[ALBUM] Born Of God – Ada Ehi

[ALBUM] Born Of God - Ada Ehi

Singer, songwriter and performing artiste Ada Ogochukwu Ehi, popularly known by the stage name Ada Ehi releases her fifth studio album, ‘Born Of God‘.

With her creative sound being gospel pop complemented by a unique blend of afro-pop and electric dance, the sixteen-track album is a cascade of melodies heralded in a melange of uplifting sounds. In ‘Born Of God‘, Ada outdoes herself with a balance of engaging rhythms littered by the prominence of drums; and creating a spiritual atmosphere that underlies a resonant passion felt throughout her album.

According to her: ‘It’s the slowest album I have ever made. I didn’t want to lose the origin of my audience and I didn’t want it to be perceived only as a worship album’.

The charismatic singer catered to practically everyone’s sound choices in her new body of work; that way, people can find their personal messages in their sound favourites: ‘I want to pass the message of faith, hope and love. I really wanted to inspire hope, especially with a year like 2020 where people aren’t sure of where they’re going with the coronavirus pandemic and all. People are unsure whether to be excited or not for the coming year so I hope I have been able to inspire people with this new album and wish that people find their soundtracks within the album’.

Once again, with ‘Born Of God‘, Ada has checked all the boxes and has set a standard of excellence in gospel music.

Seeds Of Destiny Devotional – Beginning With God Through Inquiry

Pastor Paul Enenche

Dunamis’ Seeds of Destiny 1 January 2021 Devotional By Pastor Paul Enenche – Beginning With God Through Inquiry

Topic: Beginning With God Through Inquiry

One way to begin with God and to have the most fruitful and fulfilling year is by engaging in prayer of enquiry.

SCRIPTURE: And he said, Who art thou, Lord? And the Lord said, I am Jesus whom thou persecutest: it is hard for thee to kick against the pricks. Acts 9:1

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: One way to begin with God and to have the most fruitful and fulfilling year is by engaging in prayer of enquiry.

Happy New Year! You are welcome to the year 2021. In this New Year, God shall do new things in your life in Jesus’ Name (Isaiah 43:19).

Today, being the first day of the year, 2021, it is very important to begin the journey of the year with God in order to know and walk in His purpose for your life. God knows the end of a thing from the beginning because He is the Beginning and the End (Rev.22:13).

Now, one way to begin with God and to have the most fruitful and fulfilling year is by engaging in prayer of enquiry. This is a situation where you ask God specific questions at the place of prayer and you trust Him for definite answers. This is my usual practice at crucial points of my life.

Many years ago, I was at a junction of life. My wife and I had different great opportunities and openings. We had offers to the United Kingdom for further studies in Medicine and probably to practice there. In fact, at that time, there were about three different openings.

So, I decided to wait on God for three days in prayer and fasting. I asked Him, “O Lord, what do you want to do with my life? I have several openings, which direction do you want me to go?”

As I prayed, I didn’t hear anything from the Lord the first day. Then in the evening on the second day, God began to speak to me: “The time for the call that I have been talking to you about has come”. He asked me to come to the city of Abuja and also gave me further details concerning the Ministry.

Beloved, we have the God Who gives direction. If He doesn’t speak to you through the inner voice, He will speak to you through dreams, visions or revelations.

My counsel is, begin with God this year through prayer of inquiry to know what He wants you to do with your life.

Remember this: One way to begin with God and to have the most fruitful and fulfilling year is by engaging in prayer of enquiry.

ASSIGNMENTS:

  1. Make up your mind to find out from God His plans for your life and destiny this year.
  2. Take out some days to be alone with God to know His mind for your life.

PRAYER: O Lord, I ask that You draw me closer to Your Presence. I ask for the revelation of Your purpose for my life this year, Lord, in Jesus’ Name.

FOR FURTHER UNDERSTANDING, GET THIS MESSAGE: THE PATH OF VISION.

QUOTE: Be very sensitive. Do not take spiritual signals for granted. Many people do not know what we call a burden for prayer. If you find yourself in the midst of people and all of a sudden, you feel like moving aside to pray, move! Culled from “15 KINGDOM STRATEGIES FOR SURVIVAL” by Dr Paul Enenche.

