My covenant will I not break, nor alter the thing that is gone out of my lips. God’s Word… it’s a letter filled with His promises to all who believe ,Blessed is the man who truly knows God as his Covenant God; who knows what the Covenant promises him; what unwavering confidence of expectation it secures, that all its terms will be fulfilled to him; what a claim and hold it gives him on the Covenant-keeping God Himself. But those who wait on the Lord, Shall renew their strength; They shall mount up with wings like eagles, They shall run and not be weary, They shall walk and not faint. Isaiah 40:31″

C.A.C Daily Devotional – Water The Flock

The Living Water -  Christ Apostolic Church Daily Devotional Guide

The Living Water –  Christ Apostolic Church Daily Devotional Guide

Date: Tuesday, August 25, 2020

Topic: Water The Flock

Read: Genesis 29:2,3

Genesis‬ ‭29:2-3‬ ‭KJVA‬“And he looked, and behold a well in the field, and, lo, there were three flocks of sheep lying by it; for out of that well they watered the flocks: and a great stone was upon the well’s mouth. And thither were all the flocks gathered: and they rolled the stone from the well’s mouth, and watered the sheep, and put the stone again upon the well’s mouth in his place.”
‭‭‬

MEMORISE:
“Woe to the shepherds who destroy and scatter the sheep of My pasture!” says the Lord (Jeremiah 23:1)

EXPOSITION
Water is one of the most important factors in the consideration of an industry in a given place. It is so important that man, plants and animals cannot survive without it. In the Bible, certain references were made to Jacob’s well, Isaac’s well and now, Laban had some wells from where his flocks drank. The Church is God’s industry in our hands; the survival of which depends on how well is being watered and from which well. Of course, the Word of God is the Water of the Spirit. It is the fountain of life and whoever drinks will never thirst again. Water quenches thirst, having eaten solid food. It is a pity that many churches’ flocks are fed with only food without drink, and so, they die of dehydration. David knew the importance of water to man that he likened him to a tree planted by the riverside He shall be like a tree Planted by the rivers of water, that brings forth its fruit in its season, Whose leaf also shall not wither; And whatever he does shall prosper (Ps. 1:3).

God’s ministers must ensure they don’t give the people Jericho bitter water. Like the well of Laban was always lowered after use, we must ensure the people of God are not poisoned as some are careless today. Let us feed the flock of God with the living water (Jn. 7:38, 39) we are commended to feed the church: old and young (Jn. 21:15-17), and not with another gospel (Gal. 1:8). Are people born again in your church, or they are only numbers who are not numbered with Christ anyway. Though, multitudes came to Pentecost really, only about 3000 were numbered with Christ. While 3000 people died at the giving of the law, 3000 were delivered to Christ when He was given to them (Ex. 32:28; Acts 2:41). So, feed the flock with quality words of life.

PRAYER POINTS
1. Lord, quench my thirst with water from Your Own fountain.
2. Lord, help families to take the matter of family devotion seriously, so as to escape the dilutions outside there.
3. Father Lord, refresh Your ministers to be apt to teach heavenly, gospel messages that edify the Church and the nation.

Seeds Of Destiny Devotional – Living With Eternity In View

Paul Enenche

Dunamis’ Seeds of Destiny 25 August 2020 Devotional by Pastor Paul Enenche — Living With Eternity In View

Topic: Living With Eternity In View

Living with eternity in view is living prepared. It is not trying to get prepared; you are already prepared!

SCRIPTURE: For this world is not our permanent home; we are looking forward to a home yet to come. Hebrews 13:14 (NLT)

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: To live with eternity in view is to know that you have a home beyond the earth.

Recently, I preached two messages on the end time. The titles of these messages are, “Surviving the Last Days” and “Living with Eternity in View”.

Now, when we hear a statement like, “Living with eternity in view”, many times, people don’t understand exactly what it means.

That is why, today, I will like us to see what it means to live with eternity in view.

