About Leonel Orji

Leonel Chukwuemeka Orji also known as Leonel Orji is a young, highly gifted and talented songwriter, singer and music producer. Born on the 15th of August in Lagos, Nigeria, he hails from Enugu State, which is in the eastern part of Nigeria. He is also a graduate of media studies with television from the University of Bradford, United Kingdom.

Leonel Orji comes with this unique Gospel/RnB inspirational single which he titles ‘Closer’ which speaks about getting closer to God, into a deeper relationship with God.

Coming from an entertainment and  musical background with both parents in the movie industry and one also a talented singer and a gospel artist, his inspiration for music comes from different influences from personal experiences, observations, facts and truth for which he wishes to use to share truth, stories and also inspire change in this generation. Leonel Orji’s music is a mellow blend of RnB, Pop, Afroculture and more which he believes his music is a gift from God to share the gospel, to inspire and to also speak the truth.

Leonel Orji is currently working on more songs and possibly an EP/LP in the very near future.
