About Sammie Okposo
Sammie Okposo is an international artist and multiple award winner. He started playing the piano at the age of 10 and has evolved to one of the biggest names in Nigerian gospel music industry.
Earlier in his music career, he produced sound tracks for the Nigeria movie industry before venturing into music production.
In 2000, he released the hit song WELU WELU showcasing praise to God in the Niger Delta style. As a result of this success and the accompanied popularity, he was invited by the American Ambassador to Nigeria to perform at the Martin Luther King Day and July 4th Independence Day celebrations in 2004.
He is a praise worship leader and member of the choir of House On The Rock Church, Lagos. He is also a brand ambassador for Globacom Nigeria Ltd, a music producer/director, vocal coach, instrumentalist and founder of Zamar Entertainment and Okposo Hope Initiative. He is a United Nations youth ambassador for world peace.
