DCLM Daily Manna – Righteous Indignation

DCLM Daily Manna

DCLM Daily Manna 8 June 2021 Devotional by Pastor W. F. Kumuyi — Righteous Indignation

TOPIC: Righteous Indignation

TEXT: Amos 3:1-3

1 Hear this word that the LORD hath spoken against you, O children of Israel, against the whole family which I brought up from the land of Egypt, saying,

2 You only have I known of all the families of the earth: therefore I will punish you for all your iniquities.

3 Can two walk together, except they be agreed?

KEY VERSE: “You only have I known of all the families of the earth: therefore I will punish you for all your iniquities.” – (Amos 3:2)

MESSAGE:

“Spare the rod and spoil the child” is a popular maxim. God called Israel His first born (Exodus 4:22). Through signs and wonders and a ‘strong hand’, He planted them in the land of Canaan, flowing with milk and honey. Like one would do to a firstborn, God satisfied Israel with good things. He protected them, supplied their needs and fought against their enemies. But like a spoilt child, Israel took God’s love for granted. God would have none of that because He has eyes too pure to behold iniquity.

Prophet Amos was sent by God to deliver His message to erring Israel. God reminded them of the redemptive work in Egypt. Because Israel had gone into unrighteousness, God asked them an obvious question: “Can two walk together except they be agreed?”

There is nothing like eternal security (that is, the idea that once we are saved, we remain forever saved irrespective whatever we do). The soul that doeth presumptuously shall be cut off from among his brethren. We need to be careful. If God spared not Israel that He referred to as the ‘only family’ He had known of all families of the earth, how can anyone imagine that God would put up with his sins and iniquities?

The fact that God has not executed His judgment upon His erring children now is because He is giving a window of opportunity, so that the sinners and backsliders may repent. If one fails to repent eventually, God will severely punish all iniquities. Remember, God is no respecter of persons.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY:
God does not condone sins even in His children.

[Music + Video] Your Presence – Jaymz Maunel

Your Presence - Jaymz Maunel

After kicking off the year with ‘You Are’ a song declaring the omnipotence and supremacy of God which was well received and still gaining massive rotation on radio and TV. Jaymz Maunel  is back again with another spirit-filled single ‘Your Presence’.

Your Presence“, is a song of intense communion and fellowship with the Lord was born out of a place of deep intense fellowship with the Lord.

Ps.27.4 – One thing have I asked of the Lord, that will I seek, inquire for, and [insistently] require: that I may dwell in the house of the Lord [in His presence] all the days of my life, to behold and gaze upon the beauty [the sweet attractiveness and the delightful loveliness] of the Lord and to meditate, consider, and inquire in His temple.[AMP]

My prayer and earnest desire is that this song will communicate and secure GOD’S manifest Presence all around the world and everywhere it is played and listened to. May it stir up an unending and insatiable desire in us to press into more of God and yield ourselves to deeper, richer, more deliberate and intense fellowship with Jesus Christ who loves us and gave His all for us. ~Jaymz Manuel.

Seeds Of Destiny Devotional – Accessing The Wisdom For Indestructibility

Paul Enenche

Dunamis’ Seeds Of Destiny 7 June 2021 Devotional By Dr. Paul Enenche – Accessing The Wisdom For Indestructibility

TOPIC: Accessing The Wisdom For Indestructibility

To possess God is to possess wisdom.

SCRIPTURE: The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom: and the knowledge of the holy is understanding. Proverbs 9:10

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: To possess God is to possess wisdom.

It has been established from our previous studies that the Wisdom of God makes a person unstoppable and indestructible. We saw this in the life of David who was unstoppable and indestructible despite several confrontations. We also saw that where the wisdom of God is at work, the bad will of man cannot prevail.

Today, we shall be looking at the secret of this wisdom that makes people unstoppable and indestructible in life and destiny.

Now, what is the key to this wisdom?

The fear of the Lord

The key to the Wisdom of God is the fear of the Lord as expressed in the pursuit of God (Proverbs 9:10).

David was a God chaser (Psalm 42:1-2). The Bible called him, “The Man after God’s Heart” (1Samuel 13:14).

