Seeds Of Destiny Devotional – Your Mind – Your Gateway To Your Future

Seeds Of Destiny Devotional

Dunamis Seeds Of Destiny 15 April 2024 Devotional By Dr. Paul Enenche: Your Mind – Your Gateway To Your Future

TOPIC: Your Mind – Your Gateway To Your Future (Seeds Of Destiny 15 April 2024)

SCRIPTURE: Now therefore let Pharaoh look out a man discreet and wise, and set him over the land of Egypt. Let Pharaoh do this, and let him appoint officers over the land, and take up the fifth part of the land of Egypt in the seven plenteous years. – Genesis 41:33-34.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: Your gift may make you see some measure of result, but it takes your mind to arrive at your future.

MESSAGE:

While Joseph was in Prison, he was interpreting other people’s dreams. Then, Pharaoh, the king of Egypt had a troubling dream. The chief butler, whose dream he once interpreted, told Pharaoh about Joseph, and Pharaoh sent for him.

Joseph came before Pharaoh, and Pharaoh asked him a question, “I have dreamt a dream, can you interpret it for me?”
Joseph told him that he could interpret his dream.
Thus, Joseph interpreted Pharaoh’s dream and also gave the solution to the dream.
Now, if Joseph had stopped at interpreting the dream, Pharaoh would have probably appreciated him and said, “Thank you, Joseph. Please take this gift and go back to the prison”

But Joseph did not only interpret the dream; he gave the solution to the dream. Thus by his gift, he gave interpretation, but by his mind, he gave the solution. His gift brought him out of prison, but the gift could not keep him out of prison.

After interpreting Pharaoh’s dream, he went the extra mile and told Pharoah, “Pharaoh, I want you to appoint a wise man and set him over the land of Egypt to gather food in the first seven years of abundance against the seven years of famine.” (Genesis 41:33-37, paraphrased).
Joseph was describing himself to Pharoah.
And Pharaoh said to Joseph, “Why are you prescribing another person to me? You are the person.” That was how Joseph was appointed by Pharoah to do the job.

The truth is, your gift may make you see some measure of result, but it takes your mind to arrive at your future.

You need a correct mentality to be ushered into your correct destiny.
If you must fulfil your destiny, you must use your mind positively, productively and creatively.

REMEMBER THIS: Your gift may make you see some measure of result, but it takes your mind to arrive at your future.

ASSIGNMENTS:

  1. By all means, refuse to live with a blank mind.
  2. Develop your mind and make it a centre of solutions for your generation and your world.

PRAYER: Lord, I ask that You pour Your Anointing of supernatural wisdom upon my mind. Make my mind a centre of solutions for my generation, Lord, in Jesus’ Name.

DCLM Daily Manna – Christ’s Teaching On Humility

Pastor W. F. Kumuyi

DCLM Daily Manna 15 April 2024 Devotional By Pastor W. F. Kumuyi — Christ’s Teaching On Humility

TOPIC: Christ’s Teaching On Humility (DCLM Daily Manna 15 April 2024)

KEY VERSE: “Whosoever therefore shall humble himself as this little child, the same is greatest in the kingdom of heaven” (Matthew 18:4).

TEXT: Matthew 18:1-4 (KJV)

1 At the same time came the disciples unto Jesus, saying, Who is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven?

2 And Jesus called a little child unto him, and set him in the midst of them,

3 And said, Verily I say unto you, Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven.

4 Whosoever therefore shall humble himself as this little child, the same is greatest in the kingdom of heaven.

MESSAGE:

Shortly after he took over as the President of Tuskegee Institute in Alabama, Booker T. Washington, was walking in an exclusive section of town when he was stopped by a wealthy white woman. Not knowing the famous Professor Washington by sight, she asked if he would like to earn a few dollars by chopping wood for her. Because he had no pressing business at the moment, Professor Washington smiled, rolled up his sleeves and proceeded to do the humble chore she had requested. When he finished, he carried the logs into the house and stacked them by the fireplace. A little girl recognised him and later revealed his identity to the lady.

The next morning the embarrassed woman went to see Professor Washington in his office at the Institute and apologised profusely. “It’s perfectly all right, Madam,” he replied. “Occasionally I enjoy a little manual labour. Besides, it’s always a delight to do something for a friend.” She shook his hand warmly and assured him that his meek and gracious attitude had endeared him and his work to her heart. Not long afterward she showed her admiration by persuading some wealthy acquaintances to join her in donating thousands of dollars to the Tuskegee Institute.

