Through a thousand generations
You are true to Your Word
Through seasons and ages
You are faithful indeed
Through a thousand generations
You are true to Your Word
Through seasons and ages
You are faithful indeed

You are bigger than I could ever imagine
You are better than I could ever
dream of
You are bigger than I could ever imagine
You are better than I could ever
dream of

Jesus You are
Jesus You are
Jesus You are
Jesus You are

Breathtaking wonders
that’s what what You do
Miracles and blessings
You’re pouring on us
God of wonders
that’s that’s who You are
You keep You promises
Great is Your name

You are bigger than I could ever imagine
You are better than I could ever
dream of
You are bigger than I could ever imagine
You are better than I could ever
dream of

Bigger than the biggest
Better than the best
You are undefeated
You are Jesus

You are bigger than I could ever imagine
You are better than I could ever

You are bigger than I could ever imagine
You are better than I could ever

Lyrics: Sing Over Me By Dunsin Oyekan

Intro
Lift your hands like a funnel and just bless Him
When we lift our hands, to me it looks like
We are creating a funnel for Him to fill us up
Yeah
To me, it looks like a connection between heaven and heart
Just bless Him in tongues, sing in the Spirit
Speaks in tongues
Lift your hands and sing to Him

Verse
I know
That worship is about the song You want to hear
Not the one I want to sing
I’m here so You can sing over me
And I’ll sing it back to You
I know
That worship is about the song You want to hear
Not the one I want to sing
Jesus, I’m here so You can sing over me
And I’ll sing it back to You

Chorus
Oh oh oh oh
Oh oh oh oh
I worship in spirit and truth (Shaba)
Oh oh oh oh
Oh oh oh oh (Oh oh oh)
I worship in spirit and truth

Seeds Of Destiny Devotional – Godlessness, The Reason For Lovelessness

Pastor Paul Enenche

Dunamis Seeds Of Destiny 28 April 2024 Devotional By Dr. Paul Enenche: Godlessness, The Reason For Lovelessness

TOPIC: Godlessness, The Reason For Lovelessness (Seeds Of Destiny 28 April 2024)

SCRIPTURE: He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love. – 1 John 4:8.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: Where love ends, there hate starts; where love ends, there wickedness begins.

MESSAGE:

It has been established that one of the causes of lovelessness is godlessness. Godlessness is the origin of lovelessness. When people are godless, they are loveless.

1 John 4:8 says:
He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love.

You cannot truly possess God and not possess love.
You know, as long as Adam and Eve were in the Presence of God in the garden, there was no calamity. The first calamity that happened at creation was after God drove man from His Presence in the garden.

Genesis 3:23-24 says:
Therefore the LORD God sent him forth from the garden of Eden, to till the ground from whence he was taken. So he drove out the man; and he placed at the east of the garden of Eden Cherubims, and a flaming sword which turned every way, to keep the way of the tree of life.

Man left the Presence of God. Man left the Presence of Love. Man was pushed out from the presence of love.
Consequently, Adam gave birth to children outside the Presence of Love. No wonder his first born, Cain, became a killer; he killed his brother, Abel.

Genesis 4:8 says:
And Cain talked with Abel his brother: and it came to pass, when they were in the field, that Cain rose up against Abel his brother, and slew him.

This was the first case of murder in the Bible. It happened in Genesis after man was driven out of the Presence of Love.

The lesson here is, where love ends, there hate starts. Where love ends, there wickedness begins. Do not let anyone deceive you; you measure your godliness by your lovingness. To be godly is to be loving. Nothing can convince God or the devil that you are godly except that you are loving.

REMEMBER THIS: Where love ends, there hate starts; where love ends, there wickedness begins.

ASSIGNMENTS:

  1. Make up your mind never to be godless or wicked.
  2. Embrace the virtue of godliness so you can release love and kindness.

PRAYER: Lord, I ask that You deliver me from the spirit of godlessness and wickedness. Fill my heart, Lord, with the love of Christ by the agency of Your Spirit, the Spirit of love, in Jesus’ Name.

FOR FURTHER UNDERSTANDING, GET THIS MESSAGE: THE PLAGUE OF LOVELESSNESS (PART ONE).

