SCRIPTURE: So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them. Genesis 1:27.
THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: God is sickless, weariless and tireless; and He created man in His Image. So, man is created to be sickless, weariless and tireless.
MESSAGE:
The Scripture makes it clear that the knowledge of the truth is key to freedom (John 8:32). Therefore, knowing why you must live in health is key to walking and living in health.
You see, what you know determines what you show. The Scripture shows us that Divine health is possible. In our study today, we shall consider one Scriptural basis for Divine health which is Man’s Creation in God’s Image and Likeness.
One reason why we must live in Divine health is that man was created in God’s Image and Likeness.
Genesis 1:26 says:
And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.
God created man in the image and likeness of His sickless, weariless, tireless Self so man can function and exist like Him. God is sickless, weariless and tireless; and He created man in His Image. So, man is created to be sickless, weariless and tireless.
It is very important to know that God created you to exist and function sickless like Him. This understanding is key to living in Divine health.
God lives and operates in a very unusual manner – He does not sleep or slumber (Psalms 121:4), yet He has no headache or any form of pain. This is the Likeness of God and He created you in this same Likeness.
Beloved, reject every sickness or symptom of sickness in your life because you were created in the image of the sickless God, and since He cannot be sick, you too cannot be sick.
Remember this: God is sickless, weariless and tireless; and He created man in His Image and Likeness. So, man is created to be sickless, weariless and tireless.
ASSIGNMENTS:
- Always remind yourself that you are created in the image of the sickless God.
- In the light of the revelation above, reject every symptom of sickness the devil is showing you.
PRAYER: Thank You Lord for creating me in Your sickless Image. I reject every sickness in my body, and I make demands for total Divine health, Lord, in Jesus’ Name.
