Seeds Of Destiny Devotional – Power Over-Danger, Disease And Death

Pastor Paul Enenche

Dunamis’ Seeds of Destiny 11 February 2021 Devotional By Pastor Paul Enenche: Power Over – Danger, Disease And Death

Topic: Power Over – Danger, Disease And Death

When Jesus gave you power over the serpent, He also gave you power over danger.

SCRIPTURE: Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you. Luke 10:19.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: When Jesus gave you power over the serpent, He also gave you power over danger.

Earlier, we saw that God gave us power to tread on serpents and scorpions (Luke 10:19). We saw that the serpent represents deception.

In our study today, we shall take a further look at more of the things that the serpent represents:

  1. Danger

The serpent represents danger. Whenever a snake is in a place, people begin to run helter-skelter because the snake is a dangerous animal. So, when Jesus gave you power over the serpent (Luke 10:19), He gave you power over danger.

  1. Disease

The serpent also represents disease. The serpent bit the children of Israel in the wilderness. Moses had to make a brazen serpent on the pole to neutralize the effect of the serpent that bit them on the ground. (Numbers 21:4-9).

You know, the symbol of the medical profession is a lifted rod with a serpent around it. The serpent represents disease. There is anti-snake venom, an injection given to people when they are bitten by snake because snake bite is a disease. Snake venom causes disease in the body and it can even progress to death. But in Christ, we have power over the serpent.

  1. Death

The serpent represents death. The serpent is a killer. Snake bites can lead to death.

I decree that you shall tread on all the forces of danger, disease and death in Jesus’ Name (Luke 10:19).

Remember this: When Jesus gave you power over serpent, He also gave you power over danger.

ASSIGNMENTS:

  1. Make up your mind to exercise your power as a child of God.
  2. Ask God for the grace to tread upon the forces of danger, disease and death.

PRAYER: Thank You Lord for Your Word to me today. I receive the grace to tread upon the forces of danger, disease and death, Lord, in Jesus’ Name.

FOR FURTHER UNDERSTANDING, GET THIS MESSAGE: POWER TO TREAD.

QUOTE: If you need the power of God in your life, if you need the visitation and move of the Holy Spirit in your life, then Word must combine with Spirit to generate power!Culled from “GO IN THIS THY MIGHT” by Dr Paul Enenche.

DAILY READING: Joshua 5-8

AMAZING FACT: If a lioness breeds with a male leopard, their offspring is a “leopon”. The head of a “leopon” is similar to that of a lion while the body more closely resembles a leopard.

PROPHETIC DECLARATION/WORD: I decree the establishment of Your Power to thread over danger, disease and death in this season, in Jesus’ Name

Today’s devotional was written by Pastor Paul Enenche of the Dunamis International Gospel Centre (DIGC), headquartered at Abuja, Nigeria, with Pastor Paul and Becky Enenche, as the Senior Pastors. It is a power-packed arena where God’s Presence, Principles and Power are at work for the salvation, healing and restoration of human destinies and dignities

DCLM Daily Manna – A Dependable Ally

DCLM Daily Manna

DCLM Daily Manna 11 February 2021 Devotional By Pastor W. F Kumuyi – A Dependable Ally

Topic: A Dependable Ally

Text: Psalm 86:1-10 (KJV)

1 Bow down thine ear, O LORD, hear me: for I am poor and needy.

2 Preserve my soul; for I am holy: O thou my God, save thy servant that trusteth in thee.

3 Be merciful unto me, O Lord: for I cry unto thee daily.

4 Rejoice the soul of thy servant: for unto thee, O Lord, do I lift up my soul.

5 For thou, Lord, art good, and ready to forgive; and plenteous in mercy unto all them that call upon thee.

6 Give ear, O LORD, unto my prayer; and attend to the voice of my supplications.

7 In the day of my trouble I will call upon thee: for thou wilt answer me.

8 Among the gods there is none like unto thee, O Lord; neither are there any works like unto thy works.

9 All nations whom thou hast made shall come and worship before thee, O Lord; and shall glorify thy name.

10 For thou art great, and doest wondrous things: thou art God alone.

Key Verse: “In the day of my trouble I will call upon thee: for thou wilt answer me.” – (Psalm 86:7)

MESSAGE:

The psalmist poured out his heart because he was in despair. His poverty was not economic but spiritual, in that he realised he needed the help of God in his life. The prayers of many people centre mostly on material and physical needs. They never ask God anything about their spiritual life and upliftment. This is not good.

