Seeds Of Destiny Devotional – Discerning The Spirit Behind The Sound

Paul Enenche

Dunamis’ Seeds Of Destiny 8 May 2021 Devotional By Dr. Paul Enenche – Discerning The Spirit Behind The Sound

TOPIC: Discerning The Spirit Behind The Sound

The lyrics of a song may appear neutral but the spirit behind it may be a spirit from hell.

SCRIPTURE: The same followed Paul and us, and cried, saying, These men are the servants of the most high God, which shew unto us the way of salvation. Acts 16:17

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: The lyrics of a song may appear neutral but the spirit behind it may be a spirit from hell.

In our earlier studies, we established that every sound has a spirit. If it is the Spirit of God, it transmits to you the Spirit of faith and life, and if it is the spirit of the devil, it transmits to you the spirit of fear and destruction.

From our anchor Scripture, we understand that there was a girl with the spirit of divination that followed Paul and his companions. She said, these are the men that show us the way of salvation.

The point is, what was wrong with the girl was not her statement but the spirit in the statement. It was not the utterance but the Spirit that instigated the utterance.

The question is: what was wrong with what she said? Now, she kept saying that for three days until Paul perceived that the statement was right but the spirit was wrong. He became grieved in his heart and cursed that devil out of the girl, and there was commotion.

Beloved, a speech may appear innocent or harmless. The lyrics of a song may appear neutral but the spirit behind it may be evil. It could be the spirit of atheism, death, or destruction that leads many souls to hell.

Therefore, beloved, don’t forget that every sound has a spirit. And if it is the Spirit of God, it transmits to you the Spirit of faith. If it is the spirit of the devil, it transmits to you, the spirit of fear and destruction. This is why it is important to discern and filter every sound.

Receive the grace to discern the right sounds and words in Jesus’ Name.

Remember this: The lyrics of a song may appear neutral but the spirit behind it may be a spirit from hell.

ASSIGNMENTS:

  1. Ask God for the Spirit of discernment to know the right sound or speech always.
  2. Give your thought to the meditation of God’s Word always.

PRAYER: Thank You LORD for Your Word to me today. I ask for the fresh baptism of the Spirit of discernment, LORD, in Jesus’ Name.

FOR FURTHER UNDERSTANDING, GET THIS MESSAGE: KEEPING YOUR FAITH ALIVE (PART 1)

QUOTE: The level of your faith is a product of the level of your light. Culled from “MAKING FULL PROOF OF MINISTRY” by Dr Paul Enenche.

DAILY READING: Job 40-42

REFLECTION: Is it possible for an action to be right but the intention wrong? Is it possible for a container to be attractive but the content destructive? Is it necessary to have good discernment in order to avoid being victim?

PROPHETIC DECLARATION/WORD: A new level of discernment is released upon you in Jesus’ Name.

DCLM Daily Manna – Do You See Like Christ?

DCLM Daily Manna

DCLM Daily Manna 8 May 2021 Devotional By Pastor W. F Kumuyi — Do You See Like Christ?

TOPIC: Do You See Like Christ?

TEXT: John 11:33-40

33 When Jesus therefore saw her weeping, and the Jews also weeping which came with her, he groaned in the spirit, and was troubled,

34 And said, Where have ye laid him? They said unto him, Lord, come and see.

35 Jesus wept.

36 Then said the Jews, Behold how he loved him!

37 And some of them said, Could not this man, which opened the eyes of the blind, have caused that even this man should not have died?

38 Jesus therefore again groaning in himself cometh to the grave. It was a cave, and a stone lay upon it.

39 Jesus said, Take ye away the stone. Martha, the sister of him that was dead, saith unto him, Lord, by this time he stinketh: for he hath been dead four days.

40 Jesus saith unto her, Said I not unto thee, that, if thou wouldest believe, thou shouldest see the glory of God?

KEY VERSE: “Jesus said, Take ye away the stone. Martha, the sister of him that was dead, saith unto him, Lord, by this time he stinketh: for he hath been dead four days” (JOHN 11:39).