DAILY READING: Genesis 1-5

AMAZING FACT: At birth, baby kangaroos are only about an inch long – no bigger than a large water bug or a queen bee. But the wonder of growth makes them big animals.

PROPHETIC DECLARATION/WORD: The Lord bring clarity to you regarding the year ahead of you. It shall be well in Jesus’ Name.

Today’s devotional was written by Pastor Paul Enenche of the Dunamis International Gospel Centre (DIGC), headquartered at Abuja, Nigeria, with Pastor Paul and Becky Enenche, as the Senior Pastors. It is a power-packed arena where God’s Presence, Principles and Power are at work for the salvation, healing and restoration of human destinies and dignities

DCLM Daily Manna – Let Emmanuel Guide You

DCLM Daily Manna

Topic: Let Emmanuel Guide You [DCLM Daily Manna 1 January 2021 Devotional By Pastor William Folorunso Kumuyi]

Text: Genesis 1:1, 2 (KJV)

1 In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.

2 And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.

Key Verse: “In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth” (Genesis 1:1).

MESSAGE:

The New Year is ushering in hundreds of thousands of children into the world today. According to the United Nations, the globe welcomes about 360,000 new inhabitants every day. Coming in at the behest of their Creator, this vast army of infants joins many more millions of older souls to complete the picture of the splendid work and orderliness of divinity dating back to when it all began on creation day.

The prehistory rendition of the birth of heaven and earth is the Bible’s irrefutable record of the starting point of life on earth. The narrative has not only fascinated earthlings but also led to priceless lessons about man’s journey through life. The legendary words, “In the beginning”, teach primarily that our God commenced a project, which became an irreversible move that has continued to benefit man over the ages.

So, as we begin a new year today, the same way some millions of newborns would be making it into a new world, we must remember that God sets the pace for new beginnings. After these opening stages, He went on to bring shape and comeliness into the planet. Vacuity and formlessness vanished. Desolation disappeared. Life sprang up. On land and sea and in the air, nature sang songs to celebrate the great God who brought them into being as His “Spirit… moved upon the face of the waters.”

For those who have accepted God’s plan of salvation through faith in His Son Jesus Christ, marching into the New Year is a walk with the Spirit of God who can tide us over whatever the year holds in store. The follower of Christ starts the first day of the year with his Lord and stays with Him every moment all year-round and all his life. The sinners are not left out. They can be part of the big throng of the blessed if they repent of their breach of heaven’s laws.

Thought For The Day: Begin the new year with Emmanuel!

The Bible In One Year: Genesis 1-3

DCLM Daily Manna was written by Pastor William Folorunso Kumuyi; is the founder and General Superintendent of the Deeper Life Bible Church situated at KM 42 on the busy Lagos-Ibadan Expressway, Nigeria.

Dunamis’ Seeds of Destiny 30 December 2020 Devotional By Pastor Paul Enenche – Putting Satan To Work Through Bitterness

Topic: Putting Satan To Work Through Bitterness

Bitterness puts satan to work; bitterness engages satanic activity.

SCRIPTURE: For where envying and strife is, there is confusion and every evil work. James 3:16

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: Bitterness puts satan to work; bitterness engages satanic activity.

Bitterness, according to our anchor Scripture invites evil work. Bitterness invites every form of evil work. Bitterness, unforgiveness, hatred invites the work of satan in the life of a person.

James 3:16 says, For where envying and strife is, there is confusion and every evil work.

To put it in another way: bitterness puts satan to work; bitterness engages satanic activity. And the worst thing that can happen to anybody on earth is to walk with, or work for satan. Anywhere there is envy, and strife, satan is at work. Now, let me ask you a question: is it possible for a person to walk with satan on earth and then stop walking with satan in eternity? No! The walk continues in eternity because the earth is only a temporary venue for satan – hell is his eternal headquarters.