  1. Living in the present with the end in mind.

Living with eternity in view is living in this present time with the end in mind. It is living in the present with the end in perspective (1 Peter 4:7). That is to say, even though you are alive today, the end is on your mind.

  1. Living and conducting our life’s actions with eternity as major consideration.

Living with eternity in view is asking yourself questions like: “Where will my life end with what I am doing now? Where will this particular action or lifestyle lead me to in the end?” Living with eternity in view is living and conducting our life’s actions with eternity as the major consideration. It is knowing that everything we do on earth has eternal implications (Ecclesiastes 12:13-14); it is knowing that earthly actions have eternal consequences.

  1. Living in the NOW with readiness and preparedness for eternity.

Living with eternity in view is living prepared. It is not trying to get prepared; you are already prepared (Matthew 25:13, Matthew 24:44-45)

Living with eternity in view is living with readiness and preparedness for eternity.

  1. Living as strangers and pilgrims in the earth.

It is living with the full knowledge that this world is not your home (1 Peter 2:11). Living with eternity in view is knowing that you have a home beyond the earth.

  1. Living in the world without forgetting yourself in the world.

Many people forget themselves in this world by the way they do things; they do not look unto Jesus (Philippians 3:20). They have forgotten who they are and where they are going. Living with eternity in view is living as a citizen of heaven while on earth.

Remember this: Living with eternity in view is knowing that you have a home beyond the earth.

ASSIGNMENTS:

  1. Be conscious of eternity in all that you say or do.
  2. Live as a stranger and pilgrim in the earth.
  3. Never forget yourself in the world.

PRAYER: Thank You Lord for the constant revelation of Your Word to me. I receive the grace to live my life with eternity in view Lord, in Jesus’ Name.

FOR FURTHER UNDERSTANDING, GET THIS MESSAGE: LIVING WITH ETERNITY IN VIEW

QUOTE: What are you looking forward to in eternity? Are you sure that a pleasant welcome awaits you? If you had died before this time, where do you think you deserved to be, considering your action, lifestyle and life’s priorities? Culled from “15 KINGDOM STRATEGIES FOR SURVIVAL” by Dr Paul Enenche.

DAILY READING: Ezekiel 1-3

AMAZING FACT: An adult person performs around 23,000 inhalations and exhalations a day.

PROPHETIC DECLARATION/WORD: Grace to live with eternity in view is released upon you now in Jesus’ Name.

Today’s devotional was written by Pastor Paul Enenche of the Dunamis International Gospel Centre (DIGC), headquartered at Abuja, Nigeria, with Pastor Paul and Becky Enenche, as the Senior Pastors. DCLM Daily Manna – Rejected Even In Death

DCLM Daily Manna

Topic: Rejected Even In Death [DCLM Daily Manna 24 August 2020 Devotional by Pastor William Folorunso Kumuyi]

Text: 2 Chronicles 21:12-20 (KJV)

12 And there came a writing to him from Elijah the prophet, saying, Thus saith the LORD God of David thy father, Because thou hast not walked in the ways of Jehoshaphat thy father, nor in the ways of Asa king of Judah,

13 But hast walked in the way of the kings of Israel, and hast made Judah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem to go a whoring, like to the whoredoms of the house of Ahab, and also hast slain thy brethren of thy father’s house, which were better than thyself:

14 Behold, with a great plague will the LORD smite thy people, and thy children, and thy wives, and all thy goods:

15 And thou shalt have great sickness by disease of thy bowels, until thy bowels fall out by reason of the sickness day by day.

16 Moreover the LORD stirred up against Jehoram the spirit of the Philistines, and of the Arabians, that were near the Ethiopians:

17 And they came up into Judah, and brake into it, and carried away all the substance that was found in the king’s house, and his sons also, and his wives; so that there was never a son left him, save Jehoahaz, the youngest of his sons.

18 And after all this the LORD smote him in his bowels with an incurable disease.

19 And it came to pass, that in process of time, after the end of two years, his bowels fell out by reason of his sickness: so he died of sore diseases. And his people made no burning for him, like the burning of his fathers.

