Seeds Of Destiny Devotional – Faith, A Key To Triumph

Paul Enenche

Dunamis Seeds Of Destiny 12 October 2022 Devotional By Dr. Paul Enenche – Faith, A Key To Triumph

TOPIC: Faith, A Key To Triumph (Seeds Of Destiny 12 October 2022)

SCRIPTURE: For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith. 1 John 5:4.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: Faith has the capacity to make a victor out of a victim, a captain out of a captive, a conqueror out of the conquered.

MESSAGE:

The Scripture makes it clear that faith is key to triumph. Faith is key to victory in life and in destiny.

Hebrews 11:32-34 says,
And what shall I more say? for the time would fail me to tell of Gedeon, and of Barak, and of Samson, and of Jephthae; of David also, and Samuel, and of the prophets: Who through faith subdued kingdoms, wrought righteousness, obtained promises, stopped the mouths of lions, quenched the violence of fire, escaped the edge of the sword, out of weakness were made strong, waxed valiant in fight, turned to flight the armies of the aliens.

Faith is the guarantee of victory any day, anytime and anywhere, both in the physical and spiritual realms. Faith has the capacity to make a victor out of a victim, a captain out of a captive, a conqueror out of the conquered. By faith, you subdue kingdoms, humiliate dangers, escape calamities, turnaround battles and put the enemy on the run.

Beloved, have you been a victim of negative circumstances of life? I decree that you are rising today as a victor. Have you been conquered in life? I decree that you are rising up today as a conqueror. And if you have been a captive of the situations of life, you are stepping out today as a captain in Jesus’ Name.

Faith gives you the capacity to deal with the same devil that has kept you under bondage. Faith is the reason why you would not lose the battles of life again. I decree that you shall not lose any battle of life again, in Jesus’ Name.

Beloved, you need faith to triumph in life.

Remember this: Faith has the capacity to make a victor out of a victim, a captain out of a captive, a conqueror out of the conquered.

ASSIGNMENTS:

  1. Make up your mind to triumph in life by the weapon of faith.
  2. Develop your faith by studying and acting on the Word of God consistently.

PRAYER: Father, I receive Your Grace to triumph in life by the weapon of faith. Help me to develop my faith, Lord, in Jesus’ Name.

QUOTE: When your faith is weak, your destiny is not secured.
Culled from “15 KINGDOM STRATEGIES FOR SURVIVAL” by Dr Paul Enenche.

DAILY BIBLE READING: Matthew 18-20.

AMAZING FACT: Lions are not as fast as other types of big cats, such as leopards and tigers. They hunt using teamwork and rely more on strength than speed to catch and kill prey.

PROPHETIC WORD/DECLARATION: I decree the collapse of every obstacle in front of you today in Jesus’ Name.

DCLM Daily Manna – Our Brighter Future

Pastor W. F. Kumuyi

DCLM Daily Manna 12 October 2022 Devotional By Pastor W. F. Kumuyi — Our Brighter Future

TOPIC: Our Brighter Future (DCLM Daily Manna 12 October 2022)

TEXT: Revelation 21:1-9 (KJV)

1 And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.

2 And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.

3 And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God.

4 And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.

5 And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful.

6 And he said unto me, It is done. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely.

7 He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son.

8 But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.

9 And there came unto me one of the seven angels which had the seven vials full of the seven last plagues, and talked with me, saying, Come hither, I will shew thee the bride, the Lamb’s wife.

KEY VERSE: “He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son” (Revelation 21:7)

MESSAGE:

In her autobiography, My Life, one-time Prime Minister of modern Israel, Golda Meir, wrote about the mixed feelings she and other early settlers in Palestine had as they began the journey from Milwaukee, United States, to a new life in the territory that would again be the home of the Jews. Because of her people’s traumatised past and an unsettling present, she felt a yet more distressing future, despite the prospects of heading for their ancestral homeland given to them by the Lord.

The true follower of Jesus Christ cannot, however, harbour such a mixed reaction as he views his hereafter. He will not have any fear as to his spiritual status when death closes his eyes or when the rapture takes place and the saints are taken into the Lord’s bosom. They have no reason to disbelieve the several promises God has made in His word to take them to heaven. The redeemed will be ferried to the abode of God on the wings of Christ’s marvellous grace.

His assurance is that, over there, we shall forget past and present sadness, suffering and setbacks. We will “inherit all things” in His kingdom while those who spurn His word will perish in hell.

When you are promised such a home, you look forward to it with great excitement exceeding any earthly anticipation. You strive to enter there, shunning sinful distractions and unfounded apprehensions that are man-made or Satan-inspired. As we know and believe these truths and the certainty of the ecstasy in heaven, the Lord exhorts us to spread this good news before it is too late.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY:
Heaven is for prepared people.

