TOPIC: The Gain Of Wisdom (Seeds Of Destiny 20 February 2025)
SCRIPTURE: If the iron be blunt, and he do not whet the edge, then must he put to more strength: but wisdom is profitable to direct. Ecclesiastes 10:10.
THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: Where wisdom is lacking, losses abound.
MESSAGE:
It has been confirmed that the availability of wisdom is the availability of profit. Wisdom brings profits to life and destiny. Wisdom is, indeed, profitable. Ecclesiastes 10:10 says: If the iron be blunt, and he do not whet the edge, then must he put to more strength: but wisdom is profitable to direct. Wisdom is profitable. Wisdom is gainful. Wisdom makes gains available to the wise. The availability of wisdom is the availability of gains. The opposite is also true: where wisdom is lacking, losses abound. If you find yourself losing, especially in business or any other realm, it is an indication that wisdom is lacking somewhere. Consider the landmark judgment that Solomon delivered in 1 Kings 3:22-23. Two women, both harlots who were roommates, came to him, each claiming ownership of a living child. One child had died, and they began to dispute over the living child.
There was a dimension of wisdom that Solomon displayed that could have only come from above. When both women claimed the living child, Solomon declared, “Bring me a sword. I want to divide the child into two and share equally for the two of you.” The woman whose child it was immediately begged him to spare the child, while the other woman agreed to the division. Solomon, in his wisdom, declared the child belonged to the woman who wanted to save it. That wisdom saved the life of the child. It made it impossible for a whole human life to be lost. That was wisdom at work! Beloved, make up your mind to live a profitable life by the engagement of divine wisdom.
Remember this: Where wisdom is lacking, losses abound.
ASSIGNMENT:
- Attack the losses of life by the application of wisdom.
- Consistently study the Word of God because it is the bank of wisdom.
PRAYER: Father, I ask that You deliver me from the losses of life. I receive the grace to live a profitable life by the habitual engagement of the Spirit of wisdom, Lord in Jesus’ Name.
