SCRIPTURE: And ye shall serve the LORD your God, and he shall bless thy bread, and thy water; and I will take sickness away from the midst of thee. Exodus 23:25
THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: Service is a blessing connector; service is a connector of supernatural supplies.
MESSAGE:
Our anchor Scripture above has established the fact that service is a doorway to the Blessing of God. When you serve the Lord your God, he shall bless your bread and your water (Exodus 23:25). Service is a blessing connector; service is a connector of supernatural supplies.
If you serve the Lord, you shall be blessed. And it is not just serving God but also servicing your generation.
If God blessed you greatly, what would you do with the money? It is to service your generation.
When you minister to people, you will discover that there are many people in need. Many times, you may not even know where to start from in meeting people’s needs.
Let me give you an example.
After preaching on a Sunday in multiple services one day, as I was attending to people, I saw many people in diverse needs. Some would tell you, I do not have where to sleep this night; others would say, I do not even know what I would eat tonight.
Remember, I had just finished preaching and was already exhausted, but they were saying, Pastor, please attend to us; let us trust God for where we will sleep tonight.
What I did was to carry money in my pocket anywhere I went because I met needy people everywhere.
Beloved, God wants you to come to a point where you begin to service your generation. That is, you come to a point where you are positioned to service your generation with supplies. You do not look for money for personal comfort but to service your generation. When you make up your mind to serve God and service your generation, supplies will flow effortlessly to you.
REMEMBER THIS: Service is a blessing connector; service is a connector of supernatural supplies.
ASSIGNMENTS:
- Make up your mind to deploy yourself maximally to the service of the Lord.
- Always be kind and loving towards others in order to both serve and win them to God.
PRAYER: Lord, I ask for the wisdom and resources to serve You and my generation. Give me the grace to serve You and service my generation, Lord, in Jesus’ Name.
