Dr Deola releases ‘The Priceless Gift’!
Jolade Adeola Odedoyin, also known as Dr Deola is majorly a song writer and currently a zonal choir coordinator in Province 7 Abule-Odu of RCCG where her husband who is also a civil engineer, Gbenga Odedoyin is a Parish pastor.
Dr Deola releases a new single titled ‘The Priceless Gift’, a contemporary highlife song that shows express gratitude on the birth of our Lord Jesus Christ as a ‘Priceless Gift’ from God to us.
Being a vibrant Gospel minister, she started singing in the choir of Celestial Church of Christ Akoka Parish and gave her life to Christ at the age 12 and began leading the choir at age 17. Her first song, ‘Jesu Christi Jinde’ was written while she was 17. Dr Deola became a music director for NYSC Corpers Fellowship in 1997. She was an active member and praise worship leader in RCCG Glory worship center, Yaba.
Currently, she is a zonal choir coordinator in one of RCCG’s provinces. Her inspiration during her early life as a toddler in the UK came from legendary musical acts, Loulou and Shirley Black, later Diana Ross and Cece winans but the Lord Jesus Christ has been the ultimate inspiration.