EeZee Tee Luxury Mega Facility For EeZee Conceptz Global & Launches “Doing Music Business: The Kingdom Approach” Book

A new milestone was achieved in the Mindustry on Monday, the 10th of October 2022 as the new EeZee Conceptz ultra-modern facility located in the heart of Lagos was unveiled. The facility which features the studios, offices and other sectors of the outfit has become the symbol of the Gospel music ministry and industry (Mindustry) in Nigeria.

The unveiling of the facility commemorated Mr. Ezekiel “EeZee Tee” ThankGod‘s birthday and the “Doing Music Business: The Kingdom Approach” book launch.

Present for the events include Iconic Nollywood actor and producer Hilda Dokubo, Gospel Reggae legend Buchi, CEO of Honesty Missions, Mr Anthony Umeh, EeZee Conceptz Global artistes Chidinma, Great Daniel, Judikay and Minister GUCAlso Tehila Records CEO Tim Ogboruche and Enkay Ogboruche.

Pastor Biodun Fatoyinbo of Commonwealth of Zion (COZA) also made a special appearance. He blessed and launched the book alongside other men of God present at the event. Also present were EeZee Tee’s parents, siblings, wife and daughter.

Giving a statement before the launch of the book, EeZee Tee opined that putting structure and aligning with principles for the Gospel music business in Nigeria is not just a discipline for him but a call which he is resolute to fulfill.

“Man is born with an appointment to discover, fulfill purpose and vision that is in sync with divinity and glorifies God,” he said.

“I had the privilege of being born and nurtured in a Christian home. My beloved parents taught me the way of the Lord and service to God early. I employed my skill in music to serve God’s people as a drummer.

“Growth was encountered by the word of God, and the indispensable work of the Holy Spirit. The faith walk and service in the vineyard wasn’t without challenges which prompted a burden by the Spirit to proffer solutions that could mitigate challenges within the Gospel music industry and advance God’s Kingdom. I figured that the music ministry/industry (MINDUSTRY) in the body of Christ needed and still needs an intervention by willing and yielded soldiers of Christ (Both as investors and contributors) called for SERVICE, IMPACT and BUSINESS on this mountain of Arts & Entertainment, to harness its powerful potentials for the propagation of the Gospel of the Kingdom of God. This mountain has long been ignored and has been ravaged by infiltrators from the pit of hell (The Luciferian Agenda) which has caused a few setbacks in the Gospel Music industry in general. The secular or mainstream platforms utilizing its power, influenced culture, spirituality, emotions, fashion, politics, language, finance, sociology etc.

“Yes there has been huge growth and progress in the MINDUSTRY, nevertheless The Mindustry in Nigeria suffered a setback in the attempt to rightly influence the world, not because it was void of the anointing or knowledge to so do, but was impeded by the inability to embrace an understanding of the principles, strategies and technicalities of utilizing the navigations of the ecosystem to effectively influence the world for the Kingdom of God. Over the years therefore, I was persuaded that my platform for Kingdom expansion is not the “church” in a denominational sense but explore the word of God to a generation in dire need of restoration through Gospel Music. My vision, by the help of the Holy Spirit is to proffer solutions that mitigates this knowledge deficit by revealing working principles which are being made possible by the right utilization of my God-given potentials on the mountain of Arts & Entertainment, thereby propagating the Gospel of the Kingdom of God.

“As a Kingdom witness and Music Executive, my earnest desire ultimately, is that Gospel Music in Nigeria and globally is respected for the life changing impact and excellence it brings in its purest form.

“To that end, I have compressed my thoughts, experiences and knowledge in a book form titled “Music Business: The Kingdom Approach” slated for public presentation on the 10th of October, 2022.

“At the risk of sounding immodest, permit me to say this is the birth of the “MINDUSTRY,” the balance of Ministry values and Industry principles in the Mountain of Media and Entertainment. Combining the twin values of competence and Character.

“I am grateful to God for the gift of life, the gift of vision, the revelation and alignment of purpose and most of all, the Grace of God to fulfill purpose. We must stand up high and start working resolutely as God helps us. Whatever improvements we note and desire, God has given us the ability to effect.

“God bless His Works.

TREM Devotional – God Will Always Fulfill His Promises

Dr. Mike Okonkwo TREM

Wisdom For The Day Devotional 11 October 2022 By Bishop Mike Okonkwo – God Will Always Fulfill His Promises

TOPIC: God Will Always Fulfill His Promises (TREM Devotional 11 October 2022)

“Not one of all the Lord’s good promises to Israel failed; everyone was fulfilled.” Joshua 21:45 (NIV)

MESSAGE:

The mentality you should develop within you is that of a winner all the time.

Now that you are a member of God’s family, the whole of heavenly resources belongs to you. God will always deploy all the Angels if need be to ensure that you are protected. Let this mindset be in you knowing fully well that God keeps His promises. He is not like man! Whatever has gone out of His mouth has to happen. It does not matter what Doctors say, it has to happen. Whether they like it or not, it has to happen. You need to wrap your mind around the fact that you are loved with an everlasting love. He who spared not His son, how shall He not also freely give you all things.

