Nigerian Afro Jazz Saxophonist King, ‘Mike Aremu‘ marks his birthday on Monday 4th May, 2020 amidst love and cheers.
The Niger state bred instrumentalist took to Instagram to celebrate himself with a dashing photo and a grateful caption.
He wrote: “Bless the Lord O my soul and all that is within me, bless His holy name. For He has done great things in my life. I thank God for the blessing and The Blesser who is constantly at work in my life. Praise be to the Almighty!”
The wonderful saxophonist was also celebrated by colleagues in the music industry.
Mike Aremu at the tender age of 8 started his musical career in Niger state, Nigeria by playing musical instruments at his local church before joining the Boys Brigade band in 1995 to learn saxophone.
Mike Aremu who is the organizer of the largest Jazz concert in Africa, has different songs to his name such as Dance, No Shaking, I will Lift up Jesus, Akowaba, Maker of all, You are the one among others remarkable songs.
Mike has also performed alongside top gospel singers including Travis Greene, Kenny G, Kirk Franklin among a host of others.