QUOTE: You begin to absorb the character of anyone you hang around. You begin to talk, act, behave or dress like that person. Culled from the book, “30 Secrets to the Top” by Dr Paul Enenche.

DAILY READING: Job 10-12.

AMAZING FACT: Identical twins don’t have the same fingerprints.

PROPHETIC WORD AND DECLARATION

DCLM Daily Manna – At Peace With God

Pastor W. F. Kumuyi

DCLM Daily Manna 28 April 2024 Devotional By Pastor W. F. Kumuyi — At Peace With God

TOPIC: At Peace With God (DCLM Daily Manna 28 April 2024)

KEY VERSE: “I will both lay me down in peace, and sleep: for thou, LORD, only makest me dwell in safety” (Psalm 4:8).

TEXT: Psalm 4:1-8 (KJV)

1 Hear me when I call, O God of my righteousness: thou hast enlarged me when I was in distress; have mercy upon me, and hear my prayer.

2 O ye sons of men, how long will ye turn my glory into shame? how long will ye love vanity, and seek after leasing? Selah.

3 But know that the Lord hath set apart him that is godly for himself: the Lord will hear when I call unto him.

4 Stand in awe, and sin not: commune with your own heart upon your bed, and be still. Selah.

5 Offer the sacrifices of righteousness, and put your trust in the Lord.

6 There be many that say, Who will shew us any good? Lord, lift thou up the light of thy countenance upon us.

7 Thou hast put gladness in my heart, more than in the time that their corn and their wine increased.

8 I will both lay me down in peace, and sleep: for thou, Lord, only makest me dwell in safety.

MESSAGE:

In a sermon, Mark Roper’s story of Submarine-Style Peace illustrates the psalmist’s central message in this passage. “Several years ago, a submarine was being tested and had to remain submerged for many hours. When it returned to the harbor, the captain was asked, “How did the terrible storm last night affect you?” The officer looked at him in surprise and exclaimed, “Storm? We didn’t even know there was one!” The sub had been so far beneath the surface that it had reached the area known to sailors as “the cushion of the sea.” Although the ocean may be whipped into huge waves by high winds, the waters below are never stirred.”

In our text, David had many concerns. He was bothered by the naysayers’ conclusion that God had abandoned him. More distressing to him was that people were turning God’s glory into shame, loving vanity, and seeking after leasing (lies, falsehood and deceptive things). While the absolute truth of God’s will, way, and word were rejected, men were celebrating life’s vanities. These and many more unsettling issues of life flooded David’s heart.

However, this anointed king of Israel encouraged himself in the Lord rather than allow these human follies to unsettle him. Instead of meditating on problems, he was determined to praise God for His goodness towards him as an individual, rejoicing that God would hear him whenever he called. This is how to have peace in this distressing world.

Life’s troubles are weights God does not expect us to carry on our shoulders. To wade through the flood of life troubles, we must look away from the world and its troubles, pray to God and trust Him implicitly.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY
Look unto Jesus, the Spring of man’s joy, and be at peace with God.

Prophet Isaiah Macwealth Set To Storm UK For Revival Conference

Prophet Isaiah Macwealth

The current state of the church in the UK paints a sobering picture. Once vibrant congregations now echo with dwindling numbers, and the devoutness that once characterized spiritual gatherings has faded away. Many sacred spaces have been repurposed, and transformed into mosques or secular buildings, serving as worrisome reminders of the spiritual coldness that has gripped the nation.

Yet, amidst the shadows of doubt and despair, there arises a man with a divine mission, Prophet Isaiah Macwealth, the Prophet of God with unwavering faith and passion.

He stands at the forefront of a movement poised to usher in a new era of spiritual awakening as He comes to the United Kingdom for the Miracle Jesus Conference on the 24th and 25th of May at The Lighthouse Theatre 262-274 Camberwell Rd, London
With a distinguished background in theology and a heart ablaze with passion for the Gospel, Prophet Isaiah Macwealth embodies the essence of a modern-day revivalist.

He is the founder and Presiding Pastor of the Ark of Light for All Nations, a Church located in Lagos, with 10,000 seat capacity. Driven by passion and determination to liberate men from the lies, deceit and chains of the enemy, Prophet Isaiah Macwealth holds a strong belief that he has been mandated by the Lord Jesus Christ to prepare the Church for His second coming.