So, why do you allow the devil to run a roughshod over your life and tell you when to eat and when not to eat? He has no such power! He is able to speak to you consistently because you have abdicated your authority. The bible says we have received the abundance of Grace and the gift of righteousness to reign on earth. Stop waiting for heavens! Reign in that circumstance. Reign in your space. Silence the devil that is trying to tell you that you can’t reign. Heaven has already sealed it up.

Christ has been made unto us wisdom, righteousness, sanctification, and redemption. Anything that could be a hindrance has been dealt with. “For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father. The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God: and if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ…(Romans 8:15-17 KJV).

Stop the devil from telling you that you cannot succeed. Develop a winning mentality because His promises have no margin for failure. They shall be fulfilled in every area of your life.

Seeds Of Destiny Devotional – Don’t Join The Crowd To Commit Sin

Paul Enenche

Dunamis Seeds Of Destiny 11 October 2022 Devotional By Dr. Paul Enenche – Don’t Join The Crowd To Commit Sin

TOPIC: Don’t Join The Crowd To Commit Sin (Seeds Of Destiny 11 October 2022)

SCRIPTURE: You must not follow the crowd in doing wrong. Exodus 23:2 (NLT)

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: The fact that everyone is doing the wrong thing does not make it right.

MESSAGE:

It has been confirmed that a changed lifestyle is the essence of Christianity. A changed habit and lifestyle include the refusal to participate in cheating, examination malpractices, and other sinful practices.

Today, there are some examination centres called miracle centres. These are centres where examinations are written for students.

In these examination centres or halls that look like discussion centres, the invigilators look away while question papers and answer sheets are being exchanged by students. The invigilators, after being compromised by bribery, will deliberately refuse to do anything to stop the malpractice. No student fails in these centres. Everyone gets distinctions or the A- grade in all subjects.

What a hell-bound A-grade! Is that an A-grade or distinction in hellology? It is doubtless a distinction that can end a person in eternal flames of hellfire. What a waste of time, life and energy! This shall not be your portion in Jesus’ Name.

Beloved, what kind of Christian are you when unbelievers indulge in examination malpractices and you also join them to do the same thing?

There are some people today with degrees and certificates that are not higher than toilet or tissue papers because such certificates were acquired through high scale examinations malpractices, bribing or sleeping with lecturers.

At the end when such people begin to struggle in life, they will begin to wonder why they are struggling. They will begin to put their pastor under pressure to pray for a miracle to happen so that a degree they did not earn will give them a good job.

Beloved, the fact that everyone is doing the wrong thing does not make it right. Despite what people do, the standard of God remains sure.

Remember this: The fact that everyone is doing the wrong thing does not make it right.

ASSIGNMENTS:

  1. Disconnect from wrong associations that make you do wrong things.
  2. Seek Godly association that will push you into God, and into good.

PRAYER: I receive the grace Lord, to be different in my generation. Help me not to follow the multitude to commit sin, Lord in Jesus’ Name.

FOR FURTHER UNDERSTANDING, GET THIS MESSAGE: THE ESSENCE OF CHRISTIANITY.

QUOTE: A life of no integrity is a life of no character. It is not wisdom for a man to live such a life that cannot be trusted or relied upon. Culled from “21 FOOLISH THINGS PEOPLE DO” by Dr Paul Enenche.

DAILY BIBLE READING: Matthew 15-17.

AMAZING FACT: Lions can see six times better in the dark than a human. At night, a reflective coating on the back of their eyes helps capture moonlight.

PROPHETIC WORD/DECLARATION: Mercy from God be released on you for compromises of time past in Jesus’ Name.

DCLM Daily Manna – Payback For A Busybody

Pastor W. F. Kumuyi

DCLM Daily Manna 11 October 2022 Devotional By Pastor W. F. Kumuyi — Payback For A Busybody

TOPIC: Payback For A Busybody (DCLM Daily Manna 11 October 2022)

TEXT: Song Of Solomon 1:4-9 (KJV)

4 Draw me, we will run after thee: the king hath brought me into his chambers: we will be glad and rejoice in thee, we will remember thy love more than wine: the upright love thee.

5 I am black, but comely, O ye daughters of Jerusalem, as the tents of Kedar, as the curtains of Solomon.

6 Look not upon me, because I am black, because the sun hath looked upon me: my mother’s children were angry with me; they made me the keeper of the vineyards; but mine own vineyard have I not kept.

7 Tell me, O thou whom my soul loveth, where thou feedest, where thou makest thy flock to rest at noon: for why should I be as one that turneth aside by the flocks of thy companions?

8 If thou know not, O thou fairest among women, go thy way forth by the footsteps of the flock, and feed thy kids beside the shepherds’ tents.

