Lyrics: Thank You Lord By Simpli Michael Ft. Tosin Bee

For your goodness towards me
Your loving kindness that I see
And your faithfulness each day
Is why I’m standing here to say
For your grace that carried me
How your mercy speaks for me
Your favour covers me
Supplies my every need

For holding me so strong
Keeping me safe all year long
My going out and coming in
Ensuring that I win
Through every high and every lows
You’re always in control
You turned my life around
Oh what a joy that I have found

If I have ten thousand tongues
It will never be enough
For everything that you have done
Your favour and your love
Glory belongs to you
That is why I wanna say
Thank you Lord

TREM Devotional – Christ Did It All For Your Benefit

Bishop Mike Okonkwo

Wisdom For The Day Devotional 17 May 2024 By Bishop Mike Okonkwo – Christ Did It All For Your Benefit

TOPIC: Christ Did It All For Your Benefit (TREM Devotional 17 May 2024)

“Remember that Jesus Christ of the seed of David was raised from the dead according to my gospel:” 2 Timothy 2:8 (KJV)

MESSAGE:

If the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ become only a historical fact to you, then your faith is in vain. Jesus came to die for your sins. He died and rose again triumphantly over hell and the grave. But if it is just a historical fact and not a spiritual reality to you, then you will struggle to appropriate the benefits.

To ensure that you are put on a pedestal of permanent victory in every area of your life, the resurrection must be viewed not only as something that really took place but as a spiritual reality.

I have been on this for a few days because if you get it, your Christian experience will enjoy a complete turnaround. What most believers have is head knowledge, but I need it to sink into your spirit. Jesus did not commit sin, but He became sin that you might become the righteousness of God. He died and rose again so you can become partakers of the Divine nature. He became poor so that you will no longer be stranded in life. His back was lacerated, and His body was broken so that you can receive total wholeness. He did it all for your benefit.

The greatest honour that you can do for this great sacrifice is to experience and enjoy all the good things He has released to us. It will be an abuse and an insult not to experience the benefits. It must be a reality in your life. In other words, if the enemy has attacked you with sickness, you must stand in the brutality of your righteousness and say to the enemy: “You cannot stop me! I reject sickness in my body! I reject this growth! I reject this diabetes! It has been carried by Jesus on the cross of Calvary. By His stripes, I am healed.”

The positive proof that you have the victory is not that he died, but that He resurrected. If He did not rise on the third day, you cannot claim that you are justified. What He did on the cross was for your sins. But your redemption is in the fact that He rose. That is the gospel!

Seeds Of Destiny Devotional – The Necessity Of Vision

Seeds Of Destiny Devotional

Dunamis Seeds Of Destiny 17 May 2024 Devotional By Dr. Paul Enenche: The Necessity Of Vision

TOPIC: The Necessity Of Vision (Seeds Of Destiny 17 May 2024)

SCRIPTURE: And the Lord said unto Abram, after that Lot was separated from him, Lift up now thine eyes, and look from the place where thou art northward, and southward, and eastward, and westward: For all the land which thou seest, to thee will I give it, and to thy seed for ever. Genesis 13:14-15

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: If God will give it, man must see it. If God will do it, man must see it.

MESSAGE:

It has been made abundantly clear that the most reasonable way to begin anything in life is to begin with God.

Genesis 1:1 says, “In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.”
Now, after God, the next most reasonable way to begin a thing in life is to have a vision. Vision is a critical necessity for the beginning of meaningful things in life and destiny.

Why then is vision necessary?
Let me give you one necessity of vision:
Divine Function happens at the frequency of human vision.
You see, what man sees determines what God gives.

According to our anchor Scripture, Divine Function happens at the frequency of human vision (Genesis 13:14-15)

So, if God will give it, man must see it. If God will do it, man must see it.
In the journey of vision, one should start from spiritual visions before progressing to material visions.

For example, before you can say you want to build a house for yourself, you should first think of what to do for the kingdom of God (Mat.6:33).