He is also a philanthropist and founder of The Isaiah Wealth Initiative, an NGO with 15 different arms, focused on the Alleviation of the sufferings of the poor and the needy all across the globe, and the recently inaugurated Ark of Light Food and Emergency Bank, a sanctuary of refuge and emergency response center set to cater for 20,000 families yearly.

Prophet Macwealth, known for his powerful prophetic ministry and miraculous healing services, has gained a reputation for his dynamic depth in the word. Born and raised in Nigeria, Western Africa, Prophet Macwealth’s journey to the UK is guided by a divine calling to spread the message of hope and redemption. Armed with a potent combination of intellect, spiritual insight, and boundless compassion, he has dedicated his life to serving as a catalyst for transformation in the lives of individuals and communities alike.

The Man of God, Prophet Isaiah Macwealth, is set to usher in the divine power of God to the United Kingdom with the upcoming Miracle Jesus Conference. The event, scheduled to take place in London, on the 24th and 25th of May at The Lighthouse Theatre 262-274 Camberwell Rd, promises to be a life-changing experience for those seeking a touch from God.

The Miracle Jesus Conference, under Prophet Isaiah Macwealth’s leadership, represents more than just a gathering of believers; it signifies a divine appointment with divinity. Through fervent prayer, dynamic worship, and powerful preaching, attendees will be immersed in an atmosphere charged with the palpable presence of God.

This is not merely an event; it is a divine intervention, an opportunity for the UK to experience a shift in the spiritual realm. It is a clarion call for believers to rise up from the ashes of complacency and embrace the fullness of God’s power and presence. As news of his imminent arrival spreads, anticipation reaches a fever pitch. Communities across the UK are abuzz with excitement, eagerly anticipating the transformative impact that his ministry and his team will undoubtedly bring. With hearts expectant and spirits hungry for revival, believers from all walks of life are preparing to receive him with open arms, ready to embrace the outpouring of divine grace and revelation that accompanies his presence.

The spiritual impact of Prophet Macwealth’s meeting is poised to be nothing short of extraordinary. As believers gather in unity, bound by a common longing for revival and renewal, the atmosphere will be charged with the tangible presence of God. Chains will be broken, hearts will be healed, and lives will be forever transformed as the power of the Holy Spirit moves in unprecedented ways. But the impact will extend far beyond the confines of the church walls, reaching even those who may not yet know the saving grace of Jesus Christ. Prophet Isaiah Macwealth will serve as a reminder that God is still moving in these days.

TREM Devotional – Turn Away From Evil Men

Bishop Mike Okonkwo

Wisdom For The Day Devotional 26 April 2024 By Bishop Mike Okonkwo – Turn Away From Evil Men

TOPIC: Turn Away From Evil Men (TREM Devotional 26 April 2024)

“Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.” 2 Timothy 3:5 (KJV)

MESSAGE:

One of the signs of the end time is that people will act religiously but reject the power that could make them godly. Apostle Paul says we should stay away from people like that. Presently, our society is filled with deceivers. But I am glad that the Bible already says that there is a limit to which they can continue with their mess. They will not get away with this for long. Someday, everyone will recognize the deceivers that they are.

Like it or not, in the name of Jesus, every knee will bow. One way or the other! It is either you bow your knee now and acknowledge Jesus as Lord, or I can assure you that someday you will have to bow that knee because He alone has a name that is above every name.

These are dangerous days. So it is important that as children of God, we deploy the full armour and arsenals God gave us. We must deploy everything. We must be brutal in the deployment of what God has given us so that we can navigate our ways. I am trying to get you to see that this world is filled with wickedness.

1 John 5:19 says that “…the whole world lieth in wickedness.” (KJV). So, what are we to do in the midst of this hopelessness? To put the devil where he belongs, you must accept who you have been made in Christ Jesus.

Continue your journey of faith by appropriating all He has done for you. That is what it means to walk in Christ. “As ye have therefore received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk ye in him: Rooted and built up in him, and establish in the faith as ye have been taught, abounding therein, with thanksgiving. Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ.” Colossians 2:6-8 (KJV). So, guard your heart. Stay filled with the Word, and do not company with evil men.

