Gospel Minister and Humanitarian Psalm Ebube, one of West Africa’s most celebrated singers and an empowering voice for Orphans & window ’s rights is one artist whose wealth of experience in the gospel terrain has continued to prove a boon. Last weekend, he clinched the 2017 Gospel Music Icon Award. Held at Oriental Hotel in Lagos, the award named Top Naija Music Awards rewards excellence in the music industry.
Psalm Ebube, who breezed into the music scene with the church anthem, ‘Kabi ‘Osi’ more than a decade ago, has dropped classic songs and was instrumental in releasing a song at last year’s World Humanitarian Day.
And to take us further in the excellence that drives the music through him, here is his new song ‘Oruko Jesu’ that activates the power that’s in Jesus’ Name.
Oruko Jesu (The name of Jesus) is so powerful that ignorance of it is robbing many of God’s blessings and fulfillment in life. The enemy will do anything to keep man in the dark so that he can continue to oppress him. The truth is that the power in the name of Jesus brings deliverance from all oppression of the devil and delivers dominion to mankind.
So if you really have a deep hunger to experience Jesus in a new dimension then Oruko Jesu is a song you need to have on repeat. Let the song minister to your spirit.
Are you tired of feeling beaten down by the enemy? Are you walking in the authority given to you? You’ll never know until you learn to speak the one name that changes everything. “Oruko Jesu” explores the depths of the power of confessing Jesus. There is power in the Name of Jesus and every believer has the authority to use it.
Psalm Ebube will begin a church tour and outside the country starting April

Lyrics: Oruko Jesu By Psalm Ebube
There’s just one name
On earth and above.
Only one name that can open every door.
There’s Just one name that can do all things
That name is Jesus
Oruko eru Jojo
Pre- Chorus
Oruko Jesu kikida Agbara
You’re my Lord You’re my God
Oruko tiku gbo to wole lo
So much power in the name
Chorus
Demons flee,
Chains are broken
The sick is healed
at the name of Jesus
The lame will walk,
Captives set free
Every knee bow
at the name of Jesus
Interlude
Oh oh oh oh oh oh…
In the name of Jesus
There’s Power
There’s Healing
There’s Victory
Bridge
Jesus is here:
To heal the sick oh
Jesus is here:
To mend the broken heart
Jesus is here:
To save to deliver
Restoring the lost oh lord our God
Jesus is here
Giving life to the lifeless
Jesus is here
And Hope to the Hopeless
Jesus is here
There’s Power
in the name of Jesus
Restoring the lost oh lord our God
