Dunamis Seeds Of Destiny 31 January 2025 Devotional By Dr. Paul Enenche: How Do You Handle God’s Faithfulness?
TOPIC: How Do You Handle God’s Faithfulness? (Seeds Of Destiny 31 January 2025)
SCRIPTURE: Bless the Lord, O my soul: and all that is within me, bless his holy name. Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits: Psalm 103:1-2.
THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: How you handled the last miracle is what determines whether you will experience the next one.
MESSAGE:
The Book of Luke 17:11-19 gives us the story of ten lepers whom Jesus Christ healed. Ten of them were healed, but only one returned to tell Jesus, “Thank You.” That is to show you the proportion of people that ever return to God to say, “Thank You” to that of those that are ungrateful. You see, if there are one thousand people in a church that experienced the Faithfulness of God in one way or the other, you will have less than one hundred people who know what it means to say, “Thank You” to God.
The truth is, how you handled the last miracle is what determines whether you will experience the next one. Understand also that if you can’t notice what God has done, you will never sight what He will do next. For example, you slept last night, and you woke up this morning because God made you to wake up. If you can’t notice what God has done for you, you will never sight what He will do next. God works for those who take notice of His works. Psalm 103:1-2 says, Bless the Lord, O my soul: and all that is within me, bless his holy name. Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits:
Today, the prayer of many people is 70% complaints. They complain to God, “Lord, why am I where I am? Look, all my mates have left me.” Their prayer is not only 70% complaints, but also 20% accusations against God. They can even tell God, “Lord, I know you don’t love me; you love other people more than me.” Sadly, after reeling out 70% complaints, and 20% accusations against God, they use the remaining 10% of their prayer time in giving orders and commands to God. They tell God, “You must give me a husband before this time next month or I will go for an alternative means to arrange one for myself.” Take note of this: God is too big to take orders from man. We were not created to give Him orders; we were created to give Him praise. So, the first requirement for effective and result-oriented prayer is cultivating the attitude of gratitude. Make up your mind to always remain grateful to God regardless of your situation at a time.
Remember this: How you handled the last miracle is what determines whether you will experience the next one.
