The Impact Of Prophetic Impartation ~ Pastor Paul Enenche

Topic: The Impact Of Prophetic Impartation [Sunday January 15, 2017]

Scripture: And by a prophet the LORD brought Israel out of Egypt, and by a prophet was he preserved. – Hosea. 12:13.

Thought For The Day: A man without a pastor is a man without a pasture.

God places prophets and pastors over His people in order to bring them to the fulfilment of their purposes in life. It is also clear from our anchor scripture that God brought the children of Israel out of the land of Egypt by a prophet called Moses.

In Jeremiah 3:15, God promised to give His people a pastor who will feed them with knowledge. Therefore, a man without a pastor is a man without a pasture.

Now, we can learn from the life of Jesus Christ who submitted to the prophetic impact of John the Baptist why we need the prophetic covering. Prophetic impartation is for:
a) Supernatural advertisement: As Jesus submitted Himself to the ministry of John, Heaven joined forces with John the Baptist to advertise Him. When God advertises a man, no man can reject him.

b) Open Heavens: When you submit to the ministry of the shepherd, your own Heaven opens.

c) The release of potential: For 30 years, Jesus did not perform any miracle until He surrendered to the ministry of John the Baptist.

I prophesy the release of your potentials in Jesus’ Name.

Remember this: a man without a pastor is a man without a pasture.

Assignments:

1. Prayerfully identify the pastor that God has placed over your life and submit to his spiritual authority.

2. Make up your mind to follow him as Elisha followed Elijah.

Prayer: LORD, give me a pastor after Your Heart that will usher me into Your purpose for my life. Help me, LORD, to be submissive to the pastor that You have placed over my life, in Jesus’ Name.
