Dunamis Daily Devotional – The Miracle And The Glory

Topic: The Miracle And The Glory [Tuesday March 20, 2018]

Scripture: This beginning of miracles did Jesus in Cana of Galilee, and manifested forth his glory; and his disciples believed on him. John 2:11

Thought For The Day: The glory of God is the essential nature of Divinity; it is the density of God’s personality.

There is a relationship between miracles and the glory of God. Miracles are the manifestation of God’s glory. The condition for miracles for a child of God is the availability of God’s glory. That is why anywhere the glory is scarce, miracles are scarce. The cry for miracles will never be answered until passion for God’s glory is on ground. Glory is the main product while miracles are the by-products.

From our anchor scripture, Jesus was invited to the wedding at Cana in Galilee. Jesus is the same as His glory, so, for as long as Jesus was present at the occasion, even when the wine seemed to have finished, the glory was present to perform a miracle and avert shame and embarrassment. It is not possible for glory and shame to be present at the same time. Shame must give way for the glory of God. Those who seek God’s glory do not beg for miracles. The glory of God is the essential nature of divinity; it is the density of God’s personality.

Beloved, in order to connect to higher dimensions of miracles, we must connect to greater dimensions of passion for His glory.

Remember This: The glory of God is the essential nature of divinity; it is the density of God’s personality.
