many who understand this, “Ese” is an expression of gratitude to our father for both merited and unmerited benefits lavished upon us through His benevolence in the previous year.

Our song will still remain that of thanksgiving in anticipation for the great things He is set to do for us in the new year and beyond.”

“Ese” is the reflection of who I am and how I express myself. This is my response and that is my attitude.” – She concludes.