In the text, we are introduced to a recurring debate among the disciples: “Who is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven?” Thinking that their Master’s messianic claim implied a temporal sovereignty and secular power, the disciples were looking forward to becoming dignitaries in this new Kingdom. In His response, Christ used a child to drive home the lesson. Children are teachable, unpretentious, submissive, willingly dependent on their parents and free from malice. Hence, their use as proper emblems of true Christianity.

True greatness is not in position, office, leadership, power, influence, fame, ability, great accomplishments or success. It is a matter of the inner life, involving a humble spirit and a pure heart.

As Christians, we should imbibe this meek and quiet spirit, which is of great price in the sight of God.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY
Are you humble enough to serve others?

Emmanuel Iren, the pastor of Celebration Church International, has recently unveiled the live recording of his latest track called “Agallio,” which features the remarkable vocals of renowned gospel artist Nathaniel Bassey.

According to Pastor Iren, Agallio” means “Rejoice, It refers to an exuberant and passionate type of rejoicing that will involve some spinning, jumping and shouting.

This was Jesus’ response in Luke 10:21. The bible says, “In that hour, Jesus rejoiced in the Spirit.” In our culture, people only rejoice in response to music, but Jesus was responding to revelation knowledge.

It is my prayer that this song births in you a new dimension of joy, in which you rejoice in response to what God has said concerning you, even when the circumstances around you appears to be contrary.”

Seeds Of Destiny Devotional – Love Fuels Faith

Paul Enenche

Dunamis Seeds Of Destiny 14 April 2024 Devotional By Dr. Paul Enenche: Love Fuels Faith

TOPIC: Love Fuels Faith (Seeds Of Destiny 14 April 2024)

SCRIPTURE: There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love. – 1 John 4:18.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: Love fuels faith. To live in love is to live in faith.

MESSAGE:

The Scripture makes it clear that faith worketh by love (Galatians).
The walk of faith is enhanced by love. That is why a major consequence of lovelessness is impotent faith. The potency of one’s faith is guaranteed by love.

This means, love fuels faith. To live in love is to live in faith, and to be loveless is to be faithless and fearful.

1 John 4:8 says:
He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love.
Anywhere you can find love, you can find God.
The question is: Can God be plagued with fear? Is there anything that makes God afraid?
Nothing! Absolutely nothing!

This is the reason why whenever I stand and preach brutally against witches, wizards, occultic powers, oppressive people, negative situations, and atrocious personalities in our nation and in our world, I do them with zero fear.

I am not afraid because there is a passion, a fire and a compassion for the deliverance of people in me. God planted in me the passion to set people free. I have an undying passion for people for people to be saved and helped. This passion overwhelms every negative emotion of fear.

1 John 4:18 says:
There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love.

So, when you walk in love, that is, real love for God and mankind, you walk in a fearless realm. You walk in a realm that is free of fear, doubt and unbelief, and that is faith.
REMEMBER THIS: Love fuels faith. To live in love is to live in faith.

ASSIGNMENTS:

  1. Allow God to plant genuine love in you so you can live in the realm of faith.
  2. As you walk in love, refuse to fear; live in faith.

PRAYER: Lord, I receive the nature of love that casts out fear and establishes faith. Help me to live in genuine love and vibrant faith, Lord, in Jesus’ Name.

FOR FURTHER UNDERSTANDING, GET THIS MESSAGE: THE PLAGUE OF LOVELESSNESS (PART ONE).

QUOTE: If therefore, forgiveness, love, and compassion is such an important issue to God, it means that His very nature is the nature of forgiveness and the nature of satan, the devil, is opposite to the nature of God, which is the nature of unforgiveness and bitterness.
Culled from the book, “Am I Bitter?” by Dr Mrs Becky Paul-Enenche.

DAILY READING: Ezra 1-3.

AMAZING FACT: The largest animal ever to have lived is the blue whale.

