Rules That Govern God’s Altar (New Day, New Wood) ~ Pastor Ayo Oritsejafor

Topic: Rules That Govern God’s Altar (New Day, New Wood)  [Saturday 11, March 2017]

“Then the king commanded, and they brought Daniel, and cast him into the den of lions. Now the king spake and said unto Daniel, Thy God whom thouserves continually, he will deliver thee.” (Daniel 6:16)

If you are not a Christian, you don’t have fire on God’s altar at all. You will suffer in this world and the hereafter. Jesus died to forgive you your sins and to give you fulfillment in this life. He has said that if you would come to Him, He will give you rest. Receive Him now.

If you are not serving in God’s house as you should, it may be because you are thinking it will be too burdensome on you. Jesus never said serving Him would be burden-free, He said His burden is light. The world gave you the heavy load, which you strongly desire to cast off now. Why do you want to remain under the load? My dear, carry the church on your head. Don’t carry the world. The world is too heavy.

Your firewood of yesterday will not take you through today. When your firewood burns out, push aside the ashes and replace the wood. Your fire needs to burn continually on God’s altar before the altar can fight for you. The king said, “Thy God whom thou servest continually, He will deliver thee.” The king was saying because of Daniel’s continuous service to God, power would come forth from the fire Daniel had on God’s altar to deliver him (Daniel). The king knew that Daniel was always serving his God because Daniel would always be found close to God’s altar. Sure enough, God’s altar responded when Daniel needed it to do just that.

When you need God’s altar, it will not fail you. Today, God’s altar will stand strong for you.

WORD OF WISDOM: Jesus never said serving Him would be burden-free, He said His burden is light.

PRAYER/CONFESSION: Lord, remove the heavy burden of the world from me and give me Your own.
