TOPIC: You Cannot Be Consumed (Seeds Of Destiny 30 May 2025)
SCRIPTURE: For I am the Lord, I change not; therefore ye sons of Jacob are not consumed. Malachi 3:6
THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: Whatever may be consuming others is not permitted to consume you.
MESSAGE:
The aim of today’s seeds of Destiny is to rekindle faith in the deliverance capacity of the Almighty. This is because it is possible to come to a point where one begins to doubt if God really protects His people.
It is true that we live in dangerous times, but that is not the important news. The important news is that no matter how dangerous the world is, and no matter how wicked people have become, we still serve a God who is eternally committed to the preservation and deliverance of His people. Psalm 23:4 says, Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. So, it does not matter what we walk through, we are only walking through it; we are not stopping there. So, God is eternally committed to the preservation of His people even in dangerous times.
Beloved, let it be clear to you that times change, people change, situations change, but God cannot change, and His Word cannot change. We serve an unchanging God in changing times. Malachi 3:6 says, For I am the Lord, I change not; therefore ye sons of Jacob are not consumed. So, whatever may be consuming others is not permitted to consume you.
Jesus Christ the same yesterday, today and forever (Hebrews 13:8). The same Word that worked in times past, is available and is working today irrespective of the multiplication of men and their evil.
One of our young men, a policeman from one of our branches in Benue state, Nigeria testified some time ago. He said God appeared to him using my face, and gave him water to drink in a prophetic dream encounter. He said I told him, “This is for power.”
He drank it. That was more like spiritual cooking (fortification). He went out on assignment after that encounter, and they ran into armed robbers. They were ambushed. Two of his colleagues were killed, and the bullets passed around him, but they could not enter his body. It was impossible for the bullets to penetrate him because God had already cooked (prepared or fortified) him in the dream. When power jam power the lesser power must bow.
Now, I declare that every arrow from the pit of hell fired against you is re-fired back to senders.
Remember this: Whatever may be consuming others is not permitted to consume you.
ASSIGNMENT (S):
- Refuse to believe that because something bad happened to others, it must happen to you.
- Digest at least a verse of the scripture into your spirit daily; let it keep your faith in God charged.
PRAYER: Lord, thank You for Your commitment in preserving my life and destiny. I am secured in You Lord, so no devil can take me out of life before my time, in Jesus’ Name.