Beloved, take note of these two key-statements:

a. To pursue God is to pursue wisdom because God is the Headquarters of wisdom.

To possess God is to possess wisdom. For God is the All-wise God (Colossians 2:3).

b. You cannot love God and lack wisdom.

It is not possible to love God passionately and lack wisdom. (Colossians 2:3).

Now, let me give you these counsels:

  1. Reorder your life’s priorities. If you want the kind of wisdom that delivered David from the javelin of Saul, reorder your life’s priorities, and ensure that God is first in your life.
  2. Glorify God in all you do. Let this be your greatest passion – glorifying God with your life, work, intellect, career, voice, heart, and resources.

Beloved, I decree today that as you are ready to glorify God and make Him first in your life, His Wisdom shall become your portion and destruction shall be far from you in Jesus’ Name.

Remember this: To possess God is to possess wisdom.

ASSIGNMENTS:

  1. Go through the message again.
  2. Refuse to do what does not please God.
  3. Let the love and fear of God reflect on all you do.

FOR FURTHER UNDERSTANDING, GET THIS MESSAGE: UNSTOPPABLE BY WISDOM (Part 3).

PRAYER: Lord, give me a heart of love for You. Grant me access to the fountain of Your wisdom, Lord, in Jesus’ Name.

DAILY BIBLE READING: Psalm 88-90

QUOTE: You cannot arrive in the land of wisdom until you have made the decision to be wise. Culled from “BE WISE AND RISE” by Dr Paul Enenche.

REFLECTION: Wisdom does not begin until the Fear of the Lord is in place. What is it that you fear the most in life? Who do you want to please the most in life? Who do you love the most in life? Is it God? Then you can’t beg for Wisdom.

PROPHETIC DECLARATION/WORD: Begin to experience a new wavelength of wisdom in this season in Jesus’ Name.

Today’s devotional was written by Pastor Paul Enenche of the Dunamis International Gospel Centre (DIGC), headquartered at Abuja, Nigeria, with Pastor Paul and Becky Enenche, as the Senior Pastors. DCLM Daily Manna – God’s Omnipotence

DCLM Daily Manna

DCLM Daily Manna 7 June 2021 Devotional by Pastor W. F. Kumuyi — God’s Omnipotence

TOPIC: God’s Omnipotence

TEXT: 1 SAMUEL 2:1-11

1 And Hannah prayed, and said, My heart rejoiceth in the LORD, mine horn is exalted in the LORD: my mouth is enlarged over mine enemies; because I rejoice in thy salvation.

2 There is none holy as the LORD: for there is none beside thee: neither is there any rock like our God.

3 Talk no more so exceeding proudly; let not arrogancy come out of your mouth: for the LORD is a God of knowledge, and by him actions are weighed.

4 The bows of the mighty men are broken, and they that stumbled are girded with strength.

5 They that were full have hired out themselves for bread; and they that were hungry ceased: so that the barren hath born seven; and she that hath many children is waxed feeble.

6 The LORD killeth, and maketh alive: he bringeth down to the grave, and bringeth up.

7 The LORD maketh poor, and maketh rich: he bringeth low, and lifteth up.

8 He raiseth up the poor out of the dust, and lifteth up the beggar from the dunghill, to set them among princes, and to make them inherit the throne of glory: for the pillars of the earth are the LORD’S, and he hath set the world upon them.

9 He will keep the feet of his saints, and the wicked shall be silent in darkness; for by strength shall no man prevail.

10 The adversaries of the LORD shall be broken to pieces; out of heaven shall he thunder upon them: the LORD shall judge the ends of the earth; and he shall give strength unto his king, and exalt the horn of his anointed.

11 And Elkanah went to Ramah to his house. And the child did minister unto the LORD before Eli the priest.

KEY VERSE: “The LORD killeth, and maketh alive: he bringeth down to the grave, and bringeth up” (1 SAMUEL 2:6).

MESSAGE:

To set one’s hope on a source that turns out to be false is a most harrowing experience in life. No doubt, disappointment, failure, depression, frustration and even death result from trusting a source that is not the Ultimate Power. Challenges of life have driven many to rely on man, money, powers of darkness, self and other forces.

