Legendary Indigenous Gospel singer, Evangelist Bola Are has released her 100th studio album titled, “Eyin Ayanfe, Eku Irin Ajo”.
From the stable of Bola Are and Her Spiritual Covenant Gospel Singer International, her latest album embraces 6tracks, all of which were produced mixed, mastered by Lekan Olalusi, and recorded at Weihls Studios.
According to the one-time President of Gospel Musicians, and also one of the pioneers of Gospel music in Nigeria, she assured that her new album, “Eyin Ayanfe, Eku Irin Ajo” will be a blessing.
“I pray that this album blesses you as much as it has blessed me”.
Popular referred to as the ‘Grandmother’ of Gospel music, Evangelist Bola Are started a music band called Bola and Her Spiritual Singers 26th of June 1973. In August 1977, she debuted her first musical album, Baba Ku Ise., and as of 2014, she has released over seventy albums.
The Gospel minister having deferred her admission at Ibadan Polytechnic to focus on her singing ministry was later awarded a doctorate in music by St. John’s University, Missouri U.S.A in July 1985.