People fret in the midst of troubles because they do not have that personal touch with God who can do all things. Such people have not proven the possibility of all things with God. David proved that there was nothing he would ask of God that he would not receive.

Again, why should a man like David bother himself with prayer? He was a king and he had everything money could buy and was not in want of anything. It was not lost on David that whether poor or rich, every man born of a woman has challenges which defy natural solutions. This is the point at which many people have erred. They try to manage their lives without inviting the Creator who knows everything about us. David’s prayer was to ask help of God. Today, many troubles that only the power of the Lord can solve do bother humans.

Whether single or married, rich or poor, employed or unemployed, literate or illiterate – man’s troubles are numerous. It will serve believers well to always go to God in prayer and exercise the same implicit confidence David exhibited. He was sure of surmounting every problem or challenge with the help of the Almighty. It is therefore, vain for anyone to indulge in self-management, which leads to avoidable regret and pains.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: Your destiny is hidden in Christ; don’t panic.

Lyrics: Not Enough By Dhamie Hilz

Hmmmm yeah
oh oh oh oh

If I had ten thousand tongues
And there were made of silver
It would not still be enough

Even if all my life
I lift my voice to praise you
It would not still be enough
For the things you’ve done
And your promises
For the battles
You have won for me
For the things you’ve done
And your promises
For the battle
You have won for me

CHORUS:
Kinni mo le fun o?
Kinni mo le fun o?
For the goodness and love you show me

Yeah

Oba awon Oba
(Uh uh)
Kabiesi
(Uh uh)
You are the great I am
You’re the Alpha and Omega
(Ah ah)
You parted the red Sea
(Ah ah)
And you can do what no man can do
(Ah ah)
You are Jehovah

CHORUS:
Kinni mo le fun o?
Kinni mo le fun o?
For the goodness and love you show me

ALL:
What can I give to you?
(What can I give?)
What can I give to you?
(For everything yeah)
For the goodness and love you show me
(Oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh)

What can I give to you?
(For the life)
What can I give to you?
(And the joy you give to me)
For the goodness an love you show me
(And the peace yeah)

Call: What can I give?
All: What can I give?
Till fade

Seeds Of Destiny Devotional – Spirituality Is Key

Pastor Paul Enenche

Dunamis’ Seeds of Destiny 10 February 2021 Devotional By Pastor Paul Enenche – Spirituality Is Key

Topic: Spirituality Is Key

The place you give to God in your life determines the place God gives to you.

SCRIPTURE: Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded. James 4:8.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: The place you give to God in your life determines the place God gives to you.

In our earlier study, we saw that spirituality is the bedrock of destiny. We noted that you cannot have a great destiny with a shallow spiritual life.

Today, I will like you to take note of the following key thoughts on spirituality, especially as it applies to life and destiny fulfilment:

i. Spirituality gives bearing to life and destiny (Luke 15:11-19)

Bearing can be likened to the control tower of an aircraft. Just as an aircraft crashes when it is out of touch with the control tower, destiny crashes when spirituality is out of place.

  1. The quality of your devotion to God determines the quality of your destiny on earth (Genesis 32:24-28).

To succeed with God is to succeed in life. To fail with God is to fail in life. Spirituality is a major course that determines our success in other courses of life. The quality of your devotion to God determines the quality of your destiny.

  1. The place you give to God determines the place you find in life (James 4:8).

The place you give to God in your life determines the place God gives to you. When you draw near to God, He will draw near to you (James 4:8).

  1. You cannot follow the Way and miss the road in life (John 14:6).

You cannot follow the Way (Jesus) and miss it in life. To get it right with God is to get it right in life. So, instead of saying, “Lord, why are things not working in my life?” It is better to say, “Lord, is my relationship with You working?” Everything in your life will work when your relationship with God begins to work.

My counsel is, give priority attention to your relationship with God above all things.

Remember this: The place you give to God in your life determines the place God gives to you.