20 Thirty and two years old was he when he began to reign, and he reigned in Jerusalem eight years, and departed without being desired. Howbeit they buried him in the city of David, but not in the sepulchres of the kings.

Key Verse: “Thirty and two years old was he when he began to reign, and he reigned in Jerusalem eight years, and departed without being desired. Howbeit they buried him in the city of David, but not in the sepulchre of the kings.” – (2 Chronicles 21:20)

MESSAGE:

The way people react at the news of a person’s death often reveals what the deceased meant to his people when he was alive. In Nigeria, there was a time that the death of a particular leader was greeted with cheers and jubilation. He was not mourned by the generality of the people; rather, his death was viewed as a good riddance. What this means is that the person when alive, did not live a good life that was appreciated by the people.

Jehoram was that kind of person too. His ascension to the throne brought about all forms of atrocities and wickedness. The first thing he did was to kill all his brothers for fear of being rivalled. He went on to rubbish all the good works that his father Jehoshaphat did and reintroduced idol worship in the land. His evils were so great that God sent a warning of judgment to him through Elijah the prophet but he never bothered. He eventually died according to the words of the man of God, but the people did not mourn his death.

Death is always a strong reminder that our life on earth is a short one. No matter who we are, what we have and where we have reached in life, an end will come one day. What will matter then will not be what we had but how we lived our lives.

How do you live your life now that you are alive? Do people groan under you because of your wicked and oppressive nature? Or, is your life such a pleasant one that everyone rejoices to basks in its sunshine? What will people say about you when death finally takes you away? Would they heave a sigh of relief or mourn that they would miss you? Remember, if men reject you for the kind of wicked life you lived, heaven will never accept you!

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: Heaven cannot welcome you when the world rejects you for your wickedness.

THE BIBLE IN ONE YEAR: Psalm 24-30

DCLM Daily Manna was written by Pastor William Folorunso Kumuyi; is the founder and General Superintendent of the Deeper Life Bible Church situated at KM 42 on the busy Lagos-Ibadan Expressway, Nigeria.

Sinach Makes Africa’s Most Influential Women List

Gospel music minister, Osinachi Kalu popularly known as ‘Sinach’ makes a record on the list of 2020 ‘100 Most Influential Women in Africa’ by Avance Media.

The Ghana-based avance media list is an annual compilation achieved through a public nomination. Selected from 34 countries across the African continent, the women are essentially leaders in various fields of endeavor and role models for the younger generation.

C.A.C Daily Devotional – Donation Not Duration

The Living Water -  Christ Apostolic Church Daily Devotional Guide

The Living Water –  Christ Apostolic Church Daily Devotional Guide

Date: Monday, August 24, 2020

Topic: Donation Not Duration

Read: Acts 20:31-36

Acts 20:31-36‭ESV “Therefore be alert, remembering that for three years I did not cease night or day to admonish every one with tears. And now I commend you to God and to the word of his grace, which is able to build you up and to give you the inheritance among all those who are sanctified. I coveted no one’s silver or gold or apparel. You yourselves know that these hands ministered to my necessities and to those who were with me. In all things I have shown you that by working hard in this way we must help the weak and remember the words of the Lord Jesus, how he himself said, ‘It is more blessed to give than to receive.’ ” And when he had said these things, he knelt down and prayed with them all.”

MEMORISE:
Who once was unprofitable to you, but now is profitable to you and to me (Philemon 1:11)

EXPOSITION
Duration is the amount of time, or a particular time interval. It is the period between the day of birth and death of man. That is the period allotted to man to carry out all he has to do in this world. It is the time to fulfil God-given assignment; the time to achieve purpose and make all impact. The period set aside for a particular task.