That passage today centres on the eye-opening prayer of praise by Hannah declaring the eternal truth about God. She started by extolling God’s holiness virtue and confirming that He is the only confirmed Rock. Hannah had been a beneficiary of God’s omnipotent power as she received a male child, Samuel, at an old age after praying to the Lord. By experience therefore, she declared the Lord God as the Source of genuine joy, the Giver of victory over the enemies, the Owner of salvation, the incomparable Rock, the ultimate Source of life and living, the Determiner of richness over austerity, the triumphant Lord over all adversaries and Lifter-up of all that trust in Him.

How then does one tap into God’s omnipotent power? How does one benefit from this ultimate Source of power? Hannah knew God as the only solution to all of life’s problems. She had strong faith in the ability and willingness of God to hear and answer His children. She therefore prayed earnestly and fervently to Him, without wavering or doubting. She made a pledge to give the product of her prayer back to God, to serve Him.

The lessons here are invaluable. God only is the Source of the ultimate and unlimited power. Trusting in Him only is the duty of all believers. He is the only one that gives freely.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY:
Trust God to do the impossible.

Seeds Of Destiny Devotional – Key Thoughts On Wisdom

Paul Enenche

Dunamis’ Seeds Of Destiny 6 June 2021 Devotional By Dr. Paul Enenche – Key Thoughts On Wisdom

TOPIC: Key Thoughts On Wisdom

If you are wise, you must dominate.

SCRIPTURE: And David went out whithersoever Saul sent him, and behaved himself wisely: and Saul set him over the men of war, and he was accepted in the sight of all the people, and also in the sight of Saul’s servants. 1 Samuel 18:5

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: If you are wise, you must dominate.

We saw in our previous study that the wisdom of God is a weapon that makes a person unstoppable and indestructible before his enemy.

Today, from the life of David, we are going to look at three key thoughts regarding the wisdom of God that makes a man unstoppable.

  1. The destiny of a person of wisdom can never be covered.

When the Wisdom of God is at work in your life, no witch or wizard can cover your destiny. Bad economic situations, the hatred of man, bitterness, or envy cannot cover your destiny. Wisdom is the secret of shining. It is the twin of favour (Luke 2:52).

  1. Where the wisdom of God is at work, the bad will of man cannot prevail (1 Samuel 18:14-15).

Where the wisdom of God – insight, favour, and direction from God is at work in your life, the bad will of man cannot prevail. When a man is trying to hinder your life, God can give you one direction, revelation, idea, or insight that would neutralize and mesmerise, the bad will of that man.

  1. Wisdom is the dominion of the wise

Wisdom is a combination of two words which are, “WISE” and “DOM”. That is, the domain or dominion of the wise. That is right. Wisdom is the dominion of the wise. To have wisdom is to dominate. The wise must dominate. David behaved himself so wisely that even though Saul hated him badly, the same Saul placed him above everyone else (1 Samuel 18:5).

Beloved, if you are wise, you must dominate. Where the wisdom of God is at work, the wisdom or expertise of men must bow.

Remember this: If you are wise, you must dominate.

ASSIGNMENTS:

  1. Always ask God for Divine direction, and insight in the midst of every confrontation.
  2. Consistently spend time with God Who is the All-Wise God in order to assimilate his Character of wisdom.

FOR FURTHER UNDERSTANDING, GET THIS MESSAGE: UNSTOPPABLE BY WISDOM (PART 3).

PRAYER: Father, thank You for Your Word to me today. I receive the grace to dominate in life as I walk in the frequency of Your Wisdom, Lord, in Jesus’ Name.

DAILY BIBLE READING: Psalm 85-87

QUOTE: Wisdom establishes a kingdom. Culled from “30 SECRETS TO THE TOP” by Dr Paul Enenche.

REFLECTION: The All-wise God is also the Almighty God. Connecting with His Wisdom is connecting with His Might and Dominion. Do you feel helpless at times where might or dominion are concerned? Do you desire to move higher in Dominion? Moving higher in wisdom is a doorway.

PROPHETIC DECLARATION/WORD: Step into higher levels of Dominion as you step into higher levels of Divine Wisdom in Jesus’ Name.