PROPHETIC WORD (DECLARATION):

TREM Devotional – You Are Not Ordinary

Bishop Mike Okonkwo

Wisdom For The Day Devotional 14 April 2024 By Bishop Mike Okonkwo – You Are Not Ordinary

TOPIC: You Are Not Ordinary (TREM Devotional 14 April 2024)

“He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life.” 1 John 5:12 (KJV)

MESSAGE:

Beloved, as a child of God, you have eternal life. Eternal life is God’s class and quality of life. This life is in His Son. And now that you have received Christ, you are in His Son. He that hath the Son hath life, and he that hath not the Son of God, hath not life. So, anyone without Christ has no life. He is simply a moving dead waiting to collapse.

In verse 13 of the Book of 1 John Chapter 5, the scripture says, “These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.” (KJV).

Beloved, you ought to know and understand that you already have eternal life. The same type of life that God has is what you have. You are not ordinary. You are special! You are His son! That is why He is for you and can never be against you. You don’t have any reason to fear any longer.

David knew that God was for him. That’s why he went after Goliath without fear. You can take on any giant with knowledge. They asked David: What do you think you are doing? He responded that while caring for his father’s sheep, a lion came, and he tore it. A bear also came, and he tore it. This man will be like them. God is for me. And to prove he was not scared of Goliath, he ran towards him. Before Goliath could raise his head, he was down. So shall your enemy go down!

Go with this understanding! Square up your shoulders, knowing that your life in Christ is indestructible and unquenchable. The body can be destroyed, but its life cannot because it is eternal. Whatsoever is molesting and harassing, your life is terminated today in Jesus’ name.

DCLM Daily Manna – Love As A Proof

Pastor W. F. Kumuyi

DCLM Daily Manna 14 April 2024 Devotional By Pastor W. F. Kumuyi — Love As A Proof

TOPIC: Love As A Proof (DCLM Daily Manna 14 April 2024)

KEY VERSE: “By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another” (John 13:35).

TEXT: John 13:34-38 (KJV)

34 A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another.

35 By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another.

36 Simon Peter said unto him, Lord, whither goest thou? Jesus answered him, Whither I go, thou canst not follow me now; but thou shalt follow me afterwards.

37 Peter said unto him, Lord, why cannot I follow thee now? I will lay down my life for thy sake.

38 Jesus answered him, Wilt thou lay down thy life for my sake? Verily, verily, I say unto thee, The cock shall not crow, till thou hast denied me thrice.

MESSAGE:

By experience, wherever there are genuine products, there are bound to be counterfeits. These counterfeits tend to appear genuine to the eyes of the undiscerning. This is because they take so much resemblance to the original and genuine. The major difference, however, is that they are of low quality and standard and may not function effectively as the original. Counterfeit products cause a lot of damage. They cause heavy financial loss to manufacturers of original products and a lot of harm and loss to end-users.

As Jesus addressed His disciples in the Bible passage for today preparatory to His departure from them, He commands them to love one another genuinely. Love, according to Him is the proof that will identify them as His disciples and attract others to their fold. It is what will mark them out as being genuine and not fake.

It is becoming increasingly difficult to find true Christians whose lifestyles match their claims. Expectedly, the world is getting more confused about what Christianity is all about because of the apparent contradictions they observe in the lives of so many professing believers because the true proof of the Christian faith is absent.

This does not take away from the fact that there are so many genuine Christians around. One piece of evidence that marks them out that Christ spoke about in the text is pure, fervent, selfless and enduring love. Where this is operational, there will be an absence of envy, vainglory, slandering, backbiting, backstabbing, immorality, cheating, hatred, etc. This kind of love will authenticate the gospel and fuel the spread of God’s word.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY
Love is one Christian dialect that the world wants to understand.

TREM Devotional – God Will Never Be Against The Believer

Bishop Mike Okonkwo

Wisdom For The Day Devotional 13 April 2024 By Bishop Mike Okonkwo – God Will Never Be Against The Believer

TOPIC: God Will Never Be Against The Believer (TREM Devotional 13 April 2024)

“Let your conversation be without covetousness, and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.” Hebrews 13:5 (KJV)

MESSAGE:

Beloved, I want to remind you that, as a believer, God is always for you. He will never be against you. In the Book of Genesis Chapter 3, God did not abandon him even when Adam blew it. Rather, He killed an animal, spilt the blood, and covered him so that he would not be naked. God made every step and move to show man that He is for him.