MESSAGE:

Two men were imprisoned in the same facility; but there was a big chasm in their attitudes to their predicament. One held the bars that stood between him and freedom. Distraught, he focused only on the cold iron in his grip. He saw nothing else. The other, also firmly grabbing the bars, looked away from the steel rods. He saw beyond the prison premises. He looked at stars above his lowly confinement. He set his sights on brighter days to come when he would regain liberty and go about his normal duties again.

That was also the problem with Martha in her encounter with our Lord Jesus Christ at the graveyard of Lazarus. She saw differently from the Lord, even when they were in the same place. Our Lord Jesus looked for a risen Lazarus that would bring glory to heaven. He took His time to demonstrate His resurrection power. But Martha could not see farther than the stone that covered her brother’s grave. She saw a body that “stinketh… [that] hath been dead four days”.

Man will always miss the blessings and miracles of the Lord if he refuses to walk in His strides. When he allows besetting sins of doubt, worldliness, greed and belief in tradition to rule him, he will hardly catch a view of God’s splendid plan for him. These represent the ‘stone’ blocking the rise of his dormant and dead testimonies. They must be removed if he hopes to experience God’s glory in his life and family.

As we step out today, we need to identify the ‘stone’ we woke up with which would not let us see the way our Lord sees. God’s rich blessings await us as we align obediently with His vision. He does not see the death of our dreams, but their realisation.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY:
To reclaim our losses, we need to see as Jesus sees.

Lyrics: Righteous One By Nathaniel Bassey Ft. Victoria Orenze

Righteous One, Holy One, Emmanuel, You are God with us
Jesus Christ, anointed One, You are Messiah, my heart’s desire
Is to know You much more, to live and walk in Your will
Is to love You much more, beholding the glory of Your face
Righteous One, righteous One, that’s who You are
Who You are, that’s who You are, ooh

Wonderful, beautiful, glorious, bright and morning star
Spotless lamb, son of God, kin’s man redeemer, my heart desire
Is to know You much more, to live and walk in Your will
My God, is to You much more, beholding the beauty of Your grace
Righteous One, righteous One, that’s who You are

My desire is to know You, know You much more
I want to hear You and walk in Your ways, Jesus
Oh, I want to know You much more, know You much more, Lord
To carry the beauty of Your grace.

You’re the righteous One, the righteous One, that’s who You are
You are righteous in all Your ways, that’s who You are
You are righteous in all Your ways, that’s who You are

Everything about You, Your is judgment is righteous, Your decrees are righteous

Your method is righteous, the things You say are righteous
Your ways are righteous, Your ways are righteous
There is no fault in You, God
No gall in You, God

Your judgments are true, they are just, they are perfect, everything about You is real
You’re righteous in all Your ways
I’ve never seen anyone as righteous as You
I’ve never seen anyone as faithful as You
Everything You do is, is perfect

You judge righteously, You judge righteously
You are not wicked, You are kind, You are best of all
Oh, our Lord is amazing, what manner of love is this
That You have give up, in spite of me, You will give it up
In spite of me, You will give it up
Righteous, righteous judge
You are holy in all Your ways, holy in all Your ways
Oh, You are holy

You are righteous (righteous One)
You are righteous (the righteous One)
You are wonderful (so wonderful)
You are beautiful (beautiful)
Oh, You are merciful (so merciful)
God, You are merciful (the God of mercy, You are)

You are faithful in all You do, God
You are faithful, that is why my desire is
To love You much more
I want to live for You, I want to serve You, alone
Oh, I want to know You much more

Behold, in Your face (the glory of Your presence)
Behold, in Your face
You’re the matchless One (matchless One)
You are the righteous One
That’s who You are

You are the righteous One
You are the righteous One
You are righteous
Beautiful and righteous
Wonderful and righteous
Glorious and righteous (glorious)
That’s who You are

Seeds Of Destiny Devotional – The Right Company: A Pathway To Vision Fulfilment

Seeds Of Destiny Devotional

Dunamis’ Seeds Of Destiny 6 May 2021 Devotional By Dr. Paul Enenche – The Right Company: A Pathway To Vision Fulfilment

TOPIC — The Right Company: A Pathway To Vision Fulfilment

The right company is a guarantee for the right destiny. The right association is a guarantee for the right destination.