ASSIGNMENTS:

  1. Make up your mind to give God quality time in personal devotion.
  2. Do not neglect your personal prayer altar.

PRAYER: Thank You Lord for the privilege of relationship with You. I ask that You give me the grace to maintain persistent prayer life, Lord, in Jesus’ Name.

FOR FURTHER UNDERSTANDING, GET THIS MESSAGE: FORCES OF DESTINY (PART 1).

QUOTE: The God-first mentality is what I call an incurable addiction to God; a brutal dedication to God. It is a situation in your life where God is first and last and everything else is in-between. Culled from “21 UNCOMMON KEYS TO FINANCIAL OVERFLOW” by Dr Paul Enenche.

DAILY READING: Joshua 1-4.

AMAZING FACT: Because of their strength of leadership, lions are the national animal of several countries.

PROPHETIC DECLARATION/WORD: Help with positive quality character is released for you in Jesus’ Name.

Today’s devotional was written by Pastor Paul Enenche of the Dunamis International Gospel Centre (DIGC), headquartered at Abuja, Nigeria, with Pastor Paul and Becky Enenche, as the Senior Pastors. DCLM Daily Manna – Vanity Of Boasting

DCLM Daily Manna

DCLM Daily Manna 10 February 2021 Devotional By Pastor W. F Kumuyi – Vanity Of Boasting

Topic: Vanity Of Boasting (DCLM Daily Manna 10 February 2021)

Text: Lamentations 2:1-10 (KJV)

1 How hath the Lord covered the daughter of Zion with a cloud in his anger, and cast down from heaven unto the earth the beauty of Israel, and remembered not his footstool in the day of his anger!

2 The Lord hath swallowed up all the habitations of Jacob, and hath not pitied: he hath thrown down in his wrath the strong holds of the daughter of Judah; he hath brought them down to the ground: he hath polluted the kingdom and the princes thereof.

3 He hath cut off in his fierce anger all the horn of Israel: he hath drawn back his right hand from before the enemy, and he burned against Jacob like a flaming fire, which devoureth round about.

4 He hath bent his bow like an enemy: he stood with his right hand as an adversary, and slew all that were pleasant to the eye in the tabernacle of the daughter of Zion: he poured out his fury like fire.

5 The Lord was as an enemy: he hath swallowed up Israel, he hath swallowed up all her palaces: he hath destroyed his strong holds, and hath increased in the daughter of Judah mourning and lamentation.

6 And he hath violently taken away his tabernacle, as if it were of a garden: he hath destroyed his places of the assembly: the LORD hath caused the solemn feasts and sabbaths to be forgotten in Zion, and hath despised in the indignation of his anger the king and the priest.

7 The Lord hath cast off his altar, he hath abhorred his sanctuary, he hath given up into the hand of the enemy the walls of her palaces; they have made a noise in the house of the LORD, as in the day of a solemn feast.

8 The LORD hath purposed to destroy the wall of the daughter of Zion: he hath stretched out a line, he hath not withdrawn his hand from destroying: therefore he made the rampart and the wall to lament; they languished together.

9 Her gates are sunk into the ground; he hath destroyed and broken her bars: her king and her princes are among the Gentiles: the law is no more; her prophets also find no vision from the LORD.

10 The elders of the daughter of Zion sit upon the ground, and keep silence: they have cast up dust upon their heads; they have girded themselves with sackcloth: the virgins of Jerusalem hang down their heads to the ground.

Key Verse: “How hath the Lord covered the daughter of Zion with a cloud in his anger, and cast down from heaven unto the earth the beauty of Israel, and remembered not his footstool in the day of his anger!” (Lamentations 2:1).

MESSAGE:

The French philosopher, Voltaire was quoted as saying that “A hundred years from my death and the Bible will be a museum place”. It was reported that a hundred years after his death, the French Bible Society set up its headquarters in Voltaire’s old home in Paris.

God worked against Jacob (Israel) and Judah in the time of their apostasy. He also poured out judgment upon the people because they had rebelled against His will. The beauty of Israel was always unmatched because the glory of God radiated in it. The daughters of Zion were a special breed, beauty personified and cynosure of all eyes. But when sin was found in Israel, all that made her attractive died. The beauty faded off. This is what happens when God withdraws His presence and favour.

