DCLM Daily Manna 8 April 2026 Devotional By Pastor W. F. Kumuyi — Salvation Is For All

TOPIC: Salvation Is For All (DCLM Daily Manna 8 April 2026)

KEY VERSE: For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him – Romans 10:12

TEXT: Romans 10:12-16 (KJV)

12 For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him.

13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.

14 How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher?

15 And how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things!

16 But they have not all obeyed the gospel. For Esaias saith, Lord, who hath believed our report?

MESSAGE:

It is believed that of the world’s population of about 8 billion, approximately 2.4 billion people profess Christianity, representing about 33.3 percent. That sounds exciting, but of the number, how many have essential Christian experiences? How many know as outlined in the American Holiness Journal that: “God is the originating cause of salvation. Jesus is the meritorious cause. Faith is the conditional cause. The Spirit is the efficient cause. In other words, God thought it. Jesus brought it. The Word taught it. The mind caught it. The soul sought it. Faith brought it. The Spirit wrought it. The devil fought it. But I’ve got it”?

Apostle Paul clearly states that everyone, irrespective of nationality or background, is welcome into God’s kingdom. The cocktail of preaching, hearing and believing, in the salvation process, is clearly stated. Salvation comes by grace, through faith. We do not work to earn it but receive it as a gift by faith in Christ, after genuinely turning from all sin.

It is appalling, however, that despite the gift of salvation, myriads wallow in ignorance of self-effort to obtain it. Though God’s grace is available for all, ignorantly, some people believe that, irrespective of a person’s choice, man is predestined for either heaven or hell. In other words, no matter what a person does or does not do, he cannot change his predestination or fate. But the uniform testimony of the Scriptures is that God is love and has no pleasure in the death of the wicked. Christ’s substitutionary sacrifice is meant to redeem all who willingly turn away from sin and embrace His provision for their pardon. “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life” (John 3:16). Some other errors associated with the issue of salvation are: Once saved, a person remains saved, his ways and life of compromise notwithstanding.

Not considering colour, creed, or nationality, the arms of the Lord are open to all who come to Him. His grace is sufficient to keep all who have embraced Christ as Saviour and Lord. Beyond knowing Christ as Saviour, believers must continue in the faith by holy living, and seeking to win others to the Lord while awaiting the return of the King of glory.