SCRIPTURE: He that walketh with wise men, shall be wise but a companion of fools shall be destroyed. Proverbs 13:20

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: The right company is a guarantee for the right destiny. The right association is a guarantee for the right destination.

It has been established that the right company is critical to vision fulfilment.

The right company is the equivalent of the right soil. What the right soil does to a seed is what the right company does to a vision. As fishes survive, thrive and flourish inside water, so also do visions and carriers of visions flourish in the presence of the right company.

Now, I would like to give you one example of the right company in Scripture and its impact on vision.

  1. Daniel.

Daniel, by the maintenance of the right company, fulfilled vision and destiny in the land of Babylon.

In the Book of Daniel 2:17-19, the Bible says that Daniel went to his house, and made the thing known to Hananiah, Mishael, and Azariah, his companions so that they could desire mercies of the God of heaven concerning the secret of the dream of Nebuchadnezzar, the king of Babylon. And the secret was revealed unto Daniel in a night vision.

The vision was to receive the interpretation to the nightmare of king Nebuchadnezzar. Daniel knew he couldn’t fulfil that vision alone, so he involved his companions (Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego). And in the company of the right people, his vision came to pass – Nebuchadnezzar’s dream and the interpretation thereof were both revealed to Daniel.

The fulfilment of this vision also led to the fulfilment of Daniel’s destiny.

Beloved, the right company is a guarantee for the right destiny. The right association is a guarantee for the right destination.

Remember this: The right company is a guarantee for the right destiny. The right association is a guarantee for the right destination.

ASSIGNMENTS:

  1. Ask God to give you the right company.
  2. Make up your mind to keep only the right company.

PRAYER: Lord, I ask that You give me the right company for vision fulfilment. Deliver me from the wrong company, Lord, in Jesus’ Name.

FOR FURTHER UNDERSTANDING, GET THIS MESSAGE: THE POWER TO FULFIL VISION (PART 3)

QUOTE: Who surrounds you determines what you can survive. It is a matter of association. Culled from “15 KINGDOM STRATEGIES FOR SURVIVAL” by Dr Paul Enenche.

DAILY READING: Job 34-36

REFLECTION: If the right company can help in the fulfilment of vision, can the wrong company facilitate the frustration of vision? What company is around your life currently? Right or wrong?

PROPHETIC DECLARATION/WORD: Wisdom for the right company is released on you in Jesus’ Name.

DCLM Daily Manna – Our Full-Orbed Teacher

DCLM Daily Manna

DCLM Daily Manna 6 May 2021 Devotional By Pastor W. F Kumuyi: Our Full-Orbed Teacher

TOPIC: Our Full-Orbed Teacher

TEXT: Mark 8:1-3

1 In those days the multitude being very great, and having nothing to eat, Jesus called his disciples unto him, and saith unto them,

2 I have compassion on the multitude, because they have now been with me three days, and have nothing to eat:

3 And if I send them away fasting to their own houses, they will faint by the way: for divers of them came from far.

KEY VERSE: “I have compassion on the multitude, because they have now been with me three days, and have nothing to eat.” – (Mark 8:2)

MESSAGE:

Many teachers of the word of God reveal only one side of themselves in ministry. They draw the right conclusions in line with the objectives of heaven as they open from page to page of the Holy Bible. The Holy Spirit helps these evangelists to allow the Word fall on fertile ground for new entrants into heaven. Backsliders too are restored to the narrow path whilst saints are encouraged to continue following the Lord. What next?

In our Bible reading today, our Lord Jesus Christ demonstrates what should also be the priority of preachers. To be a full-orbed pastor, the man of God must see to the other side of the flock. He must, after giving them sound scriptural doctrine, also give them the food of the body. Our Lord had been presenting spiritual manna to the great multitude for three days. Now they had “nothing to eat”. Moved with compassion, the Lord declares that He cannot “send them away fasting to their own houses…for divers of them came from far.”

