Scripture: There are many devices in a man’s heart; nevertheless the counsel of the Lord, that shall stand. Proverbs 19:21
Thought For The Day: The Word of God is more than able to handle the imaginations, orchestrations, permutations and machinations of men.
From our anchor scripture, it is established that even though man has many devices in his heart, it is the counsel of the Lord that shall stand. It does not matter the kind of confrontations, challenges, or economic situation in the land; only the counsel of the Lord shall stand.
From our anchor scripture, ‘devices’ mean imaginations, orchestrations, and satanic calculations in the heart of men. And to devise, in this context, means the gathering of equipment, devices, machines, tools and weapons of war by the hearts of men.
What then, is the meaning of counsel?
1. It is the Word of God: The Word of God is heavier than the weapons of men. It is more than able to handle the imaginations, orchestrations, permutations and machinations of men.
2. It is the Purpose of God: It is only what God has ordained that shall stand. It does not matter what people wish or what the devil has calculated against your life and your family, it is only what God has purposed and designed concerning your life that shall stand.
Beloved, in your life and family, only the counsel of the Lord shall stand in Jesus’ Name.
Remember This: The Word of God is more than able to handle the imaginations, orchestrations, permutations and machinations of men.

- Search the Scripture daily to locate the counsel of God for your life.
Prayer: O Lord, I decree that only Your counsel shall stand in my life in Jesus’ Name.