Some people are like Voltaire. They brag about their huge success in their fields of endeavour, careers, families, etc., and attribute none of such to God’s special favour. Instead, they turn such blessings into instruments of disrespect for God. In the twinkling of an eye, all they boast of is gone.

To ensure our ‘beauty’ (whether they are career progress, family, financial or academic successes) remains, we must always hold in optimum reverence the Source – the almighty God. Those who may have erred wilfully or in ignorance can seek His mercy today. Take a moment and pause; reflect on how the enemy has entered, and then turn to the Lord. Return to the true Source of beauty and regain your radiating power from the Almighty.

Thought For The Day: Beauty is vain without God’s glory.

Lyrics: I Thank God By Maverick City Music

[Verse 1]
Wandering into the Night
Wanting a Place to Hide
This weary Soul, this Bag of Bones
And I Tried with all my Mind
And I just can’t Win the Fight
I’m Slowly Drifting, oh Bag of Bone
And just when I Ran out of Road
I met a Man I didn’t know
And he told me that
I was not Alone

[Chorus]
He Picked me Up
Turned me Around
Placed my Feet on Solid Ground
I Thank the Master
I Thank the Savior,
Because he Healed my Heart
Changed my Name
Forever Free, I’m not the same
I Thank the Master
I Thank the Savior, I Thank GOD

[Verse 2]
I cannot deny what I See
Got no Choice but to Believe
My Doubts are Burning
Like Ashes in the Wind
So, so Long to my Old Friends
Burden and Bitter night
You can’t just keep them Moving
No you ain’t Welcome here
From now till I walk
The Streets of Gold
I’ll Sing of how you Saved my Soul
This Wayward Son
Has Found his way back Home

[Chorus]
He Picked me Up
Turned me Around
Placed my Feet on Solid Ground
I Thank the Master, I Thank the Savior,
Because he Healed my Heart
Changed my Name
Forever Free, I’m not the same
I Thank the Master
I Thank the Savior, I Thank GOD

[Bridge 1]
{ Hell Lost another One
I am Free, I am Free, I am Free
Hell Lost another One
I am Free, I am Free, I am Free } [Repeat]

[Chorus]
He Picked me Up
Turned me Around
Placed my Feet on Solid Ground
I Thank the Master, I Thank the Savior,
Because he Healed my Heart
Changed my Name
Forever Free, I’m not the same
I Thank the Master
I Thank the Savior, I Thank GOD

[Bridge 2]
If he did it for me, He can do it for You
Get-Up, get Up, get Up
Get Up out of that grave
Get-Up, get Up, get Up
Get Up out of that grave
If he did it for me, He can do it for You

The Testimony of Jesus
Is the Spirit of Prophesy
That means what he did for another
He can do it again
That means what he did for another
He can do it again

{Get-Up, get Up, get Up
Get Up out of that grave
Get-Up, get Up, get Up
Get Up out of that grave } [Repeat]

[Chorus]
He Picked me Up
Turned me Around
Placed my Feet on Solid Ground
I Thank the Master, I Thank the Savior,
Because he Healed my Heart
Changed my Name
Forever Free, I’m not the same
I Thank the Master
I Thank the Savior, I Thank GOD

Seeds Of Destiny Devotional – Going Far With God

Pastor Paul Enenche

Dunamis’ Seeds of Destiny 8 February 2021 Devotional By Pastor Paul Enenche – Going Far With God

Topic: Going Far With God

You can’t go far with God and lag behind in life. You cannot be a success with God and be a failure on earth.

SCRIPTURE: But the path of the just is as the shining light, that shineth more and more unto the perfect day. Proverbs 4:18.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: You can’t go far with God and lag behind in life. You cannot be a success with God and be a failure on earth.

When I was in the university as a medical student, by the grace of God, I was the president of the medical students’ fellowship on my campus. Later on, I became the national president of the fellowship. This made me to travel from one university campus to another preaching to medical students.

I remember returning from one of such trips and I was left with just forty eight hours to write an examination on a two-year course. In preparing to write the examination, I remember sitting up from night till morning to study. By the time I lifted up my eyes, the sun had risen on the horizon, yet I still had more to read. Then I asked God to help me, having done all I could do.

I went in for the examination and misunderstood one question. The question was, “Write the autopsy findings of a man dying of primary liver cell cancer”. I simply wrote that the man has not died yet, so, an autopsy wasn’t necessary. My answer was just one line and that question had about 25% of the total marks obtainable.

