Debra Crown-Olu aka Evangelist Debby Mojisola Adedapo-Olukayode is an anointed worship leader, recording artist and songwriter. She’s committed to the spread of the gospel through modern gospel music, driven by God’s love and helping others to have a heartfelt worship experience, hence her compassion to make music that reflects her Christian faith.
She continues to be an ambassador of the kingdom of God on earth, declaring the promises of God and the mind of our Lord Jesus Christ to all nations of the earth in her gospel music.
Her music fills the heart of the listener with an assurance of joy, hope, peace, healing, good future, breakthroughs, and victory through Christ Jesus, with a grateful heart to God.
Debra’s creativity and passion to worship has taken her to the next level. She is best known for incorporating Afro-Contemporary Gospel music styles and fusing genres such as Afrobeats and R&B into her versatile sound. She released her first Full Album ‘Liberation’ in 2019, followed by her second Full Album ‘Divine Upliftment’ in 2021, and a single titled ‘Salvation of Praise’ in October 2021. In 2022, she released ‘Agape Love’ on Valentine’s Day and ‘No Other Name’ on May 7th.
Debra is talented, loves diversity and known as a woman of excellence. She inaugurated the Soul Worshippers Praise Fellowship, supported at various worship concerts and she is also a member of the Evangelical Alliance, United Kingdom. She has received numerous outstanding awards in the course of her career, voluntary assignments including an outstanding church worker award and AStepFWD UK Christian Chart Top 5 Contemporary Gospel Awarded in August 2021 for her single release ”I Worship”.
Speaking about her newest release, Debra said “OVERCOME” is a masterpiece heartfelt and spirit filled song. It declares the power, victory and salvation by the blood of the Lamb – Jesus Christ, that delivered us through faith in the word of God. By the power in the blood of the Lamb, we overcame challenges of life and redeemed us to flourish in hard times.
Debra went further and said that she is grateful to God for her healing and deliverance from depression. With this sound of gratitude she’s testifying to the power and mystery of the blood of Jesus Christ. Revelation 12:11
