Wisdom For The Day Devotional 24 November 2023 By Bishop Mike Okonkwo – Your Redeemer Will Plead Your Cause

TOPIC: Your Redeemer Will Plead Your Cause (TREM Devotional 24 November 2023)

“Do not remove the ancient landmark, Nor enter the fields of the fatherless; For their Redeemer is mighty; He will plead their cause against you.” Proverbs 23:10-11 (NKJV)

MESSAGE:

Child of God, I want you to know that you are so important to God, that God is willing to stake his life on the line for you. The bible says in Psalms 19:14 “Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in thy sight O Lord, my strength, and my redeemer.” You may be weak; you may not have a helper but your adversary should be careful because you have a Redeemer and He will plead your cause. You can be sure that when your Redeemer pleads your case, you cannot lose because your Redeemer can never lose.

In the book of Isaiah 41:14, the bible says “Fear not, thou worm Jacob and ye men of Israel; I will help thee, saith the Lord, and thy Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel”. In other words, you may be small and powerless like a worm that can be trampled upon; but God says He will help you. Where you need help, God will intervene. The book of Isaiah 43:1 declares: “But now thus saith the Lord that created thee, O Jacob, and He that formed thee, O Israel, fear not for I have redeemed thee, I have called thee by thy name; thou art mine”.

No matter what the enemy is presenting before you, don’t fear. Don’t fear doctor’s report. Don’t fear those symptoms in your body. Don’t even wonder how you are going to survive? God said you belong to Him. When something is precious to you, you will do everything to protect it. God is strong enough to protect what belongs to Him. You will not starve to death because you belong to God. You will fulfill destiny. God’s mercy, God’s grace, God’s kindness, and God’s favor will abound towards you and your family. You and your family will experience abundance, increase, prosperity, peace, progress, provision, preservation, promotion, and good health. God has created all things for His glory. Your present challenge will glorify God.
