Seeds Of Destiny Devotional – Raised By Praise

Dunamis Seeds Of Destiny 12 March 2026 Devotional By Dr. Paul Enenche: Raised By Praise

TOPIC: Raised By Praise (Seeds Of Destiny 12 March 2026)

SCRIPTURE: Although the fig tree shall not blossom, neither shall fruit be in the vines; the labour of the olive shall fail…Yet I will rejoice in the Lord, I will joy in the God of my salvation. The Lord God is my strength, and he will make my feet like hinds’ feet, and he will make me to walk upon mine high places. – Habakkuk 3:17-19

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: If the enemy wants to keep you in the pit, he will close your mouth in praise. If he wants to keep you on the floor, he attacks your praise.

MESSAGE

Without any contradiction, Scriptures make it clear that praise is a raiser or lifter of people. On the other hand, depression is a limitation to lives and destinies.

Beloved, if the devil cannot shut your mouth in praise, he cannot limit your rise in life.

Throughout Scripture, we see people who were highly lifted. And the interesting thing is that they were also people who praised God abundantly.

King David of Israel was a great example. David was called the sweet psalmist of Israel because he was a man who raised up consistent altars of praise and worship to God. This is captured in 2Samuel 23:1; Now these be the last words of David. David the son of Jesse said, and the man who was raised up on high, the anointed of the God of Jacob, and the sweet psalmist of Israel,

By being the sweet psalmist, a worshipper, and a praiser, he was raised up on high. To praise God is to be raised in life. You cannot be a praiser and remain in low places of life. That is why if the enemy wants to keep you in the pit, he will close your mouth in praise. If he wants to keep you on the floor, he attacks your praise.

In Psalm 34:1, David says, I will bless the LORD at all times: his praise shall continually be in my mouth. No wonder Saul, the Amalekites and the Philistines could not stop his rise.

Now, how does praise raise people?

  1. Praise establishes the Presence of God around the life of the praiser(Psalm 22:3, Psalm 100:4), and the Presence of God in the life of a person takes the person from ordinary existence to extraordinary heights in life.
  2. Praise unleashes Divine favour on the praiser (Acts 2:47, Psalm 89:17). Show me a man or a woman who knows how to praise, and I will show you a man or a woman who will walk in favour.

And when God’s favour is on a person, their lifting is natural and effortless. In Esther 2:17, when Esther was favoured, she was also lifted.

  1. Praise triggers the release of human potential. Your praise releases your potential. David who was a symbol of praise and worship in the Bible was also a man of multiple potentials: he was a singer, a song writer, an inventor of music equipment, an instrumentalist, a music director, a king, a prophet, a priest, a warrior, a giant killer and military general, a people developer, etc. David touched every mantle available in the Old Testament.

Beloved, if you do what David did with God, you can experience what David experienced with God.

Remember this: If the enemy wants to keep you in the pit, he will close your mouth in praise. If he wants to keep you on the floor, he attacks your praise.

ASSIGNMENT (S):

  1. Do not allow anything to hinder your praise life.
  2. Maintain a sound relationship with the Holy Ghost; He is the custodian of joy.

PRAYER: Thank You Lord for Your faithfulness in my life. As I praise You ceaselessly, orchestrate my rising to my high places, Lord, in Jesus’ Name.
