Wisdom For The Day Devotional 15 October 2022 By Bishop Mike Okonkwo – Blow Your Trumpets

TOPIC: Blow Your Trumpets (TREM Devotional 15 October 2022)

“But the Spirit of the LORD came upon Gideon, and he blew a trumpet; and Abi-ezer was gathered after him.” Judges 6:34 (KJV)

MESSAGE:

Child of God your walk with God is from glory to glory. It starts in glory, it progresses in glory and it will end in glory. It is already settled. God has already established you. Your story can never end in reproach. Your story can never end in shame. For you to operate in the divine realm, you must have the mentality of dominion and victory. Don’t welcome the mentality of shortage. Your story is filled with glory.

You have a song and if you fail to sing your song, no one will sing it for you. The scripture told us about how Gideon who was hiding at the beginning blew his trumpet and the entire nation came to him. Each time you open your mouth to speak, you are blowing your trumpet. It is not your business to know how it happens. It is supernatural!

Everything that came into existence started from “And God said.” And the bible says in the book of 2 Corinthians 4:13: “We having the same spirit of faith, according to as it is written, I believed, and therefore have I spoken; we also believe, and therefore speak;” (2 Corinthians 4:13 KJV). Speak what you believe and let the devil hear it. God did not change the names of Abram and Sarai to Abraham and Sarah by accident. It was intentional. Abraham means Father of nations while Sarah means mother of nations. It was not because God was looking for words. He wanted them to blow their trumpets in the faces of the people who will ridicule them.

Trumpets is one of the instruments that form the lifestyle of God’s people in the Old Testament and it was used for many things but in our time, our mouth is our trumpet. A closed mouth is a closed destiny. If there was a time you are expected to blow your trumpet it is now. Trumpets are used to summon divine assistance. So when you begin to speak, angels will begin to gather but when your mouth is closed your angels are going to be on vacation.