Today’s devotional was written by Pastor Paul Enenche of the Dunamis International Gospel Centre (DIGC), headquartered at Abuja, Nigeria, with Pastor Paul and Becky Enenche, as the Senior Pastors. DCLM Daily Manna – Being Born Again

DCLM Daily Manna

DCLM Daily Manna 6 June 2021 Devotional By Pastor W. F. Kumuyi — Being Born Again

TOPIC: Being Born Again

TEXT: John 3:1-3

1 There was a man of the Pharisees, named Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews:

2 The same came to Jesus by night, and said unto him, Rabbi, we know that thou art a teacher come from God: for no man can do these miracles that thou doest, except God be with him.

3 Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.

KEY VERSE: “Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.” – (John 3:3)

MESSAGE:

The second birth is the only authentic means of getting to the kingdom of God. Jesus Christ declared very clearly and emphatically that “except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God”. Nicodemus, to whom Jesus made this declaration had eulogized Jesus Christ and called Him “a teacher come from God” and had testified that God was with Him. Jesus declared the eternal fact and unavoidability of the second birth for all that want to enter into the Kingdom. Nicodemus himself a Jewish leader, well versed in the Old Scriptures and Jewish religion and traditions, did not know this eternal truth: “Except a man be born again…” No alternative, substitution, sacrifice, good works, philanthropy, good behaviour and no other religious rites will take anyone to the kingdom of God; except a man be born again. No position in the church or in the society, other religious worship systems, miracle working, prophetic power, prosperity even in religious things can qualify any one except he or she is born again.

What does it mean to be born again? Being born again involves simple steps. Acknowledge your sins and confess them before the Lord without any excuses, Accept that you are guilty of them and repent/ turn away from those sins. Believe that Jesus died for you at Calvary, to take away your sins. Believe in the power and sufficiency of the blood of Jesus to wash away all your sins. Finally, Confess Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Saviour. Confess that you are now a new creature. Confess that you are free from sins and you are now a child of God; you are born again. Continue to live in the light of your confession, never go back to sin. Join a Bible believing church and continue to learn more of the new life.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY:
Without salvation, man is lost.

Seeds Of Destiny Devotional – Unstoppable By Wisdom

Paul Enenche

Dunamis’ Seeds Of Destiny 5 June 2021 Devotional By Dr. Paul Enenche – Unstoppable By Wisdom

TOPIC: Unstoppable By Wisdom

The wisdom of God makes people unstoppable, indomitable and indestructible.

SCRIPTURE: And David behaved himself wisely in all his ways; and the LORD was with him. Wherefore when Saul saw that he behaved himself very wisely, he was afraid of him. 1 Samuel 18:14-15

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: The wisdom of God makes people unstoppable, indomitable and indestructible.

Wisdom is behind the achievement and effective management of true success in life. Wisdom is a reflection of the capacity to maximise life’s opportunities and potentials. It also refers to distinction-producing and destruction-preventing courses of action.

It has been confirmed that wisdom, the wisdom of God, makes people unstoppable, indomitable and indestructible.

For example, David was a man who battled with rejection as the first battle of his life (Psalm 27:10). When it was time for a king to be anointed in Israel and Samuel went to the house of Jesse, David’s father and asked that the children of Jesse be brought out, everyone forgot about David. He was the ideal candidate who was abandoned in the wilderness, yet the rejection could not stop him. He was pulled out of that wilderness by the Hand of God and then anointed.

After David overcame that, he got into the battlefield and confronted Goliath and took him down.

Then the women began to sing, “David has slain his ten thousands and Saul his thousands.” Consequently, Saul came after his life. But that still could not stop him, he arrived at the throne. David was practically unstoppable.

Now, what was David’s secret? The Bible says that he behaved himself wisely (1 Samuel 18:14-15). David behaved in such a way that Saul could not trap him. He behaved himself wisely at every point in time, so he could not be ruined.

The wisdom of God is a weapon that makes you unstoppable and indestructible before your enemy. It is a weapon that makes it impossible for the enemy to locate you for destruction.

Beloved, ask God to baptise you afresh with His wisdom.

Remember this: The wisdom of God makes people unstoppable, indomitable and indestructible.

