Gospel singer and worship leader, Sonnie Badu, has shared an emotional testimony reflecting on a major health challenge he faced a year ago.
In a recent Instagram post, he revealed that he narrowly escaped death while on an assignment and lost two toes in the process.
The post featured a photo from his surgery, with Sonnie recounting how God spared his life during what seemed to be a life-threatening ordeal. Despite the loss of his toes, Sonnie remained committed to his work and continued to serve his calling.
“Exactly a year ago, they wanted me dead on an assignment. God saved me, and I only lost two toes. Even with that, I was committed to my assignment,” he wrote.
Fast forward to this year, the singer expressed gratitude for his recovery, declaring that he is now “fully fit by the grace of God” and ready to give thanks.