Seeds Of Destiny Devotional – Positioning The Mind For Triumphs

Pastor Paul Enenche

Dunamis Seeds Of Destiny 26 April 2024 Devotional By Dr. Paul Enenche: Positioning The Mind For Triumphs

TOPIC: Positioning The Mind For Triumphs (Seeds Of Destiny 26 April 2024)

SCRIPTURE: I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God. – Romans 12:1-2.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: Renew your mind continually with the Word of God because it is what you hear that feeds your faith.

MESSAGE:

We have seen the power of the mind and how it affects life and destiny.
Now, what do you do to maximize the full potentials of your mind? What do you do with your mind to triumph in hard times?

  1. Avoid sin.
Iniquity corrupts mentality. Iniquity destroys destiny. We are called to glory and virtue. Sin makes us fall short of glory.
    Romans 6:23 says:
For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
    So, avoid sin.
  2. Avoid both wrong associations and wrong communications.
    Proverbs 13:20 says:
He that walketh with wise men shall be wise: but a companion of fools shall be destroyed.
Both the wrong association and the wrong communication affect the mind and consequently, they affect life. For example, ten spies destroyed the destiny of millions of Israelites on their way to the Promised Land, by what they said (Numbers 13:31-33).
If anyone is not talking your talk, give them space. If anyone is not talking revelation, give them space. If anyone around you is not talking faith, give them space.
    Are they your friends? No!
    Are they your enemies? No!
Who are they? You know them.
  3. Renew your mind continually with the Word.
    Romans 12:1-2 says:
I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

Renew your mind continually with the Word of God because it is what you hear that feeds your faith. Remember, faith cometh by hearing and hearing by the Word of God (Romans 10:17).

Beloved, what you hear also affects what you fear (Deuteronomy 13:11). So, instead of hearing things that make you afraid, hear the Word of God that makes you have faith.

REMEMBER THIS: Renew your mind continually with the Word of God because it is what you hear that feeds your faith.

ASSIGNMENTS:

  1. Avoid sin and the wrong association and communication.
  2. Maintain a daily, consistent and unbroken schedule with the Word of God.

PRAYER: Lord, I receive the grace to live above sin. Help me to avoid every wrong association and communication. I receive divine empowerment to maintain a positive mind-set for a successful and triumphant life, Lord, in Jesus’ Name.

FOR FURTHER UNDERSTANDING, GET THIS MESSAGE: THE MIND-THE BATTLE FIELD OF THE REDEEMED.

QUOTE: Do not live with a mentality beclouded by where you are now. Live, rather, with a perspective of where you want to be. Culled from the book, “30 Secrets To the Top” by Dr Paul Enenche.

DAILY READING: Job 4-6.

AMAZING FACT: The Antonov AN-225 cargo jet is the largest plane in the world. It is nearly as big as a football field from nose to tail and wingtip to wingtip. It was originally built to transport a space plane.

PROPHETIC WORD (DECLARATION):
Grace and discipline for the continual renewal of the mind be your portion in Jesus’ Name.

Today’s devotional was written by Pastor Paul Enenche of the Dunamis International Gospel Centre (DIGC), headquartered at Abuja, Nigeria, with Pastor Paul and Becky Enenche, as the Senior Pastors. DCLM Daily Manna – No Dinner With The Devils!

Pastor W. F. Kumuyi

DCLM Daily Manna 26 April 2024 Devotional By Pastor W. F. Kumuyi — No Dinner With The Devils!

TOPIC: No Dinner With The Devils! (DCLM Daily Manna 26 April 2024)

KEY VERSE: “But I say, that the things which the Gentiles sacrifice, they sacrifice to devils, and not to God: and I would not that ye should have fellowship with devils” (1 Corinthians 10:20).

TEXT: 1 Corinthians 10:18-33 (KJV)

18 Behold Israel after the flesh: are not they which eat of the sacrifices partakers of the altar?

19 What say I then? that the idol is any thing, or that which is offered in sacrifice to idols is any thing?

20 But I say, that the things which the Gentiles sacrifice, they sacrifice to devils, and not to God: and I would not that ye should have fellowship with devils.

21 Ye cannot drink the cup of the Lord, and the cup of devils: ye cannot be partakers of the Lord’s table, and of the table of devils.

22 Do we provoke the Lord to jealousy? are we stronger than he?

23 All things are lawful for me, but all things are not expedient: all things are lawful for me, but all things edify not.