There are revelations that when you receive them in your Spirit, the devil will certainly be far from you. The devil will only be active around you when you refuse to know what belongs to you. The Book of Daniel 11:32 tells us that: “… the people that do know their God shall be strong and do exploits.” (KJV). This is because knowing God is knowing yourself and what is available to you.

Religion has presented God as a God who is always looking for your next mistake, hunting for your failure, and watching at the corner to see when you will fail again. God has been presented as someone looking to judge you, throw a hammer on your head, and hurt you. The result is that so many people are afraid of God.

The good news is that God did not come to look for your mistake. He came to show you what is right with you. He came to show you that He has made you right so you can know it. Do you know that Jesus did not come for the Church, basically? He came for sinners. While we were yet sinners, He died for us. That is why any person who does not receive Jesus has himself to blame. Jesus came for you. He did not come to find out your sin. He came to die for you. So, He can never be against you. He is in you, and He is for you.

Seeds Of Destiny Devotional – Positive Lessons From The Life Of Joseph

Seeds Of Destiny Devotional

Dunamis Seeds Of Destiny 13 April 2024 Devotional By Dr. Paul Enenche: Positive Lessons From The Life Of Joseph

TOPIC: Positive Lessons From The Life Of Joseph (Seeds Of Destiny 13 April 2024)

SCRIPTURE: Then Pharaoh sent and called Joseph, and they brought him hastily out of the dungeon: and he shaved himself, and changed his raiment, and came in unto Pharaoh. Genesis 41:14.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: If you are not limited in your mind, you cannot be limited in life.

MESSAGE:

The Scripture is filled with examples of great people who succeeded in life through the positive engagement of their minds. They won and ruled their world beginning from their minds. Their positive mind-set affected their lifestyles. And it is very important to learn from them.

Joseph was a good example of such persons.
What can we learn from the life of Joseph?

Please take note of the following points about the positive mind-set of Joseph.

i. Joseph was in prison, but he kept on interpreting other peoples’ dreams because he believed in his own dreams and their interpretations.
If Joseph did not believe in his own dreams and their interpretations, he wouldn’t have interpreted other people’s dreams.

He seemed to have told himself, “Even though I am in prison now, the palace is my place. I believe that my dream will come to pass.”

You must believe in yourself and in your dreams before you can impact other people.

ii. Though in prison, Joseph did not only keep prison clothes, he also kept palace clothes. (Genesis 41:14).
When Pharaoh sent for him, he changed the prison clothes on him to the palace clothes he had kept by himself. He seemed to have said to the palace clothes, “This is the day I had been keeping you for. I knew I would leave this prison one day. I knew I would go to the palace, and I knew I would need you. This is why I have been keeping you”

And he wore the palace clothes. The prison did not limit his mind. He wore the palace clothes and stepped majestically into the palace and stood before Pharaoh.

You see, if you are not limited in your mind, you cannot be limited in life.

Though Joseph’s body was in a physical prison, his mind was not in prison. He did not wait for his future to happen to him; rather, he happened to his future.

This is the lesson to learn: prepare for your future before it arrives. It does not matter where you are now, you can prepare for the future before it arrives.

REMEMBER THIS: If you are not limited in your mind, you cannot be limited in life.

ASSIGNMENTS:

  1. Ask God for a fresh baptism of a positive mind-set like Joseph.
  2. Believe God’s Word about your life and live according to the Word, and not according to your present circumstances.

PRAYER: Lord, I receive a fresh baptism of positive mind-set. I break every negative and limiting mind-set Lord, in Jesus’ Name.

DCLM Daily Manna – Peace Be Still

Pastor W. F. Kumuyi

DCLM Daily Manna 13 April 2024 Devotional By Pastor W. F. Kumuyi — Peace Be Still

TOPIC: Peace Be Still (DCLM Daily Manna 13 April 2024)

KEY VERSE: “And he arose, and rebuked the wind, and said unto the sea, Peace, be still. And the wind ceased, and there was a great calm” (Mark 4:39).

TEXT: Mark 4:35-49 (KJV)

35 And the same day, when the even was come, he saith unto them, Let us pass over unto the other side.

36 And when they had sent away the multitude, they took him even as he was in the ship. And there were also with him other little ships.

37 And there arose a great storm of wind, and the waves beat into the ship, so that it was now full.

38 And he was in the hinder part of the ship, asleep on a pillow: and they awake him, and say unto him, Master, carest thou not that we perish?

