Josephine Benson is a U.K. based gospel artiste, a midwife by profession, a musician, businesswoman, a mentor, a mother of one, and an ambassador of Christ by calling.
From a humble background, she attended University Staff Village primary school, Accra Ghana and proceeded to Swedru Senior High School where she had her secondary school education. She then went to the Korle-Bu Nursing and Midwifery Training College, Accra Ghana to pursue her midwifery career. After over 10 years of practice, she relocated to work in the U.K.
Josephine Benson’s music ministry started at a very tender age of 5 years when she ministered powerful solos during her then local church’s children’s day celebrations. Her musical talent and maturity in song ministrations got her into the adult choir at the age of about 9 years. Since then she’s been actively serving in the choir.
She became a backing vocal for Bernard Amankwah (one of Ghana’s gospel artists) which exposed her to back great gospel artists like the late DANNY NETTEY, MAMA CYNTHIA of daughters of glorious Jesus, Rev. THOMAS YAWSON, DIANA HAMILTON, IRENE LOGAN, MOG, CELESTINE DONKOR and many others.
Josephine Benson served as an assistant music director of the “youth singers” during her senior high school education after which she played major roles in directing the headquarters choir, a soloist and as a deaconess of her then-local church.
Her love for humanity and strong desire to bless others with her gifting pushed her to create a YouTube channel plus platforms on other social media handles where she currently actively mentors nurses and midwives who are seeking to migrate to the United Kingdom. She also blesses her followers with her song ministrations, health education and the gospel.
Josephine Benson enjoys reading, singing and mentoring. She has mentored many youth in her local church in Ghana and still mentors many across the globe.
She composed her first music single; “IN THIS PLACE” and was directed and produced by Kayode Omosa (dunakayboard) DUNACK MUSIC.