Christ is a compassionate Saviour who attends to the spiritual and physical needs of men. The way He attended to the needs of the large crowd after feeding them with the Word, teaches the cardinal lesson that the all-round preacher is the one who, while deeply interested in the spiritual welfare of his flock, also shows concern for their material needs.

Like Christ, the teacher of the Word must run a balanced ministry. As he evangelises, he must also look after the converts physically. Our Lord visited Peter’s family and attended to a health condition there. After His resurrection, He fed the disciples at a time they caught nothing and were hungry. He clothed a possessed man after healing him. When there was no wine at a marriage, He supplied it. That is the totality of the ministry work.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY:
Serve balanced spiritual diet; meet material needs of the people.

Seeds Of Destiny Devotional – Powering Vision Unto Fulfilment

Paul Enenche

Dunamis’ Seeds Of Destiny 5 May 2021 Devotional By Dr. Paul Enenche – Powering Vision Unto Fulfilment

TOPIC: Powering Vision Unto Fulfilment

If vision must be fulfilled, it must be powered unto fulfilment.

SCRIPTURE: Tell them therefore, Thus saith the Lord God; I will make this proverb to cease, and they shall no more use it as a proverb in Israel; but say unto them, The days are at hand, and the effect of every vision. Ezekiel 12:23

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: If vision must be fulfilled, it must be powered unto fulfilment.

Vision is a critical necessity for life and destiny. However, it is not enough to possess a vision, it is important to have the vision fulfilled.

And if a vision must be fulfilled, it must be powered unto fulfilment.

Now, what are the things to do to power your vision unto fulfilment?

  1. The Maintenance of Intimacy with God (Genesis 19:27)

God is the Giver of every genuine vision. True vision originates with God, and it can only be fulfilled by relating with God. Abraham maintained a steady relationship with God, and that assisted him to fulfil his vision.

  1. The Maintenance of the Right Company (Proverbs 13:20)

The company of the right people is a fertile ground for vision fulfilment. To be in the company of the right people assists in fulfilling vision. Vision germinates and potentials flourish when you are surrounded with the right people.

  1. The Avoidance of the Wrong Company (1 Corinthians 15:33)

Just like the right company powers you positively, the wrong company disempowers you. The wrong company deflates energy and enthusiasm. When you are surrounded with the wrong people, your vision can disappear completely. The knowledge and consciousness of what you are meant to do with your life can elude you completely.

  1. Connection to Inspiration (Job 32:8)

It is when you are inspired that you can expand in life. It is when you are inspired that you don’t expire. Inspiration is a vital ingredient for vision fulfilment.

  1. Connection to Impartation (Hebrews 7:7)

When power from a higher vessel is released upon you, it empowers you for the fulfilment of your vision.

My counsel is, ensure you fulfil your vision by paying attention to the above points.

Remember this: If vision must be fulfilled, it must be powered unto fulfilment.

ASSIGNMENTS:

  1. Go through today’s message again.
  2. Endeavour to practice the pathways to vision fulfilment as listed above.

PRAYER: Thank You Lord for Your Word to me today. I receive the grace to obey Your instructions to me so I can be empowered to fulfil vision, Lord in Jesus’ Name.

FOR FURTHER UNDERSTANDING, GET THIS MESSAGE: THE POWER TO FULFIL VISION (2)

QUOTE: A vision is what is ahead of you that keeps you going. Culled from “15 KINGDOM STRATEGIES FOR SURVIVAL” by Dr Paul Enenche.

DAILY READING: Job 31-33

REFLECTION: What is your vision for God’s Kingdom? What is your purpose for existence? What is your highest objective in life? What are you doing to bring it to pass? What is the quality of your relationship with God? Who are the key influencers of your life? Are they positive or negative influencers?

PROPHETIC DECLARATION/WORD: Grace to see vision fulfilment is released in Jesus’ Name

DCLM Daily Manna – Speaking God’s Word

DCLM Daily Manna

DCLM Daily Manna 5 May 2021 Devotional By Pastor W. F Kumuyi – Speaking God’s Word

TOPIC: Speaking God’s Word

TEXT: Jeremiah 23:23-32

23 Am I a God at hand, saith the LORD, and not a God afar off?

24 Can any hide himself in secret places that I shall not see him? saith the LORD. Do not I fill heaven and earth? saith the LORD.

