TOPIC: Altering The Natural Order (Seeds Of Destiny 8 April 2026)
SCRIPTURE: O earth, earth, earth, hear the word of the Lord. – Jeremiah 22:29
THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: When the natural order stands in the way of your vision or God’s purpose for your life, it is a license for divine interruption.
MESSAGE
Our anchor Scripture makes it clear that the earth is meant to align with the Word of God and not the natural order.
In the divine scheme, the natural order sometimes obstructs God’s ordained purpose in the life and destiny of a man, thereby necessitating divine interruption and intervention.
Please note the following:
i. There are times when the natural order of things can prevent the fulfilment of a person’s destiny.
That is, if things are allowed to proceed according to the natural sequence of things, destiny fulfilment would become impossible.
ii. Some natural orders will need to be interrupted or interfered with if destiny must be fulfilled.
That is, when the natural order stands in the way, they can be interrupted and terminated by Divine intervention.
iii. When the natural order stands in the way of your vision or God’s purpose for your life, it is a license for Divine interruption.
Now, let’s look at scriptural examples of those who altered the natural order of things
- Jacob (Genesis 25:29-34).
Jacob’s life exemplified the interruption of natural order. He altered natural orders to pave way for the fulfilment of God’s plan and purpose for his life.
Naturally, Jacob was the second born of Isaac. He was not meant to be the recipient of the Covenant Blessing and Greatness in the lineage of Abraham. If Jacob sat down and allowed things to follow the normal schedule, maybe we would have been talking about the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Esau.
But Jacob refused to let that happen. He seized the opportunity to acquire Esau’s birthright, and Esau, driven by hunger, sold it to him. Jacob’s bold move resulted in a transaction that had both earthly and heavenly significance. That terrestrial deal had celestial recognition.
Now, how do you alter the natural order?
i. Recognise the disadvantaged position of your life.
ii. Identify the future or destiny you desire.
iii. React against every disadvantaged position of your life and destiny.
vi. Identify your strengths and potential and maximally deploy them.
v. Prayerfully devise and pursue a strategy on how to get to the destiny you desire.
Beloved, don’t watch things flow according to the natural order to the detriment of your life and destiny. You have the license to interrupt and interfere with any natural flow that is not in favour of God’s plan and purpose for your life and destiny.
REMEMBER THIS: When the natural order stands in the way of your vision or God’s purpose for your life, it is a license for divine interruption.
ASSIGNMENT(S):
- Nothing can be dynamic until someone is strategic; endeavour to put your mind to work.
- Vehemently refuse and react against any natural order that is against your life and destiny.
PRAYER: Father, thank You for Your Word to me today. I receive the grace to stand against anything that resists my life and destiny, Lord, in Jesus’ Name.
