Dunamis Seeds Of Destiny 2 March 2026 Devotional By Dr. Paul Enenche: Living By The Word
TOPIC: Living By The Word (Seeds Of Destiny 2 March 2026)
SCRIPTURE: Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high; Hebrews 1:3
THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: If you introduce a man or a woman to the Word, the Word will introduce them to their world.
MESSAGE
The Word of God is one of the greatest assets to the child of God. Acts 20:32 says, And now, brethren, I commend you to God, and to the word of his grace, which is able to build you up, and to give you an inheritance among all them which are sanctified. In essence, Apostle Paul was saying, “I hand you over to the Word of His grace which is able to build you up, and give you an inheritance among all of them that are sanctified.”
The truth is, if you introduce a man or a woman to the Word, the Word will introduce them to their world.
Now, what is the value of the Word?
- The Word brings light, guidance, and direction to life (Psalm 119:105). The entrance of thy words giveth light; it giveth understanding unto the simple (Psalm 119:130). So, the Word brings light; it brings direction.
There are times when you are at the junction of decision, you dont know what to do. And the Lord leads you to His Word, and that Word tells you exactly what to do. It shows you where to go and how to move.
- The Word brings cleansing and purification to life. If you are battling with wrong habits and lifestyle, it is the Word that empowers you to say, NO to those wrong things, and say, YES to the right things (Psalm 119:9,11).
John 15:3 says, Now ye are clean through the word which I have spoken unto you. So, the Word of God brings cleansing and purification to life.
- The Word transmits to man the Divine Nature. The Life of God, which is a supernatural Life, a sick-less Life as well as a Life of authority and royalty, is transmitted to us by the Word. John 6:63 says, It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life. So, the Word of God is the Life of God made accessible to us.
Now, what do we do to profit from the Word?
- Maintaining hunger and appetite for the Word. We need hunger and appetite for the Word (Matthew 4:4).
Job 23:12 says, Neither have I gone back from the commandment of his lips; I have esteemed the words of his mouth more than my necessary food.
Beloved, you can make up your mind that food will not enter your stomach until the Word enters your spirit.
That is an expression of value for the Word.
- Asking God for supernatural eye opening to insight in the Word. It is crucial to ask and trust God for supernatural eye opening to insight in the Word (Psalm 118:19, Ephesians 1:15-18).
- Making demands on God for the grace and discipline to practice the Word (Joshua 1:8). It is possible to have a hunger for the Word. It is also possible to see revelation from the Word, but until you practice what you see, nothing changes (Revelations
1:3).
Beloved, do not just seek for revelation, ask God for the grace to practice the Word. It is when the Word is practiced that we see results.
Remember this: If you introduce a man or a woman to the Word, the Word will introduce them to their world.
ASSIGNMENT(S):
- Have a daily schedule for the study of the word.
- Ask God for the grace to practice the word.
PRAYER: Lord, give me hunger and appetite for Your Word. Help me to encounter the Word that will change my life as I study Your Word, Lord, in Jesus’ Name.
