Topic: The Praise Of Faith: An Antidote For Doubt [Monday March 26, 2018]
Scripture: Then believed they his words; they sang his praise. Psalm 106:12.
Thought For The Day: You cannot believe God and not praise Him; and you cannot doubt God and be excited.
It has been established that there is a strong connection between praise and faith. People of faith are people of praise. In other words, a man of faith is a man of praise but doubt establishes a man in depression. When a person is not sure of who he is, where he is, and what God can do, he is established in depression.
Paul, an apostle of faith who admonished us in 1Timothy 6:12 to fight the good fight of faith was also an apostle of gratitude and appreciation. He told us in Philippians 4:6, Be careful for nothing; but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.
You cannot believe God and not praise Him; and you cannot doubt God and be excited.
What then, is the focus of the praise of faith?
Faith praises God for His faithfulness and loving kindness in time past while counting on His faithfulness for the future. Faith says, if God did it yesterday, no devil can stop Him from doing it tomorrow. Faith says, I know where God took me from and I am sure of where He is taking me to. Faith says, I know what God will do tomorrow because I saw what He did yesterday.
Beloved, endeavour to praise God in order to connect with unusual supernatural stamina.
Remember This: You cannot believe God and not praise Him; and you cannot doubt God and be excited.