24 Let no man seek his own, but every man another’s wealth.

25 Whatsoever is sold in the shambles, that eat, asking no question for conscience sake:

26 For the earth is the Lord’s, and the fulness thereof.

27 If any of them that believe not bid you to a feast, and ye be disposed to go; whatsoever is set before you, eat, asking no question for conscience sake.

28 But if any man say unto you, this is offered in sacrifice unto idols, eat not for his sake that shewed it, and for conscience sake: for the earth is the Lord’s, and the fulness thereof:

29 Conscience, I say, not thine own, but of the other: for why is my liberty judged of another man’s conscience?

30 For if I by grace be a partaker, why am I evil spoken of for that for which I give thanks?

31 Whether therefore ye eat, or drink, or whatsoever ye do, do all to the glory of God.

32 Give none offence, neither to the Jews, nor to the Gentiles, nor to the church of God:

33 Even as I please all men in all things, not seeking mine own profit, but the profit of many, that they may be saved.

MESSAGE:

The attempt to create an alternative object of worship drives human beings into idol worship. Most people, even so- called Christians, do not know when and where to draw the line in their relationship with friends and relatives who have signed up to this repugnant way of life. Because they seek to be nice and remain in the good books of everyone, they allow their friends and neighbours to draw them into idol worship. They lack the knowledge and courage to avoid relationships and friendships that will lead them to dine with devils.

While Christians are not expected to be detached completely from the communities where they live and are to freely interact and associate with others, Apostle Paul by the inspiration of the Holy Spirit here sets a limit to the extent of such relationships. In this passage, Christians are thus admonished to apply wisdom in order to avoid cultural influences and traditional practices that have the undertone of idol worship. They should be knowledgeable enough and courageous to shun idolatrous festivities and sacrifices. Taking part in these feasts amount to having fellowship with devils.

Although we must support religious tolerance for peaceful co-existence, that does not warrant the believer to support idolatrous and satanic worship. We are not to sanction and approve their practices nor give any form of support, whether monetary or technical to them.

When we refuse to participate in their worship, it also helps the light of Christ in us to shine more brightly and lead them to find the true path to the worship of the living God mediated through Jesus Christ, the Way, the Truth and the Life!

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY
Getting involved with idolatrous practices contaminates our fellowship with God.

TREM Devotional – You Are A World Overcomer

Bishop Mike Okonkwo

Wisdom For The Day Devotional 25 April 2024 By Bishop Mike Okonkwo – You Are A World Overcomer

TOPIC: You Are A World Overcomer (TREM Devotional 25 April 2024)

“For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith.” 1 John 5:4 (KJV)

MESSAGE:

Our faith as believers is predicated on the fact that Christ has given us victory. The scripture says in the Book of 1 John 4:4: “…Greater is He that is in you, than he that is in the world.” (KJV), 2 Corinthians 2:14 says: “Now thanks be unto God, which always causeth us to triumph in Christ,…” (KJV). In Christ, we always win. We never lose. Nothing works against the believer. You are a winner in Christ.

One of the greatest victories you have as a believer is the victory over sin. Sin has no power over you anymore. Christ has destroyed the power of sin on the cross. Once you are in Christ, you have forgiveness of sin according to the riches of His grace. The Book of Colossians 1:14 says: “In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins:” (KJV).

Beloved, stop thinking sin! Sin is no longer an issue with the believer. You have been delivered from the power of sin. Sin is broken over your life. The scripture is very clear. Sin shall not have dominion over you because you are not under the law but under grace. Don’t think sin; think righteousness. Awake to righteousness and sin not. Have the mentality that you are always righteous. Wake up every morning and thank God for your righteousness.

The beauty of the gospel is that God is no longer judging the believer because He has become the propitiation for our sins. Don’t let your sin drive you away from God. In fact, it should drive you to God. That is why He said to come boldly to obtain mercy. Mercy is God not giving you the judgment you deserve. And grace is God giving you the good you don’t deserve. He is a merciful God. He has judged your sin already on the cross. Jesus has paid for it. All you need to do is believe what has been done for you, and you will see powerful changes in your life.

