About T-Sharp
Taiwo Gabriel Ogobowale (Born 31st January), known professionally as T Sharp (stylised as T#) is a Singer, Songwriter, Composer, Music Director and Multi-instrumentalist. He grew up in Lagos, surrounded by a family of musicians, whose influence subsequently steered him to study musicology at the West Africa Music Academy.
An elite member of the Pastor Chris Oyakhilome music team, T Sharp is a Gospel / Christian Contemporary Music Minister and for the past 15 years, has traveled to many cities across the world, performing to audiences of more than 2.5 million in USA, Canada, The United Kingdom, Europe, South Africa, Hawaii Ghana, Kenya, Uganda, South Africa and many more.
With over 18 years experience of leading, handling and participating in various music groups: he leads a thirty-five (35) man orchestra and 100 man band, and is an active member of the Presidential Choir in Christ Embassy; a group which comprises of the biggest names in gospel music today, like Sinach, Frank Edwards, Eben, Joe Praize, Ada Ehi, Martin Phike, Samsong, Isaiah Samson, Jahdiel, and Chris Shalom.
He is also the music instructor at the LoveWorld Music Academy. A high point of his career, was in 2015 when he conducted the twelve thousand (12,000) man choir at Christ Embassy’s attempt to break the Guinness World Record of the largest gospel choir in the world.
As a Recording Artiste, T-Sharp released his first album in 2010; Heaven’s Rain which spawned the hit single, Kileoleshe that introduced the world to his unique singing style. He further serenaded the world with his particular brand of music with the release of his sophomore album in 2015; On My Lips. This particular album was laden with many hit songs, chief of them, Melody in My Heart which today is sung in many churches around the world.
In July 2017, he released the hit single, My Identity, which today is a national anthem around the BLW Nation. Also, he has released Let Love Lead in preparation for the release of his third album.
He has collaborated with Sinach on two (2) of her tracks (Precious Jesus & Unchanging God); Ur Flames (Good Life); and Sam Jamz (Holy Holy).
T-Sharp’s passion for music is evident in his clear sonorous voice and mastery of six (6) musical instruments (Guitar, Piano, Drums, Bass, Percussions, and Cello)
