Topic: You Are Blessed [Wednesday June 6, 2018]
“And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.” Genesis 1:28
Child of God, you are blessed and not cursed. You have heaven’s mandate upon your life therefore, you must be fruitful. Stop accepting the lies of the enemy, stop allowing situations put you under, no; the Bible declares that you are the head and not the tail, above only and not beneath. You must walk about with this understanding. Yes, I know that situation might be difficult, I understand there are challenges, but that does not change the truth of God’s Word.
Ephesians 1:3 says “Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ:” Beloved, you are already blessed. Usually, when we refer to the blessing, we talk about it in future terms and we say things like ‘God will bless you’, but the Bible says you are already blessed. Stop letting your bank account determine whether you are blessed or not; if God has said it, then that settles you, and you better believe it.
You must understand that the blessing of God is not a thing; it’s the favour of God spoken over your life. Our text tells us that the first thing God did was to bless man, and then He said be fruitful, multiply and replenish the earth, subdue and have dominion; therefore whatever situation or circumstance there is that is challenging the fulfillment of God’s Word in your life, I command it to give way in Jesus’ name. I declare to you that you are blessed going out, you are blessed coming in, blessed in your baskets, and in your storehouse, you are blessed in all areas of your life.
