About Rose Yusuf
Rose Yusuf is a well-known Pastor from Igede, Oju local government area of Benue state. She was born into a loving Christian family of thirteen in Makurdi, the capital of Benue State on November 17th, 1969 to a career civil servant and a former Federal Director of Nigeria Hotels Limited Chief James Eriba Agwu, and Mrs. Mary Odije Agwu a retired businesswoman.
She had her primary education at Methodist Primary School in Jos, Plateau State. Her secondary education was at St Anne’s Secondary School Otukpo (1981-1986). She then proceeded to the School of Basic Studies at the Ahmadu Bello University Zaria from 1986 -1987. Rose attended the University of Jos Plateau State where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Theatre Arts in 1991 After her Youth Service in Lagos where she worked as a treasurer in a finance bank.
Rose is known as a simple, warm, and, passionate lover of Jesus. Although she was born into a Christian family, her first encounter with God was at the early age of around nine or ten. She however gave her heart totally to Jesus at the age of 16 and had a very dramatic experience being baptized in the Holy Ghost just as she was graduating from secondary school in 1986.
She got married to her heartthrob Rev Olayinka Abdulrasheed Yusuf and has been co-pastoring the Household of Love Churches of the Love For All Nation Ministry with its headquarters in Lagos Nigeria. They are blessed with a beautiful daughter Angel.
Her Music:Rose is a songwriter and a recording artist with a couple of albums to her credit. She loves to sing, has a deep passion for music, and, also uses music as a tool with which she worships her God. Coming from a family that loves music, it was therefore not surprising that music became a part of her life. As an undergraduate at the University of Jos, Rose and her four close friends formed a gospel music group called “The Minstrels”. They used this as a platform for winning souls for Christ through Music. The Minstrels eventually became the main band of their church at that time. They also had the opportunity to minister with a renowned Nigeria gospel artist Panam Percy Paul. The band lasted about four years and most of the band graduated from the university. Rose also finds time to minister in songs at the home church, in other churches, and at crusades all over the world.
Her Ministry:Rose Yusuf is an ordained pastor, and a counselor and, she sits as the Senior Pastor alongside her husband at the Household of Love Churches with its headquarters in Lagos State Nigeria.
A passionate and effective communicator of God’s Word, Rose Yusuf is known for her dynamic, unapologetic, and practical teaching style which helps people apply the timeless truths of the Scripture to their everyday lives.
She is the founder and leader of the Victorious Women Fellowship (VWF), the women’s wing of the ministry which ministers and caters directly to women. Rose is the marriage counselor and the chairman of the Marriage committee of the ministry.
Mandated by God to prayerfully help prepare the body of Christ for the rapture of the saints at His appearing and the second coming of our Lord Jesus. And, With a burning desire to preach the gospel, Rose went on to set up the Throne-room Prayer platform a weekly prayer ministry presented on social media.
Fueled by her desire to see people live a victorious Christain life; Rose’s Table was formed to meet the spiritual and emotional needs of both old and young by creating a platform to encourage, exhort, answer questions, etc.
Reverend Rose Yusuf’s passion for impacting the lives of the underserved in society led her to set up the RYSPAC Foundation which is very dear to her heart. The RYSPAC Foundation (Rose Yusuf Sponsor A Child Foundation) is a not-for-profit organization established to assist children from deprived backgrounds to have access to good quality Education in an enabling environment. It does this by providing learning opportunities, and tools in a bid to make learning effective and fun. This initiative also provides or presents opportunity to young adults in form of seminars, pep talks , mentorship and general supplies etc.
She was brought up in a highly educated family and, knows too well that education is the gateway to a brighter future. She is the Proprietress of VADIT School, a school saddled with a desire to see all children irrespective of their backgrounds have access to good, quality education. VADIT School is a dream come true as children are being groomed not only academically but spiritually and emotionally in a conducive environment. Located in Ajah, Lagos State, VADIT School is a school where the spirit of excellence is truly expressed.
Rose is also involved in and supports a few other community development initiatives aimed at improving a lot of Nigerians.
She resided in Lagos, Nigeria with her family.