9 I have compared thee, O my love, to a company of horses in Pharaoh’s chariots.

KEY VERSE: “Look not upon me, because I am black, because the sun hath looked upon me: my mother’s children were angry with me; they made me the keeper of the vineyards; but mine own vineyard have I not kept” (Song Of Solomon 1:6).

MESSAGE:

Busybodies incur avoidable suffering because of their meddlesome habits. Not content with their business in life, they stray into strange territory where they are led into misery and contempt.

That was also the lot of the Shulamite woman. She complained that her siblings were angry with her because she abandon her duty post to meddle in the affairs of others. As a result, she suffered severe consequences. Her fair skin became dark from the heat of the sun.

Trouble awaits believers who do not heed the Lord’s counsel that “No man that warreth entangleth himself with the affairs of this life; that he may please him who hath chosen him to be a soldier” (2 Timothy 2:4). We have a solemn commandment that we should focus only on our commitment to serve the Lord through the great commission. We are not to meddle in matters which do not concern us. The believer must remain pure while he awaits the return of his Master.

The Christian needs to be spiritually awake in order not to be drawn into demanding social activities, attempting business deals that would not permit time and consecration for the work of Christ. Such promising offers are at the beginning prosperous, but gradually deprive us of time for evangelism and regular church attendance. Naturally, zeal for heaven’s business would wane. The Lord frowns at such a Christian the same way the Shulamite’e brothers were angry with her for not tending the work given her.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY:
Busybodies do not please God.

TREM Devotional – Don’t Listen To The Whispering Of The Enemy

Dr. Mike Okonkwo TREM

Wisdom For The Day Devotional 10 October 2022 By Bishop Mike Okonkwo – Don’t Listen To The Whispering Of The Enemy

TOPIC: Don’t Listen To The Whispering Of The Enemy (TREM Devotional 10 October 2022)

“For the mouth of the wicked and the mouth of the deceitful are opened against me: They have spoken against me with a lying tongue. Psalm 109:2 (KJV)

MESSAGE:

The devil is whispering in your ears saying: “Do you believe that God loves you? If He loves you, why is your miracle still tarrying? With all you are doing in the church, you are giving, you are committed, you are dedicated, look at you; you are not blessed” The devil is the whispering enemy and he comes to steal, to kill, and to destroy. But thank God, Jesus came to give us life in abundance.

Don’t listen to the whispering of the enemy.

Though he speaks loudly into your ears, you need to speak the word until you subdue him. Don’t wait for another time. Don’t wait till you get to heaven. You are complete in Christ who is the head of all principalities and powers.

It is wrong to wake up and you are thinking about how bad you are and how many times you have failed. Instead of all these, wake up and fellowship with the Father by saying “Father, thank you for loving me despite my mess. Thank you that I am righteous in Christ. Thank you because you have sanctified me. Thank you because sin does not have dominion over me. Thank you because I am more than a conqueror. I have the mind of Christ. My knowledge is sharp. I am mentally alert. I am strong spiritually. I am filled with vitality. I can never fail. No weapon formed against me shall prosper”

I don’t know what you say when you wake up. You must understand that you are expected to walk in dominion and authority. For your sins have been forgiven and forgotten, why do you pity yourself every day, so that God can see you and say; okay because you have beaten yourself enough I have forgiven you? Your sins are already forgiven. You are no more a stranger. You are part of the family of God. It’s a done deal. Speak with boldness and authority. You cannot be denied. God is for you. No one can be against you. Give no room to the whispering enemy. Silence him!

Seeds Of Destiny Devotional – Who Is A Real Christian?

Seeds Of Destiny Devotional

Dunamis Seeds Of Destiny 10 October 2022 Devotional By Dr. Paul Enenche – Who Is A Real Christian?

TOPIC: Who Is A Real Christian? (Seeds Of Destiny 10 October 2022)

SCRIPTURE: Nevertheless the foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal, The Lord knoweth them that are his. And, Let everyone that nameth the name of Christ depart from iniquity. 2 Timothy 2:19.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: Real Christianity is confirmed by change in a person’s habit and lifestyle.

MESSAGE:

Some time ago, on a particular morning, I needed some cash to do something. At that time, my wife who handles our family finances had travelled.

However, to my relief, I saw Three Thousand Naira (N3,000.00) by our bedside, so, I took it and used it.

Immediately, I put a call through to her and said, sorry, “I saw Three Thousand Naira (N3,000.00) by the bedside, I don’t know what it was meant for but I have used it.”
She said, “Okay sir. No challenge. Thank God that money was available for you to use.”

Now, imagine this: the house is mine and the person I took the permission from is my wife. And in all probability, the money should have been mine, but I was not sure what it was meant for. So, I had to take permission from my wife. I could not have done otherwise.

Some people are given money from their offices to purchase some things and they were expected to make retirements but at the end, they never did. Despite all their dishonest and fraudulent practices, they keep going to church without any sense of guilt or shame.

