Thought For The Day: Reverence for God is key to becoming a reference in life.
The Scriptures make it abundantly clear that children of God are created and designed by God to be illuminators of this world. That is, we are to exist as light bearers, road pointers, front liners, change agents, history makers and world shakers to our generation. We are to exist as carriers of light that dissipates darkness.
Scientists like Nicolaus Copernicus; the one who propounded the heliocentric theory was a senior member of the clergy (Prebendary) in a catholic cathedral. Isaac Newton, the founder of classical mechanics in Physics wrote more on homiletics, the art of preaching than his writings on physics. John D. Rockefeller, the first dollar billionaire in the world was a devoted Northern Baptist who supported many church-based institutions.
These great men impacted their generation because they were committed to God always.
Beloved, it is donation to God that allocates relevance to people in life; devotion to God determines your duration in life. Reverence for God is key to becoming a reference in life. Your depth in God determines your height in life.
Beloved, devote and donate yourself to God in order to become a reference point in life.