You must seek first the kingdom of God and its righteousness before you talk about doing other things for yourself.
Beloved, the questions to ask are: what do you want to become in God? What do you want to achieve in life in your walk with God? What do you want God to do with you? Make up your mind to seek God and His Kingdom first.

Remember this: If God will give it, man must see it. If God will do it, man must see it.

ASSIGNMENT:

  1. Refuse to live without vision. Ask God to both give and rekindle your vision for living.
  2. Place kingdom vision above other visions of life.

PRAYER: Thank You Lord for showing me the necessity of vision. I receive the grace to both conceive and pursue kingdom vision and place it above other visions of life, Lord, in Jesus’ Name.

QUOTE: A vision is what is ahead of you that keeps you going. Culled from “15 Kingdom Strategies For Survival’’ by Dr Paul Enenche.

DAILY READING: Psalm 25-27

AMAZING FACT: Elephants can understand human-like emotions such as feeling a loss, grieving and even crying.

DCLM Daily Manna – Who Is Your Mentor?

Pastor W. F. Kumuyi

DCLM Daily Manna 17 May 2024 Devotional by Pastor W. F. Kumuyi — “Who Is Your Mentor?”

TOPIC: “Who Is Your Mentor?” (DCLM Daily Manna 17 May 2024)

KEY VERSE: “Those things, which ye have both learned, and received, and heard, and seen in me, do: and the God of peace shall be with you” (Philippians 4:9).

TEXT: Philippians 4:9-13 (KJV)

9 Those things, which ye have both learned, and received, and heard, and seen in me, do: and the God of peace shall be with you.

10 But I rejoiced in the Lord greatly, that now at the last your care of me hath flourished again; wherein ye were also careful, but ye lacked opportunity.

11 Not that I speak in respect of want: for I have learned, in whatsoever state I am, therewith to be content.

12 I know both how to be abased, and I know how to abound: every where and in all things I am instructed both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need.

13 I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.

MESSAGE:

The late Warren G. Bennis, an American scholar and authority in leadership studies, had this to say about exemplary leadership: “Excellence is a better teacher than mediocrity. The lessons of the ordinary are everywhere. Truly profound and original insights are to be found only in studying the exemplary”.

Apostle Paul modelled excellence in his leadership and his exemplary lifestyle obviously impacted those he mentored. A case in point is what we read in the text about the Philippian Christians. It was the cradle of a Christian assembly founded by Apostle Paul about two decades after Christ’s death and resurrection. Following Paul’s mentorship, the Philippian congregation, despite their small number and poverty, supported his evangelistic work and sent relief to saints at Jerusalem during a period of famine. They showed commitment to the promotion of the gospel through their selfless giving.

Christian mentees roundly bred by a Spirit-filled leader should respond admirably to the teachings of their mentor as demonstrated by the Philippian church. The ideal mentoring is to have the learners and their tutor be on the same page from the beginning. Also, the Christian mentor, like Paul, must not fail to “declare all the counsel of God” while the learners must not fail to absorb all that is imparted.

Every Christian, old and young, must seek to receive guidance from mentors the way the Philippians did in the First Century.

But we need to follow only those with proven biblical probity. We must weigh them on the scale of scriptural integrity. Above all, we must see Jesus Christ, the Author and Finisher of our faith, as our ultimate Mentor.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY
If your spiritual mentor does not mirror Christ, drop the mirror and keep looking unto Jesus.

TREM Devotional – Jesus Did It

Bishop Mike Okonkwo

Wisdom For The Day Devotional 16 May 2024 By Bishop Mike Okonkwo – Jesus Did It

TOPIC: Jesus Did It (TREM Devotional 16 May 2024)

“For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus.” – Romans 3:23-24 (KJV)

MESSAGE:

God has made provision for us to be forgiven by faith in the sacred blood of Jesus. This happened to demonstrate God’s justice. Jesus came like we read yesterday and took on the form of a man. He paid the supreme price – the death on the cross on our behalf.

