TOPIC: The Proofs Of Faith (Seeds Of Destiny 29 September 2025)
SCRIPTURE: Every word of God proves true. He defends all who come to him for protection. Proverbs 30:5, TLB.
THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: The Word of God is truer than every other evidence around you.
MESSAGE
We live in the last days where the devil is doing overtime because he knows that his time is short. But the good news is that the devil is not in control; God is in control.
However, in times like this, it is necessary to operate in the realm of strong faith in God. This is because it takes faith to surmount satanic resistance and obstacles.
So, today, we shall be looking at the proofs of faith in God. There are many proofs of faith, but we will be looking at two of them in this study.
- Holding on to the Word of God, and refusing to let go, no matter what. Our anchor scripture makes us understand that every Word of God proves true. God defends all who come to Him for protection – protection against deadly virus, cancer, shame, emptiness, scarcity, depression, etc. (Proverbs 30:5, TLB).
Beloved, are you interested in God’s protection? Hold on to His Word. The Word of God is truer than every other evidence around you. When you believe the report of the Lord, then His Arm will be revealed in your direction (Isaiah 53:1).
- Praising in anticipation of expectation. Psalm 106:12 says, Then believed they his words; they sang his praise. And Romans 4:20 says, He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God.
So, praising God in anticipation of expectation is a proof of faith. That was what Paul and Silas did in their situation of captivity in the prison of Philippi. They were beaten and thrown into prison, but rather than lamenting their woes, they praised God in the prison and something changed.
And at midnight Paul and Silas prayed and sang praises unto God: and the prisoners heard them.
And suddenly there was a great earthquake, so that the foundations of the prison were shaken: and immediately all the doors were opened, and every one’s bands were loosed. Acts 16:25-26
Praising God in anticipation or expectation is proof of unusual faith. Worshipping and celebrating God in a situation of oppression and persecution is a demonstration of uncommon faith. It is also a potent tool of liberation.
Beloved, as you consistently engage in actions that confirm your faith in God, your victory is guaranteed, in Jesus’ Name.
Remember this: The Word of God is truer than every other evidence around you.
ASSIGNMENT(S):
- Praise God always; never allow anything to stop your praise.
- Find out the promises of God for your life in Scripture and hold on to them.
PRAYER: Lord, thank You for all Your promises to me. I will praise You in every situation as I trust You to cause all things to work together for my good, Lord, in Jesus’ Name.
