Dr. Mike Okonkwo – Now Is Your Time

Topic: Now Is Your Time [March 19, 2018]

“But Abishai, the son of Zeruiah succoured him, and smote the Philistine and killed him”. Then the men of David sware unto him, saying, Thou shall go no more out with us to battle, that thou quench not the light of Israel.” 2 Samuel 21:17”

When I travel around the world and see the multitudes of young people that my ministry has impacted, it gives me a sense of fulfilment. Indeed, there is hope for the Body of Christ and it gives me joy. Let me say this to you; particularly to the coming generation, my generation has done our part, but there is still so much to do. God is counting on you to take over the entertainment industry; the sports world and the agricultural sector. Why? Because you have been impacted and you are loaded. It is a failure for you to imagine that the older generation has done the best. No there is still so much to do!

Just like in the natural, the younger generations are the people to stand before the enemy at the gate. Abishai said to David, we don’t want you again in the front line, just stay at the back and put your hands on us. Just be praying for us, we don’t want to quench the light of Israel. In other words, the enemy today has come up with more sophisticated weapons that were not for your time, but you have impacted us. We know the type of weapon he is using. Therefore, leave him with us. We will handle him. Abishai killed the enemy and preserved David.

You are the one that has the weapon to deal with the enemy we are facing out there, that is opposing the advancement of God’s kingdom. That is why you were born at such a time as this. This is your time. Don’t let anyone tell you that the future is for young people. It is a lie! The now is for you. Don’t put your success in the future. Now is your time. I will hear your testimony.
