About Femi Ogebule

Femi Ogebule is an award-winning saxophonist, music scholar, and seasoned artist with over two decades of musical excellence. Based in the United States, he recently made history as the first African saxophonist to perform at the U.S. Capitol in Washington, DC. Femi is the founder of Praise Experience Chicago, one of Illinois’ premier gospel concerts, and a recipient of numerous honors, including the U.S. Congressional Award for Music Moghul of the Year and the World Civility Ambassador Award.

His music has been recognized nationally, with his track “Clap Praise” from the album Arise featured on the Arts for Illinois platform to support artists during the COVID-19 pandemic. Femi’s sound is deeply rooted in the ministry of the Holy Spirit, bringing messages of unity, peace, and healing through the power of gospel music.