When I realised what I did, I said, “Lord, you know what I would have written, just that I misunderstood the question.”

Later, the departmental staff who marked my script saw me at the teaching hospital and congratulated me for a great performance. God did it for me. And when God writes for you, you cannot fail.

Beloved, I went all the way with God in the assignment of the Kingdom, and He proved to me that you cannot go far with Him and lag behind in life. Indeed you can’t go far with God and lag behind in life (Proverbs 4:18). In case you are not making progress in life, make sure you are making progress with God because you cannot be a success with God and be a failure on earth.

Remember this: You can’t go far with God and lag behind in life. You cannot be a success with God and be a failure on earth.

DCLM Daily Manna – God Deserves A “Beautiful House”

DCLM Daily Manna

DCLM Daily Manna 8 February 2021 Devotional By Pastor W. F Kumuyi – God Deserves A “Beautiful House”.

Topic: God Deserves A “Beautiful House” (DCLM Daily Manna 8 February 2021)

Text: 2 Chronicles 4:9-22 (KJV)

9 Furthermore he made the court of the priests, and the great court, and doors for the court, and overlaid the doors of them with brass.

10 And he set the sea on the right side of the east end, over against the south.

11 And Huram made the pots, and the shovels, and the basons. And Huram finished the work that he was to make for king Solomon for the house of God;

12 To wit, the two pillars, and the pommels, and the chapiters which were on the top of the two pillars, and the two wreaths to cover the two pommels of the chapiters which were on the top of the pillars;

13 And four hundred pomegranates on the two wreaths; two rows of pomegranates on each wreath, to cover the two pommels of the chapiters which were upon the pillars.

14 He made also bases, and lavers made he upon the bases;

15 One sea, and twelve oxen under it.

16 The pots also, and the shovels, and the fleshhooks, and all their instruments, did Huram his father make to king Solomon for the house of the LORD of bright brass.

17 In the plain of Jordan did the king cast them, in the clay ground between Succoth and Zeredathah.

18 Thus Solomon made all these vessels in great abundance: for the weight of the brass could not be found out.

19 And Solomon made all the vessels that were for the house of God, the golden altar also, and the tables whereon the shewbread was set;

20 Moreover the candlesticks with their lamps, that they should burn after the manner before the oracle, of pure gold;

21 And the flowers, and the lamps, and the tongs, made he of gold, and that perfect gold;

22 And the snuffers, and the basons, and the spoons, and the censers, of pure gold: and the entry of the house, the inner doors thereof for the most holy place, and the doors of the house of the temple, were of gold.

Key Verse: “Thus Solomon made all these vessels in great abundance: for the weight of the brass could not be found out.” – (2 Chronicles 4:18)

MESSAGE:

Jonathan Edwards was an American revivalist preacher, philosopher and congregationalist protestant theologian. He wrote, “For as God is infinitely the greatest Being, so He is allowed to be infinitely the most beautiful and excellent: and all the beauty to be found throughout the whole creation is but the reflection of the diffused beams of that Being who hath an infinite fullness of brightness and glory. God… is the foundation and fountain of all beings and all beauty”.

Our God delights in everything that is beautiful. He deserves the best. As of March 4, 2020, Buckingham Palace, London was said to be worth $1.55 billion, although it is unlikely to come on the market anytime soon. The palatial residence of Great Britain’s Queen Elizabeth II is generally agreed to be the world’s most valuable residence. If men could commit such huge resources to build houses for themselves, how much more the house of God!

King Solomon realised the need to make this worthy investment by giving the best to the Source of wealth, through whom all blessings flow. God delights in things that portray His beauty. Solomon realised that God was the Source of his wealth; as a result, he spared nothing – material or human resources – in showing gratitude to the Lord.

It is amazing nowadays that some believers do not take delight in building a befitting house for God. They are also not willing to participate in decorating existing ones. Yet, they make their own houses and apartments very comfortable while completely neglecting the house of God. The Lord is in search of people today who would take up the responsibility to make His house habitable. We must give God the honour due Him. This will always gladden the heart of the Almighty.

Thought For The Day: Don’t give God what would cost you nothing.