25 I have heard what the prophets said, that prophesy lies in my name, saying, I have dreamed, I have dreamed.

26 How long shall this be in the heart of the prophets that prophesy lies? yea, they are prophets of the deceit of their own heart;

27 Which think to cause my people to forget my name by their dreams which they tell every man to his neighbour, as their fathers have forgotten my name for Baal.

28 The prophet that hath a dream, let him tell a dream; and he that hath my word, let him speak my word faithfully. What is the chaff to the wheat? saith the LORD.

29 Is not my word like as a fire? saith the LORD; and like a hammer that breaketh the rock in pieces?

30 Therefore, behold, I am against the prophets, saith the LORD, that steal my words every one from his neighbour.

31 Behold, I am against the prophets, saith the LORD, that use their tongues, and say, He saith.

32 Behold, I am against them that prophesy false dreams, saith the LORD, and do tell them, and cause my people to err by their lies, and by their lightness; yet I sent them not, nor commanded them: therefore they shall not profit this people at all, saith the LORD.

KEY VERSE: “The prophet that hath a dream, let him tell a dream; and he that hath my word, let him speak my word faithfully. What is the chaff to the wheat? saith the LORD.” – (Jeremiah 23:28

MESSAGE:

True prophets are called and ordained to bring men to God. False prophets on the other hand use lies and deceits to turn men away from God into their damnations. Our text compares and contrasts true prophets and false prophets.

False prophets have one stock-in-trade which is purporting to hear from God through dreams when God had said nothing. They mistake their vain imaginations in dreams to be revelations from God and through that, lead men away from God into damnations.

The word of God is not a deceitful message. God’s words are the instructions by which men are taught the knowledge of the Almighty and about themselves. Through God’s word, men are redeemed from their evil ways and are guided on how to walk and please the Lord in their heavenward journey. God’s words free us, protect us, make us wise and bring joy and light. They are guidelines and lights on our paths rather than chains on our hands and feet. They point at evil and warn us. They point us to success and guide or direct us.

To speak God’s word is a great and sacred duty which mortal men should do carefully. The way we speak it and live it will encourage men either to receive or reject it. Those who speak God’s word must ensure that they speak accurately, truthfully and faithfully so as to ensure they are not leading men away from God into damnation. Do we speak to make men feel at ease even though they rebel and disobey God? Do we speak to make men happy even when His judgment is hovering over them? Is our message hardening the hearers in sin or causing them to be pricked in their hearts so as to repent in dust and ashes? Speak the Word today and liberate the souls of men.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY:
The Word is infinitely superior to earthly possessions.

What A Saviour - Nathaniel Bassey

Nathaniel Bassey, distinguished Gospel music minister and songwriter releases a brand new music video themed “What A Saviour”.

According to the lyrics, this is a spirit filled song  that speaks about God’s unconditional love towards humankind and the world entirely, not excluding the price He paid for us to be saved, which we have received by Grace. Nathaniel in fact calls it “Heaven!”

‘What A Saviour’ is track number four on Bassey’s most recent 14-track album, “Hallelujah Again (Revelation 19 : 3)”. He also calls it one of his absolute favorites.

The song’s visuals is beautifully directed by En’Man.

Possible – Brenda Daniels

Possible - Brenda Daniels

Gospel music singer and songwriter, Brenda Daniels drops a groovy Afro-pop song titled “Possible” produced by Kemzy Kem.

Speaking about the song, Brenda mouths “Everything humans accomplish, or not, is a direct decision from God. God owns and orders the whole world.

Our successes are not through our efforts, connections, or smartness, God makes them possible.

We shouldn’t only concentrate on huge achievements as blessings, whereas, waking up every morning, having a true friend, food, and being healthy are also blessings from God.

We should be thankful for everything.” – She concludes.

As a singer/songwriter for many years, she uses her music to extol the greatness of God and encourages acknowledgement of God as the source of all blessings and miracles.