What is the use of one’s church attendance without a corresponding positive change of character in one’s life? And what is the use of going to church if one is to end one’s life in hellfire?

So, real Christianity is confirmed by change in a person’s habit, character and lifestyle.

The essence of Christianity is in putting away the old nature of the flesh and letting the Nature of Jesus Christ take root in you for total transformation of life in order to live righteously on earth, and escape the tragedy of hellfire in eternity.

Remember this: Real Christianity is confirmed by change in a person’s habit and lifestyle.

ASSIGNMENTS:

  1. Make up your mind to be a real Christian.
  2. Refuse to be fraudulent in financial dealings.

PRAYER: Father, I receive the grace to be a real and authentic Christian. Deliver me from fraudulent lifestyle, Lord, in Jesus’ Name.

FOR FURTHER UNDERSTANDING, GET THIS MESSAGE: THE ESSENCE OF CHRISTIANITY.

QUOTE: It is better, far better, and more wisdom, to be genuine, real, sincere, and true, than to be fraudulent, insincere and dubious in character. Culled from “21 FOOLISH THINGS PEOPLE DO” by Dr Paul Enenche.

DAILY BIBLE READING: Matthew 12-14

AMAZING FACT: Of the big cats, only the tiger, lion, leopard, and jaguar can roar.

PROPHETIC WORD/DECLARATION: Grace for real and evidential change of life is released for you in Jesus’ Name.

DCLM Daily Manna – Avoid Hatred

Pastor W. F. Kumuyi

DCLM Daily Manna 10 October 2022 Devotional By Pastor W. F. Kumuyi — Avoid Hatred

TOPIC: Avoid Hatred (DCLM Daily Manna 10 October 2022)

TEXT: Deuteronomy 19:11-21 (KJV)

11 But if any man hate his neighbour, and lie in wait for him, and rise up against him, and smite him mortally that he die, and fleeth into one of these cities:

12 Then the elders of his city shall send and fetch him thence, and deliver him into the hand of the avenger of blood, that he may die.

13 Thine eye shall not pity him, but thou shalt put away the guilt of innocent blood from Israel, that it may go well with thee.

14 Thou shalt not remove thy neighbour’s landmark, which they of old time have set in thine inheritance, which thou shalt inherit in the land that the Lord thy God giveth thee to possess it.

15 One witness shall not rise up against a man for any iniquity, or for any sin, in any sin that he sinneth: at the mouth of two witnesses, or at the mouth of three witnesses, shall the matter be established.

16 If a false witness rise up against any man to testify against him that which is wrong;

17 Then both the men, between whom the controversy is, shall stand before the Lord, before the priests and the judges, which shall be in those days;

18 And the judges shall make diligent inquisition: and, behold, if the witness be a false witness, and hath testified falsely against his brother;

19 Then shall ye do unto him, as he had thought to have done unto his brother: so shalt thou put the evil away from among you.

20 And those which remain shall hear, and fear, and shall henceforth commit no more any such evil among you.

21 And thine eye shall not pity; but life shall go for life, eye for eye, tooth for tooth, hand for hand, foot for foot.

KEY VERSE: “But if any man hate his neighbour, and lie in wait for him, and rise up against him, and smite him mortally that he die, and fleeth into one of these cities: Then the elders of his city shall send and fetch him thence, and deliver him into the hand of the avenger of blood, that he may die” (Deuteronomy 19:11, 12).

MESSAGE:

The twin sins of hatred and dishonesty constitute high percentage of evil befalling the world today. While hatred is responsible for huge death records, dishonesty account for collateral damage to individuals, organisations and states. Considering the destruction of lives and properties that hated has caused in one of the countries in Africa, the parliament of that country in 2018, proposed a hate speech bill with death penalty for its offenders. This was done to reduce the menace of hatred in that country. Hatred is dangerous!

In our text, God reveals murder as a product of hatred and prescribes death as penalty. Although God instructed the children of Israel to separate some cities for refuge into which slayers were permitted to flee, willful murderers were precluded from that privilege. Also, removal of another person’s landmark in order to make fraudulent gain was forbidden. Such an act was a product of dishonesty. Bearing false witness was also forbidden.

To this extent, God required that every accusation be thoroughly investigated before an accused person could be condemned. Where an accusation was found to be baseless and malicious, however, God demanded that the false accuser be punished. In fact, He demanded that the punishment that should have been meted to the accused would be passed on to the false witness.

Murder, from God’s perspective, is not restricted to physical killings: “Whosoever hateth his brother is a murderer: and ye know that no murderer hath eternal life abiding in him” (1 John 3:15). We should endeavour to have genuine love for others. We must not allow the pains of offence to drag on in us as that could lead to hatred. We are instructed to love our enemies, bless those that curse us and pray for them that despitefully use and persecute us (Matthew 5:44).