Donation on the other hand, is voluntary gift or contribution for a specific course. It is your impact, your sacrifice, your effort towards a goal set. It is your accomplishment that benefits others. It is the writing of one’s name in gold. It is the contribution that leaves mark in the sand of life; the period to accomplish the work that speaks after death. The length of time spent in this world determines not the value/quality of life of a man, but his contribution to better the lives of people he comes across in life. It is his impact on fellow human beings; the very change man brought to the world.
Onesimus would have been a failure but for Apostle Paul who worked with Christ to remould and redirect his life (Phil. 1:11), leading him to Christ and correcting his character deficiency from a useless fellow to a very useful one.

Dear devout, what will be your contribution to that young person next to you – what you give, not what you take? What are your family, community, and associates going to benefit from you? What is your contribution to the advancement of Christ’s Kingdom? You have gotten something to donate. Dorcas donated her hands; the widow of Zarephath, a meal. Remember, you are not here to live forever. Those that were around yesterday are no more. Don’t forget that it is the contribution of someone that made you whom you are now. Don’t live a life of no impact. Contribute your best now, for it is not needed in the grave.

PRAYER POINTS
1. I refuse to live a purposeless life, I will fulfil my destiny and affect my generation positively.
2. Pray that God will connect you with people that matter to your life and destiny.
3. Pray that God will raise people that will rule this nation in God’s own way.

Seeds Of Destiny Devotional – Fundamental Facts About Life

Paul Enenche

Dunamis’ Seeds Of Destiny 24 August 2020 Devotional By Pastor Paul Enenche — Fundamental Facts About Life

Topic: Fundamental Facts About Life

Where a person ends on earth is not the end of life; rather, it’s the beginning of another phase, which is an endless life in eternity.

SCRIPTURE: And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life and some to shame and everlasting contempt. Daniel 12:2.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: Everyone will either have everlasting life with God in heaven or shame and everlasting contempt with satan in hell.

God is the Owner and Giver of life. He gave us life to use it for His pleasure (Revelation 4:11).

However, many people don’t know many things about life. In our study today, we shall x-ray four fundamental facts about life.

  1. Man is an eternal being made in the image and likeness of an eternal God

Genesis 1:27 says, So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.

This means, everyone you see will live forever. Everyone that is ever born will live forever.

  1. Man’s life on earth is a temporary adventure; a fraction of his overall life.

James 4:14 says, Whereas ye know not what shall be on the morrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapour, that appeareth for a little time, and then vanisheth away.

Man’s life on earth is a temporary adventure. Man’s existence on earth is a tiny fraction of his overall life. Life on earth is an infinitesimal fragment of life in eternity.

  1. The end of earthly life is the beginning of endless life in eternity.

Where a person ends on earth is not the end of life; rather, it’s the beginning of another phase, which is an endless life in eternity.

Daniel 12:2 says, And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life and some to shame and everlasting contempt.

Everyone will either have everlasting life with God in heaven or shame and everlasting contempt with satan in hell. So, the end of earthly life is the beginning of an endless life in eternity. Everyone will live forever after death, either in heaven or in hell.

  1. God does not desire for anyone to be lost in hell.

God desires for people to live with Him forever in heaven. He does not desire for anyone to be lost in hell. God is not looking for people to send to hell. It is possible to hear some messages that sound as if God is satisfied by the number of people He sends to hell. It is not true! Scriptures make it clear that hell was not created for man but for the devil and his angels (Matthew 25:42).

So, God has no desire for the loss or perishing of any soul (2 Peter 3:9).

Beloved, my counsel is, since a greater bulk of our life will be spent in eternity, wisdom demands that we pay attention to our eternal destination, the place where we shall spend the endless phase of our life.

Remember this: Everyone will either have everlasting life with God in heaven or have shame and everlasting contempt with satan in hell.

ASSIGNMENTS:

  1. Go through today’s message again.
  2. Refuse to live in a way that will jeopardise your eternity with God in Heaven.
  3. Live your life to please God always.

PRAYER: Lord, I am grateful to You for opening my eyes to see the facts of life. I ask that You give me the grace not to miss eternity with You in heaven, Lord, in Jesus’ Name.

Jesus all the glory to your name

What we can imagine