ASSIGNMENTS:

  1. Acknowledge that the Wisdom of God is what you need to succeed in life.
  2. Make demands on the Wisdom of God in all you do.
  3. Company with God and meditate on His Word to connect His Wisdom.

FOR FURTHER UNDERSTANDING, GET THIS MESSAGE: UNSTOPPABLE BY WISDOM (PART 3).

PRAYER: Lord, I make demands on the Spirit of Wisdom upon my life. Give me the grace to walk in wisdom and be unstoppable by the enemy, Lord in Jesus’ Name.

DAILY BIBLE READING: Psalm 82-84

QUOTE: Wisdom is better than weapons of war. Strategy is superior to strength in life’s battles. Culled from “BE WISE AND RISE” by Dr Paul Enenche.

REFLECTION: Have you ever been in a position of envy and jealousy before? Have people come after you and hated you without a cause? Have they hated and resisted you even when you appear like you are not anywhere near success yet? Congratulations. It is proof-positive that a heavy future is ahead, and you can escape their wrath both by the Wisdom and the Mercy of God.

PROPHETIC DECLARATION/WORD: The great future ahead of you, no devil can divert or distract in Jesus’ Name.

Today’s devotional was written by Pastor Paul Enenche of the Dunamis International Gospel Centre (DIGC), headquartered at Abuja, Nigeria, with Pastor Paul and Becky Enenche, as the Senior Pastors. It is a power-packed arena where God’s Presence, Principles and Power are at work for the salvation, healing and restoration of human destinies and dignities

DCLM Daily Manna – Don’t Be A Busybody

DCLM Daily Manna

DCLM Daily Manna 5 June 2021 Devotional By Pastor W. F. Kumuyi — Don’t Be A Busybody

TOPIC: Don’t Be A Busybody

TEXT: Psalm 52:1-9

1 (To the chief Musician, A Psalm of David, when Nathan the prophet came unto him, after he had gone in to Bathsheba.) Have mercy upon me, O God, according to thy lovingkindness: according unto the multitude of thy tender mercies blot out my transgressions.

2 Wash me throughly from mine iniquity, and cleanse me from my sin.

3 For I acknowledge my transgressions: and my sin is ever before me.

4 Against thee, thee only, have I sinned, and done this evil in thy sight: that thou mightest be justified when thou speakest, and be clear when thou judgest.

5 Behold, I was shapen in iniquity; and in sin did my mother conceive me.

6 Behold, thou desirest truth in the inward parts: and in the hidden part thou shalt make me to know wisdom.

7 Purge me with hyssop, and I shall be clean: wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow.

8 Make me to hear joy and gladness; that the bones which thou hast broken may rejoice.

9 Hide thy face from my sins, and blot out all mine iniquities.

KEY VERSE: “Why boastest thou thyself on mischief, O mighty man? The goodness of God endureth continually.” – (Psalm 52:1)

MESSAGE:

The term “busybody” usually refers to one focusing on the matters of others but looks little to his own issues. Busybodies also tend to look especially on the faults and troubles of other folks. They hardly focus on good news related to other people, but more often, it is issues about the scurrilous that occupy their minds.

David was reacting to the action of Doeg the Edomite, who had gone to Saul and told him David had gone to the house of Abimelech. The Psalm is a contrast between the righteous and wicked, revealing the frustration the righteous have toward the wicked and their ungodly ways. The psalmist challenged the arrogant wicked tyrant who boasted in his wickedness. He ended by saying that when the righteous see how God has destroyed the wicked out of the land of the living, they will fear lest they turn from the will of God. And the righteous will declare the goodness of God because He has rendered judgment on the wicked.

There are those who pick stones for the enemy against the innocent for the sake of the gain they can make out of that betrayal. Treachery and backstabbing are terrible sins that must not be courted by any believer. Those who cherish them end up disastrously. God is not mocked; every man must reap the fruit of whatever he sows.

There are those who delight in meddlingin other people’s matters. Many have lost their lives by what they heard in their busybody mission. Had they kept their distance, shut their mouth or closed their eyes, they could have saved themselves. It is sad that men hardly learn from what happens to other people.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY:
Lord, make me to see the good in others, always.