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY:
Beware! Hatred is a forerunner to murder.

TREM Devotional – Jesus Paid It All

Dr. Mike Okonkwo TREM

Wisdom For The Day Devotional 9 October 2022 By Bishop Mike Okonkwo – Jesus Paid It All

TOPIC: Jesus Paid It All (TREM Devotional 9 October 2022)

Jesus Christ rose from the grave and said: “And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, all power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:” (Matthew 28:18-19 KJV)

MESSAGE:

In the book of Mark 16:17-18: “And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; they shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.”

And so they went everywhere preaching the gospel. And God confirmed the word with signs and wonders following. Anytime God wants to deal with us, He looks at Jesus Christ. Since Jesus cannot be denied; we can never be denied. Our sins and our iniquities, He remembers no more. So, stop telling God about your sin. He doesn’t even know whether it ever exists. “For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their iniquities will I remember no more”(Hebrew 8:12 KJV). Why? Is it that God is soft on sin? Is it that He is now ignoring or overlooking sin? No! He said He won’t remember it again because the blood of Jesus has eradicated it.

Your sin doesn’t exist because the blood of Jesus went into your past, came into your present, and also moved into your future and looked for any sin that will ever have any effect in your life, and eradicated it so that you can walk in liberty. Stand therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ has set you free. Walk-in liberty. Walk-in victory. You are a child of the Most-High God. Heaven reckons on you. Your matter matters to heaven.

Seeds Of Destiny Devotional – Prayer As An Avenue For Servicing The Relationship Between God And Man

Paul Enenche

Dunamis Seeds Of Destiny 9 October 2022 Devotional By Dr. Paul Enenche – Prayer As An Avenue For Servicing The Relationship Between God And Man

TOPIC: Prayer As An Avenue For Servicing The Relationship Between God And Man (Seeds Of Destiny 9 October 2022)

SCRIPTURE: After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Matthew 6:9.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: You can confirm that a person has a solid relationship with God by the buoyancy, vibrancy or liveliness of their prayer life.

MESSAGE:

Prayer has been confirmed to be an avenue for servicing the relationship between God and man.

Relationship is serviced by communication. This is why communication breakdown equals relationship break down. Where people have quality relationship, communication is quality. Where people have a defective relationship, communication becomes deficient.

Relationship thrives on communication; the more lively the communication, the more functional the relationship; the more lively the communication, the healthier the relationship.

You can confirm the nature of the relationship between a person and his God by the quality of his prayer life. You can confirm that a person has a solid relationship with God by the buoyancy, vibrancy or liveliness of their prayer life. Every time your prayer life begins to reduce, it is a proof that something is wrong with your relationship with God.

Now, what does communion with God achieve in the life of a child of God?
The Opportunity to know God
As a person communicates with God at the place of prayer, he is given the opportunity to really know the God he serves (Hosea 6:3).

You can’t know a person you don’t spend time with. You really get to know people as you spend time with them.

You see, there are people who may be in courtship for some years and won’t know each other until they get married. This is because after marriage, they have more time together. And also after marriage, it becomes difficult to hide things from each other.

So, we have the opportunity to really know God at the place of prayer. And the people who know their God shall be strong and do exploits (Daniel 11:32). Prayer brings you to the point where you know the God you are serving.

Remember this: You can confirm that a person has a solid relationship with God by the buoyancy, vibrancy or liveliness of their prayer life.

ASSIGNMENTS:

  1. Service your relationship with God by prayer.
  2. Make up your mind to know more about God by praying without ceasing.

PRAYER: Lord, I ask that You help me to know You more. I receive the grace to service my relationship with You by a buoyant and vibrant prayer life, Lord in Jesus Name.

QUOTE: It is wisdom to find out what you are looking for in life; what God wants to do with your life; what will take you to your desired destination fast, and direct your energies there. The first of such activities, I believe, is your relationship with God – the time given to prayer and the study of the Word. Culled from “21 FOOLISH THINGS PEOPLE DO” by Dr Paul Enenche.

DCLM Daily Manna – God Is Good

Pastor W. F. Kumuyi

DCLM Daily Manna 9 October 2022 Devotional By Pastor W. F. Kumuyi — God Is Good

TOPIC: God Is Good (DCLM Daily Manna 9 October 2022)

TEXT: Nahum 1:1-9 (KJV)

1 The burden of Nineveh. The book of the vision of Nahum the Elkoshite.

2 God is jealous, and the Lord revengeth; the Lord revengeth, and is furious; the Lord will take vengeance on his adversaries, and he reserveth wrath for his enemies.

3 The Lord is slow to anger, and great in power, and will not at all acquit the wicked: the Lord hath his way in the whirlwind and in the storm, and the clouds are the dust of his feet.

4 He rebuketh the sea, and maketh it dry, and drieth up all the rivers: Bashan languisheth, and Carmel, and the flower of Lebanon languisheth.

