Gospel music minister MaryJane Nweke is finally out with the much anticipated new single titled “Otuekong.”
She had made the announcement earlier in the month for the release with a snippet stirring up major anticipation for the Traditional Folk Praise song.
“OTUEKONG” directly translates to “Great Warrior” from the Ibibio dialect of the Akwa-Ibom people of the south-south of Nigeria. The rendition is powerfully memorable with its sing-along melody. It is bound to become a regular go-to song on Sunday morning praise and worship sessions – a delight for the worship leader.
MaryJane Nweke, also known as the Golden Voice, who is based in Port Harcourt is a sensational Gospel music minister with a unique sound and style cutting across geographical and cultural boundaries with a natural appeal.
She has songs such as “Doer of Good Things,” off the album “Satisfied”, “Jesus Never Fails” which featured the phenomenalMercy Chinwo, “Same God” and the more recent “What More.”, a great number on the streets and also on streaming platforms. She has ministered in a different part of Nigeria, and also outside the nation alongside other great Gospel music ministers including Frank Edwards, Mercy Chinwo Blessed, Sensational Bamidele, Steve Crown, Joepraize, Samsong, Yinka Ayefele and many more.
The song was recorded at Soundmiles Studio and produced by IMJ. Watch out for the video dropping very soon.