Seeds Of Destiny Devotional – Your Mind And Your Access To The Voice Of God

Paul Enenche

Dunamis Seeds Of Destiny 25 April 2024 Devotional By Dr. Paul Enenche: Your Mind And Your Access To The Voice Of God

TOPIC: Your Mind And Your Access To The Voice Of God (Seeds Of Destiny 25 April 2024)

SCRIPTURE: While Peter thought on the vision, the Spirit said unto him, Behold, three men seek thee. – Acts 10:19.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: Your mind affects your access to the Voice of God.

MESSAGE:

The Scripture reveals that out of your mind are the issues of life (Prov. 4:23)
This means, the state of your mind affects the issues of your life. Hence, there is a need to guard your mind with all diligence.
Now, what is the power of the mind?

  1. The mind affects access to God’s voice.
    Acts 10:19 says:
While Peter thought on the vision, the Spirit said unto him, Behold, three men seek thee.
While Peter thought on the vision, God spoke to him. Your mind affects your access to the Voice of God.

Matthew 1:20 says:
But while he thought on these things, behold, the angel of the Lord appeared unto him in a dream, saying, Joseph, thou son of David, fear not to take unto thee Mary thy wife: for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Ghost.

As Joseph thought, God visited him. God visits you based on what is going on in your mind. God speaks to you based on what your mind is thinking of per time.

  1. The mind determines the Acts and Possibilities of God.

Ephesians 3:20 says:
Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us,
God is able to do exceedingly abundantly, above all that we can ask or imagine.

Philemon 1:14 says:
But without thy mind would I do nothing; that thy benefit should not be as it were of necessity, but willingly.
So, God needs the cooperation of your mind to do mega things in your life.

  1. The mind determines the stability of life.
A stable mind is a stable life. It does not matter the storms of life or what is going on around the world, if your mind is stable, your life will be stable.

Job 23:13 says:
But he is in one mind, and who can turn him? and what his soul desireth, even that he doeth.

If your mind is stable, there is no holocaust or pestilence on earth that can shake it. When men say they are cast down, you shall be saying there is a lifting up.

REMEMBER THIS: Your mind affects your access to the Voice of God.

ASSIGNMENTS:

  1. Make up your mind not to limit the Acts and Possibilities of God in your life by a negative mind-set.
  2. Believe God totally to do His Work in your life.

PRAYER: Lord, I ask that You purify my heart from the pollutions and distractions of the world. I receive access to Your Voice and possibilities through a positive mind-set Lord, in Jesus’ Name.

QUOTE: The moment you have this mentality and you know that the Bible was given to you by God as a gift, the more impact it has on your life and destiny. The Scripture is a gift.

DCLM Daily Manna – How Not To Use His Name

Pastor W. F. Kumuyi

DCLM Daily Manna 25 April 2024 Devotional By Pastor W. F. Kumuyi — How Not To Use His Name

TOPIC: How Not To Use His Name (DCLM Daily Manna 25 April 2024)

KEY VERSE: “Then said David to the Philistine, Thou comest to me with a sword, and with a spear, and with a shield: but I come to thee in the name of the LORD of hosts, the God of the armies of Israel, whom thou hast defied” (1 Samuel 17:45).

TEXT: 1 Samuel 17:41-54 (KJV)

41 And the Philistine came on and drew near unto David; and the man that bare the shield went before him.

42 And when the Philistine looked about, and saw David, he disdained him: for he was but a youth, and ruddy, and of a fair countenance.

43 And the Philistine said unto David, Am I a dog, that thou comest to me with staves? And the Philistine cursed David by his gods.

44 And the Philistine said to David, Come to me, and I will give thy flesh unto the fowls of the air, and to the beasts of the field.

45 Then said David to the Philistine, Thou comest to me with a sword, and with a spear, and with a shield: but I come to thee in the name of the Lord of hosts, the God of the armies of Israel, whom thou hast defied.

46 This day will the Lord deliver thee into mine hand; and I will smite thee, and take thine head from thee; and I will give the carcases of the host of the Philistines this day unto the fowls of the air, and to the wild beasts of the earth; that all the earth may know that there is a God in Israel.

47 And all this assembly shall know that the Lord saveth not with sword and spear: for the battle is the Lord’s, and he will give you into our hands.

48 And it came to pass, when the Philistine arose, and came, and drew nigh to meet David, that David hastened, and ran toward the army to meet the Philistine.