5 The mountains quake at him, and the hills melt, and the earth is burned at his presence, yea, the world, and all that dwell therein.

6 Who can stand before his indignation? and who can abide in the fierceness of his anger? his fury is poured out like fire, and the rocks are thrown down by him.

7 The Lord is good, a strong hold in the day of trouble; and he knoweth them that trust in him.

8 But with an overrunning flood he will make an utter end of the place thereof, and darkness shall pursue his enemies.

9 What do ye imagine against the Lord? he will make an utter end: affliction shall not rise up the second time.

KEY VERSE: “The LORD is good, a strong hold in the day of trouble; and he knoweth them that trust in him. But with an overrunning flood he will make an utter end of the place thereof, and darkness shall pursue his enemies” (Nahum 1:7, 8).

MESSAGE:

Don Moen gave the world a song for all ages:

“God is good all the time,
He puts a song of praise in this heart of mine,
God is good all the time,
Through the darkest night, His light will shine,
God is good, God is good, all the time.”

Before Don Moen, Nahum had stated that God is good, especially in the time of trouble. It takes faith to understand that truth.

Nahum was one of the minor prophets of the Bible whose message centred on the warning and impending fall of Nineveh. Nahum begins his prophecy by considering the character of God who brings judgment. He starts by recognising Him as jealous. His jealousy is for our sakes so we can be protected from evil. Therefore, He will take vengeance on His adversaries. He is also slow to anger and great in power. Nahum pronounces God’s goodness because He is a Stronghold in the day of trouble. Those who love and trust Him see His goodness and find protection in His stronghold. God knows those who trust in Him. Not only does He know them in the sense of identification, but also in the sense of relationship.

Though we live in a world that seeks to belittle God and His word, as believers, we must know that He has a good plan for all His children and we can put our confidence in Him and His word. God’s goodness is real and comforting. We can trust Him to take care of us in a sinful and wicked world.

God is good, all the time. By the same token, Satan is evil through and through. When you make this good God your Lord and Master, He will keep you from evil; stop and prevent a recurrence of afflictions in your life.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY:
God is good to all. He proved it on the cross!

TREM Devotional – Shut Up The Devil

Dr. Mike Okonkwo TREM

Wisdom For The Day Devotional 7 October 2022 By Bishop Mike Okonkwo – Shut Up The Devil

TOPIC: Shut Up The Devil (TREM Devotional 7 October 2022)

“Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.” Luke 10:19 (KJV)

MESSAGE:

We are the expression of Jesus on earth just as Jesus is the express image of God. Since we are now His expression on earth, God will honor us the way He honors Jesus and we can function the way He functions. If Jesus can shut the devil’s mouth, we should be able to silence the mouth of the wicked. We should be able to tell the devil to his face to shut up. We must understand that shutting up the devil is not a cliché. Shutting up the devil is not a religious saying or ritual. It is our new reality in Christ. It is not an event. It is a revelation! That is who we are! We are supposed to walk in it, not just for a period. It is a lifestyle! Anywhere we go on a daily basis, when we see anything contrary to what Christ died for on our behalf, we shut it up.

We have been authorized to do that.

If the devil tells you that you will not succeed in business tell him: “Shut up”! If he tells you that you will not have a child tell him to shut up. If he tells you that you won’t get married, tell him to shut up. If he tells you that you will not be promoted, tell him to shut up. If he tells you that you are not anointed, tell him to shut up. If he tells you that they are going to deprive you of your rights, tell him to shut up. If he tells you that no one will be able to build a house in your family, tell him to shut up. You have been authorized in Christ’s walk-in dominion.

When the enemy comes against your business, family, finance, womb, or any other area of your life, just shut him up. Don’t allow him to have the final word because Jesus Christ died and rose so that you may exercise dominion. For those that believe, shutting the mouth of the wicked should be a lifestyle. This should be the mentality that drives you.

Seeds Of Destiny Devotional – Praying In The Spirit: A Booster For Prayer

Seeds Of Destiny Devotional

Dunamis Seeds Of Destiny 7 October 2022 Devotional By Dr. Paul Enenche – Praying In The Spirit: A Booster For Prayer

TOPIC — Praying In The Spirit: A Booster For Prayer

SCRIPTURE: Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. Romans 8:26

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: When we don’t know what or how to pray, the Holy Spirit helps our infirmities and gives us direction in prayer.

MESSAGE:

The Holy Ghost is a booster of prayer. When you we don’t know what or how to pray, the Holy Spirit helps our infirmities and gives us direction in prayer.

For example, you may suddenly begin to have a burden to pray for your parents, siblings, wife or a friend without knowing what to pray for them about. You may perceive in the Spirit that something may be wrong with them, but you may not be able to identify the particular issue.

What to do at such a point is to turn to God and say, “O Holy Spirit, I perceive that something is wrong with a loved one, but I do not really know that is going wrong with them. Help me to pray correctly for them.” Then, you begin to pray in the Spirit.