If you are working together with satan on earth, you will continue with him in hell which is his headquarters. Show me a bitter pastor and I will show you a pastor in whose life satan is at work. Show me a bitter husband or a bitter wife, and I will show you a wife or a husband in whose life satan is at work. This is why it is a tragedy to harbour bitterness in your life.

Beloved, refuse to engage satan to work in your life. Repent from every form of bitterness and envy.

Remember this: Bitterness puts satan to work; bitterness engages satanic activity.

ASSIGNMENTS:

  1. Refuse to work with satan by escaping the trap of bitterness.
  2. Partner with God by displaying His Nature of love.

PRAYER: O Lord, I refuse to partner with satan by displaying hatred. I receive grace to manifest Your nature of love, Lord, in Jesus’ Name.

FOR FURTHER UNDERSTANDING, GET THIS MESSAGE: THE HELL-WAY OF BITTERNESS (PART 2).

QUOTE: When you become condemning, judgmental, vindictive, vengeful and bitter, you lay the foundation for your own judgment. You expose yourself for the judgment of God. Life is a seed: what you sow is what you reap. Culled from “WHO ARE YOU?” by Dr Paul Enenche.

DAILY READING: Revelation 17-19

AMAZING FACT: The muscles which help your eyes to focus complete around 100,000 movements a day. In order to make your leg muscles do the same amount of movements, you would need to walk 80 kilometres.

PROPHETIC DECLARATION/WORD: The Spirit of love overwhelm your life in this season in Jesus’ Name.

Today’s devotional was written by Pastor Paul Enenche of the Dunamis International Gospel Centre (DIGC), headquartered at Abuja, Nigeria, with Pastor Paul and Becky Enenche, as the Senior Pastors. DCLM Daily Manna – The Word Is The Armour

DCLM Daily Manna

DCLM Daily Manna 30 December 2020 Devotional By Pastor William Folorunso Kumuyi

Topic: The Word Is The Armour

Text: Psalm 119:137-144 (KJV)

137 TZADDI. Righteous art thou, O LORD, and upright are thy judgments.

138 Thy testimonies that thou hast commanded are righteous and very faithful.

139 My zeal hath consumed me, because mine enemies have forgotten thy words.

140 Thy word is very pure: therefore thy servant loveth it.

141 I am small and despised: yet do not I forget thy precepts.

142 Thy righteousness is an everlasting righteousness, and thy law is the truth.

143 Trouble and anguish have taken hold on me: yet thy commandments are my delights.

144 The righteousness of thy testimonies is everlasting: give me understanding, and I shall live.

Key Verse: “Trouble and anguish have taken hold on me: yet thy commandments are my delights.” – (Psalm 119:143)

MESSAGE:

An article appeared in the San Francisco Chronicle in the United States of America years ago which spoke about the trouble and anguish animals face in the jungles of Africa. “Every morning in Africa,” the writer said, “a gazelle wakes up. It knows it must run faster than the fastest lion or it will be killed. Every morning a lion wakes up. It knows it must outrun the … gazelle or it will starve to death. It does not matter whether you’re a lion or a gazelle; when the sun is up, you’d better be running.”

The inspired psalmist in our test is wiser. He knows where to flee to when harassed by the ferocious enemy, unlike the beasts of the woods scampering for safety in mortal fear of starvation and death. Instead of anxiety that robs him of joy and peace, the redeemed Psalmist plunges himself in God’s commandments which are “my delights”. He is not among so-termed believers who run from pillar to post at the onset of challenges.

The days of crises are moments to remember the precepts of the Lord. The Psalmist says although he is “small and despised”, he will not forget the laws of the Lord, which are able to make up for his spiritual shortcomings or physical deficiencies. We are not to bemoan our inadequacies when faithfully serving the Master. We operate on His Strength, not on ours or the world’s. As Apostle Paul acknowledged, Jesus is our Sufficiency.

The respected British preacher, Charles Spurgeon, wrote: “If you are not seeking the Lord, the devil is seeking you.” And his aim is destruction of the soul. The chief way to seek the Lord and prevent the devil from seeking to ruin you is to surround yourself with His laws day and night. It is the way to survive, according to the psalmist.

Thought For The Day: Keeping God’s word outwits the devil.