39 And he arose, and rebuked the wind, and said unto the sea, Peace, be still. And the wind ceased, and there was a great calm.

40 And he said unto them, Why are ye so fearful? how is it that ye have no faith?

41 And they feared exceedingly, and said one to another, What manner of man is this, that even the wind and the sea obey him?

MESSAGE:

Charles Wesley penned the following profound words of confidence titled “Almighty Shade” that must remind the disciples of Christ about His superintending oversight on His own as they face the stormy sea: “I rest beneath the Almighty’s shade, My griefs expire, my troubles cease; Thou, Lord, on whom my soul is stayed, Wilt keep me still in perfect peace.” Wesley, himself, having faced different vicissitudes of life came to that realisation that it was only the assurance of God’s abiding presence that helped him sail through those stormy and windy days.

In today’s passage, the disciples faced a massive storm that shook the very foundation of their faith though they had been with their Master for some time and had witnessed several miracles performed by Him. It was a powerful, boisterous storm, so intense that they feared for their lives. While the Master lay asleep in the rear, the storm arose. The disciples had to call upon Him when the situation went out of their control. Jesus stood, rebuked the wind and there was a great calm.

Life on this side of eternity is fraught with life-threatening experiences. We often encounter storms in our life journeys from time to time. These storms could come in the form of unexpected turn of events, persistent unpleasant experiences, challenges with our children or partners and besetting sin, which may lead to devastating outcomes if not quickly brought under control.

Whatever is the nature of the storm you are facing now, the Master over the storms can bring calmness if, like the disciples, you call His attention. But you need to bring Him on board by accepting His love and surrendering your life to Him as your personal Lord and Saviour.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY
Jesus is the Master over every storm of life.

Tasted The Goodness Of God – Rose Oye

Tasted The Goodness Of God - Rose Oye

Nigerian-born UK-based gospel music minister and recording artiste, Rose Oye drops a brand new song titled “Tasted The Goodness Of God,” after a hiatus.

This is a song that talks about the goodness of God, and how dependable he is.

The singer who is set and determined to remain consistent in gospel space finally returns with a heartfelt song of worship, adoration, and thanksgiving unto God.

According to her, “Tasted the goodness of God is talking about the goodness of God, how He came through when I needed him, how He changed that ugly situation into laughter. Running to him and he helps”

Rose Oye’s conviction stems from her growing up in a Christian home with the understanding that love is the best gift one can receive and show to others. This ideology has inspired her to reach out with the message of salvation with love and the desire to seek souls that are lost back to Christ through her songs.

The song is captured to help everyone reflect on how good God has been.

TREM Devotional – God Is For You

Bishop Mike Okonkwo

Wisdom For The Day Devotional 12 April 2024 By Bishop Mike Okonkwo – God Is For You

TOPIC: God Is For You (TREM Devotional 12 April 2024)

“What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?” Romans 8:31 (KJV)

MESSAGE:

Beloved, if you can just have an understanding that God is for you, that in itself is loaded. To know that the Monarch of the universe, the Emperor of the whole creation; the Alpha and the Omega, the possessor of heaven and earth, the One who upholds all things by the Word of His power, and who spoke the universe into existence by the Word of mouth is for you and will never be against you.

When your body is filled with sickness and disease, and you are crying out in pain, think what it will do for you to know that He who holds the universe in His hands is for you.

God is for us! And right from creation, He demonstrated it. In the Book of Genesis, God proved that He is for us. Ever before Adam was created, everything necessary for godliness and enjoyment for Adam was already put in place for God to show Adam that He was for him.

The Book of Genesis 1:26 says; “…Let us make man in our own image…” In other words, let them be in our class. Beloved, we are on the same pedestal with God. You are in God’s own class. That is where we are. He didn’t make us ordinary. God did not just make us like Him but also to function like Him.

You have the dominion mandate over your life. That is why you should not tolerate anything that the enemy throws at you. It is an aberration and insult to redemption for you as a child of God to just tolerate whatever the devil throws at you.

Don’t allow your home to become a dumping ground for Satan’s garbage. Sicknesses and diseases are not permitted in your body. You are not allowed to tolerate anything contrary to what Jesus has paid for. He has paid for them. And you have the right to appropriate them in your life.