As you continue praying in tongues, God would begin to give you some spiritual impressions in words. Suddenly, the prayer in the Spirit would be translated to words like, “I attack every demon of distraction; my friend cannot lose his job.”

After a while, you would experience a peace of mind. This shows that the battle is won in the realm of the Spirit. This is how the Holy Spirit helps you to pray when you do not know what or how to pray.

The Holy Spirit helps us to pray correctly because our mind is too limited to know the vastness of situations that confront us or people around us daily.

Remember this: When we don’t know what or how to pray, the Holy Spirit helps our infirmities and gives us direction in prayer.

ASSIGNMENTS:

  1. Make up your mind to pray in the Spirit abundantly.
  2. Be sensitive to the impressions of the Holy Ghost as You pray in tongues.

PRAYER: I receive the grace to pray abundantly in the Spirit, Lord, in Jesus’ Name.

DCLM Daily Manna – Unending War

Pastor W. F. Kumuyi

DCLM Daily Manna 7 October 2022 Devotional By Pastor W. F. Kumuyi — Unending War

TOPIC: Unending War (DCLM Daily Manna 7 October 2022)

TEXT: Joshua 24:4-16 (KJV)

4 And I gave unto Isaac Jacob and Esau: and I gave unto Esau mount Seir, to possess it; but Jacob and his children went down into Egypt.

5 I sent Moses also and Aaron, and I plagued Egypt, according to that which I did among them: and afterward I brought you out.

6 And I brought your fathers out of Egypt: and ye came unto the sea; and the Egyptians pursued after your fathers with chariots and horsemen unto the Red sea.

7 And when they cried unto the Lord, he put darkness between you and the Egyptians, and brought the sea upon them, and covered them; and your eyes have seen what I have done in Egypt: and ye dwelt in the wilderness a long season.

8 And I brought you into the land of the Amorites, which dwelt on the other side Jordan; and they fought with you: and I gave them into your hand, that ye might possess their land; and I destroyed them from before you.

9 Then Balak the son of Zippor, king of Moab, arose and warred against Israel, and sent and called Balaam the son of Beor to curse you:

10 But I would not hearken unto Balaam; therefore he blessed you still: so I delivered you out of his hand.

11 And you went over Jordan, and came unto Jericho: and the men of Jericho fought against you, the Amorites, and the Perizzites, and the Canaanites, and the Hittites, and the Girgashites, the Hivites, and the Jebusites; and I delivered them into your hand.

12 And I sent the hornet before you, which drave them out from before you, even the two kings of the Amorites; but not with thy sword, nor with thy bow.

13 And I have given you a land for which ye did not labour, and cities which ye built not, and ye dwell in them; of the vineyards and oliveyards which ye planted not do ye eat.

14 Now therefore fear the Lord, and serve him in sincerity and in truth: and put away the gods which your fathers served on the other side of the flood, and in Egypt; and serve ye the Lord.

15 And if it seem evil unto you to serve the Lord, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.

16 And the people answered and said, God forbid that we should forsake the Lord, to serve other gods;

KEY VERSE: “But I would not hearken unto Balaam; therefore he blessed you still: so I delivered you out of his hand.” – (Joshua 24:10).

MESSAGE:

During the World War II, Sub-Lieutenant Hiroo Onodda of the Imperial Japanese army was ordered to stay on Lubang Island in the Philippines and hold it for the glory of the Emperor. So he did. The following year, the Allies bombed Hiroshima and Nagasaki, and the Japanese surrendered. Shortly after, the war ended, but unfortunately, Sub-Lieutenant Onodda did not know. He kept on fighting. He was totally unaware that the war had ended long ago. Even when the police searched through the jungle using megaphones to ask him to surrender and stop shooting the locals, he refused to give up. It was not until 1974 when they brought in his wartime commanding officer, to order him to surrender, that he finally stopped fighting.

Israel’s challenges and wars after escape from Egyptian bondage also appeared never-ending until the Lord showed up to stop the enemy. There was the crossing of the Red Sea and the forty-year journey through the wilderness. Then the sudden attack by the Amorite nation and the assistance they received during the war. The story of Israel’s deliverance continued with the incident where Balaam was hired against them, but God turned his curses into blessings. When they eventually crossed Jordan into the Promised Land, the Lord again was their Shield and Defense all through the mandatory wars to dispossess the Canaanites.

Like someone rightly said, “victory in the Christian life is not the absence of conflict, but the presence and protection of God during the conflict”. Conflicts and battles will never end as long as we remain on this side of eternity. Our arch enemy, the devil, like a roaring lion, walks about looking for whom he may devour (1 Peter 5:8).

We should not expect the enemy to surrender. We should rather trust in God to deliver us from every battle just like He did for the Israelites.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY:
Followers of Christ must never give up.