Before Jesus came, sin was covered with the sacrifice of animals. But now with His own blood, once and for all, everything about sin had been eradicated.

When the season of tolerance came to an end, there was only one possible way for God to give away his righteousness. Through the perfect sacrifice of Christ. It cannot be earned! Not to be deserved, and not to be merited. You can only receive the gift of righteousness through faith in the perfect sacrifice of Christ.

We were all sinners! We all became sinners by the sin of Adam. So, all you need to become a sinner is to be born. Once you are born, you are a sinner because you have the seed of sin inside you. Just like you have the DNA of your parents when you were born. However, Jesus, through His perfect sacrifice released us from the guilt of sin and the accusation of the law.

“Where, then, is there room for boasting? Do our works bring God’s acceptance? Not at all! It was not our works of keeping the law but our faith in his finished work that made us right with God. So our conclusion is this: God’s wonderful declaration that we are righteous in his eyes can only come when we put our faith in Christ, and not in keeping the law.” Romans 3:27-28 (TPT).

It is our faith in Christ that makes us right before God. There is no room for boasting because nothing can earn us right standing before God except faith in Jesus. He did it!

By reason of what Jesus accomplished on your behalf, you will be fulfilled! Only good things will come from your camp. And you will not be small.

Seeds Of Destiny Devotional – The Worthless Sacrifice

Seeds Of Destiny Devotional

Dunamis Seeds Of Destiny 16 May 2024 Devotional By Dr. Paul Enenche: The Worthless Sacrifice

TOPIC: The Worthless Sacrifice (Seeds Of Destiny 16 May 2024)

SCRIPTURE: The sacrifice of the wicked is an abomination to the Lord: but the prayer of the upright is his delight. Proverbs 15:8.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: A sinful lifestyle makes a great sacrifice worthless.

MESSAGE:

The Scripture makes it clear in our anchor text above that the sacrifice of the wicked is an abomination to the Lord.

During one of our beginning-of-the-year fast many years ago, the whole church was joyfully involved in the 21-day fast to seek the Face of the Lord regarding the rest of the year. We were all fasting and coming to church daily in the evening to pray corporately. In the course of the fast, God honoured His Word and glorified Himself. There were a lot of testimonies of what God did in the lives of His people during the fast.

However, there was a young man who also participated in the fast while at the same time living with a young lady he was not married to.

What a contradiction! What a waste of sacrifice!

Two of them would fast in the day and participate in the prayer in the church in the evening, yet they would go home to continue in immorality.

And the pathetic thing is that the young man refused to change from that lifestyle.

That lifestyle was an attack on their offerings and sacrifice. It was an attack on their consecration.

Beloved, a filthy or sinful lifestyle is an attack on your spiritual exercises and sacrifices; a sinful lifestyle makes a great sacrifice worthless.

In Zechariah 3, Joshua the high priest was going to make sacrifices before God, but he was resisted by satan because of his filthy garment.

You know, a major assignment of a priest is offering of sacrifices. But here was Joshua being resisted by satan because of his filthy garment. And God was not going to collect polluted bread from his compromised hands.

So, anytime your garment is filthy, your sacrifices are not acceptable to God. When you fast with a filthy garment on, your fasting will produce no result.

Your fasting, giving, offering, etc. are abominable to God and unprofitable to your life and destiny when your garment is filthy. What you put in the offering basket, no matter how huge, is a waste when your garment is filthy.

Remember this: A sinful lifestyle makes a great sacrifice worthless.

ASSIGNMENTS:

  1. Refuse to make your labour and sacrifice for the Kingdom a worthless one.
  2. Strive first for Divine acceptance before you offer sacrifice and offerings to God.

PRAYER: Lord, I receive the grace to present myself and my body a holy and acceptable offering to You always. I ask that You accept both myself and my sacrifices Lord, in Jesus’ Name.

FOR FURTHER UNDERSTANDING, GET THIS MESSAGE: WHAT GARMENT ARE YOU WEARING?