49 And David put his hand in his bag, and took thence a stone, and slang it, and smote the Philistine in his forehead, that the stone sunk into his forehead; and he fell upon his face to the earth.

50 So David prevailed over the Philistine with a sling and with a stone, and smote the Philistine, and slew him; but there was no sword in the hand of David.

51 Therefore David ran, and stood upon the Philistine, and took his sword, and drew it out of the sheath thereof, and slew him, and cut off his head therewith. And when the Philistines saw their champion was dead, they fled.

52 And the men of Israel and of Judah arose, and shouted, and pursued the Philistines, until thou come to the valley, and to the gates of Ekron. And the wounded of the Philistines fell down by the way to Shaaraim, even unto Gath, and unto Ekron.

53 And the children of Israel returned from chasing after the Philistines, and they spoiled their tents.

54 And David took the head of the Philistine, and brought it to Jerusalem; but he put his armour in his tent.

MESSAGE:

Having the right kind of weapons in warfare and being able to use them effectively produces confidence in the soldiers, making them to dare any foe. The Tsar Bomba is said to be the world’s most powerful and deadliest weapon of mass destruction. It was created by the then Soviet Union as a response to the United States’ nuclear programme. The very massive bomb was intended to destroy everything. Russia’s possession of deadly weapons like this makes her to dare powerful nations.

Goliath also considered himself unconquerable owing to his intimidating stature and years of experience at war. However, David had a far more potent weapon: his confidence and faith in the name of the Lord. He was sure that no one could stand against God in battle. So, when Goliath charged towards him, instead of shrinking and retreating in fear, David ran towards him with unshaken confidence and the giant was brought down with a single sling of his stone.

When we truly understand the power that is in the Lord, we will not be afraid of any enemy or battle. The name of Jesus prevails over every situation and all circumstances; be they physical or spiritual. The Name of Jesus gives victory and triumph over temptations and causes satanic and demonic powers to bow and flee. The name heals all forms of diseases and sicknesses and provides abundantly in times of need.

If we will prevail with the name of the Lord like David, we must learn how to use it effectively. God’s name is only potent on the lips of a righteous believer. You must be a child of God before you can use His name effectively. You must also have unwavering faith and confidence in Him.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY
The name of Jesus can never lose its potency

Seeds Of Destiny Devotional – Lovelessness Limits Potentials

Pastor Paul Enenche

Dunamis Seeds Of Destiny 24 April 2024 Devotional By Dr. Paul Enenche: Lovelessness Limits Potentials

TOPIC: Lovelessness Limits Potentials (Seeds Of Destiny 24 April 2024)

SCRIPTURE: And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries, and all knowledge; and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, and have not charity, I am nothing. 1 Corinthians 13:2.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: Lovelessness limits a person’s potentials, abilities and giftings.

MESSAGE:

It has been established that a major consequence of lovelessness is the limitation of life’s potentials. Lovelessness limits a person’s potentials, abilities and giftings. Hatred, anger or resentment cages a person’s abilities and capabilities.

When you fail to walk in love, your potentials become limited. When you fail to walk in love, what you can become in life becomes limited.

But why is this so? It is because God made man in His image.

Genesis 1:27 says:
So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.

God made man in His own image, and the image of God is love. This means, God made man in love. And the implication of this is that to realize your potentials, you must walk in love. To become who God made you to be, you must walk and live according to the nature of your creation which is the nature of love. To become who God wants you to be in life, you must work according to the nature of your creation which is love.

We were created with a love mold, and not with a hate mold.

Existence in lovelessness then equals existence in limitation. When you see a person of love, his life is full of possibilities. There are possibilities in his life that eyes cannot see.
But when you see a hateful or a malicious person, his life and potentials are caged.
Beloved, don’t be a hateful and malicious person; live in love.

REMEMBER THIS: Lovelessness limits a person’s potentials, abilities and giftings.

ASSIGNMENT FOR THE DAY:

  1. Ask God for the grace to overcome hatred, resentment and unforgiveness.
  2. Do not allow your potentials and possibilities to be limited by lovelessness.

PRAYER: Lord, I ask that You deliver me from anger and hatred that limits my potentials. I receive victory over the spell of lovelessness, Lord, in Jesus’ Name.
