Gospel music history has been rewritten as Somtochukwu Nsofor, popularly known as Essemm, set a new world record for marathon singing.
Originally aiming for 128 hours, Essemm pushed his limits to complete an awe-inspiring 135 hours of continuous Gospel worship, creating an experience he calls the “Secret Place Experience.”
According to him, the 5-Day event was not just about breaking records; it was a journey of surrender, connection, and divine encounter.
Held at HisDulce, Victoria Island, Lagos, from October 20th to 25th, Essemm’s marathon session resonated with deep faith and devotion.