QUOTE: When you are clothed in holy garments, you must enjoy the company of the Holy God. When you wear filthy garments, you invite the company of the filthy devil. Culled from the book, “WHO ARE YOU?” by Dr Paul Enenche.

DAILY READING: Psalm 22-24

AMAZING FACT: Nearly all colours have a physical wavelength associated with it, but the colour Magenta doesn’t.

PROPHETIC WORD (DECLARATION): Receive the grace to live continually to please the Lord in Jesus’ Name.

Today’s devotional was written by Pastor Paul Enenche of the Dunamis International Gospel Centre (DIGC), headquartered at Abuja, Nigeria, with Pastor Paul and Becky Enenche, as the Senior Pastors. DCLM Daily Manna – Knowing And Doing His Will

Pastor W. F. Kumuyi

DCLM Daily Manna 16 May 2024 Devotional By Pastor W. F. Kumuyi — Knowing And Doing His Will Pride”

TOPIC: Knowing And Doing His Will (DCLM Daily Manna 16 May 2024)

KEY VERSE: “And if ye go to war in your land against the enemy that oppresseth you, then ye shall blow an alarm with the trumpets; and ye shall be remembered before the LORD your God, and ye shall be saved from your enemies” (Numbers 10:9).

TEXT: Numbers 10:1-10 (KJV)

1 And the Lord spake unto Moses, saying,

2 Make thee two trumpets of silver; of a whole piece shalt thou make them: that thou mayest use them for the calling of the assembly, and for the journeying of the camps.

3 And when they shall blow with them, all the assembly shall assemble themselves to thee at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation.

4 And if they blow but with one trumpet, then the princes, which are heads of the thousands of Israel, shall gather themselves unto thee.

5 When ye blow an alarm, then the camps that lie on the east parts shall go forward.

6 When ye blow an alarm the second time, then the camps that lie on the south side shall take their journey: they shall blow an alarm for their journeys.

7 But when the congregation is to be gathered together, ye shall blow, but ye shall not sound an alarm.

8 And the sons of Aaron, the priests, shall blow with the trumpets; and they shall be to you for an ordinance for ever throughout your generations.

9 And if ye go to war in your land against the enemy that oppresseth you, then ye shall blow an alarm with the trumpets; and ye shall be remembered before the Lord your God, and ye shall be saved from your enemies.

10 Also in the day of your gladness, and in your solemn days, and in the beginnings of your months, ye shall blow with the trumpets over your burnt offerings, and over the sacrifices of your peace offerings; that they may be to you for a memorial before your God: I am the Lord your God.

MESSAGE:

There was a story about a Scottish Highlands widow whose only son sends a monthly letter. The old lady was bitter that her son in Australia did not care about her. One day, a visitor asked what her son had done for her. She replied, “He writes to me regularly, once a month, but only sends me a little picture with his letter.” That “little picture” was actually her monthly upkeep money, but her ignorance of the worth of the currency left her wallowing in poverty.

Equally, in our text, God made provisions for Israel, His chosen people that looked simple but had the potency to command His mighty intervention on their behalf. The Lord instructed them to make two silver trumpets that would be used for special occasions – to order their movement, to assemble the congregation, to encourage their armies in battle and on festive moments. These trumpets were to be handled only by the two priests (the sons of Aaron). However, the nation’s history showed that they often abandoned God’s provision and chased vanity until their enemies defeated them. But whenever they moved at God’s command, victory and success came their way.

Believers are privileged to have guiding and shielding instruments such as God’s word, the name of Jesus, His atoning blood and prayer, which, when utilised, open the door to great possibilities. The challenge is not whether there is enough to go around everyone but if His children will tap these resources in their hour of need.

To see God manifest His power on our behalf, we must obey His word, remain in faith, pray fervently and continue to sound the alarm of the gospel message to the unconverted. If we do these, no power will stand against us.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY:
Move at God’s pace and get to the right destination at the right time.
